Zack looked at Elena. "I don't know. Were we? And if we were, are we still together?"
(Note:Zack and Aerith were together, but Zack didn't know it.)

Aerith blinked, raising her head off his shoulder, she did not expect Elena to ask such a question!
"Welll..." For starters, Aerith was still wearing the bow Zack got her so many years ago. She seemed a little shy, maybe it was because Kaia was still there, or just being in front of her friends at talking about it was a little different. She wanted to say yes, though at the same time, she was confused. Cloud and herself never truly got together, but there was definitely a strong connection between them.And now he was missing, she didn't know what to say.
"We were together, Yes."
Just then, Nanaki broke in, his voice was very calm. "Perhaps this is a conversation we should let them disguss on there own." His deep yellow eyes slowly opened, giving Elena a faint warning stare. He might not of cared if it was just all of them there, but with a young girl like Kaia in the room, it wasn't the best topic of choice.

Aerith nodded softly. "Do you want to take a walk?" She thought it would be best for them to talk about it now, it she didn't just want to dismiss it for later.

"Yeah." Zack smiled, letting Aerith stand up. He grabbed her hand and they walked out.

As they got outside, she gently squeezed his hand. It was almost as though she were checking to see if he was truly there with her, holding her hand. "I'm sorry about Elena. I never would have thought she would ask such a personal question!"
She took a moment to gather her thoughts, before speaking again."When you left that day, I always looked forward to a call from you, or a letter. Everyday I got one, It made me so happy.. Then, I stopped getting letters and calls from you.." She paused again before continuing. " I thought maybe you had found another women.." She smiled a little at her next words. To show she wasn't upset with him."You were such a womanizer! "
"After years had gone by without a word from you, I met someone. The first time I met him, he reminded me of you.. He was in Soldier, too. Maybe you know him? His name was Cloud Strife."
She continued.. "We were never a couple, though I began to have feelings for him. I never thought I would see you again, Zack.." Frowning, she didn't know what to do. She loved Zack, he was her first love.
"I..don't want to lose you again."

Zack hugged Aerith, smiling. Knowing that it was his fault for dying on her, he couldn't get angry or sad, or even dissapointed. "I don't want to lose you, either."

Now they were down three people, Elena shrugged. Maybe it was for the best they worked there problems out. Elena had her own set of them when it came to the world of love. She loved Tseng, but over time, she started to like Reno. Tseng had never really even spoken to her. Maybe what she felt for him was just childish in the end. No matter what, she would never rid of how she felt for him.
Nanaki laid his head back down, seeming to almost fall asleep there on the floor.

Aerith smiled softly as she felt his embrace once more, though this time she returned it, her deep emerald green eyes looking up at him. "Then..Together again?"

This night was turning out to be suddenly, a wonderful night! She never wanted to hurt Cloud, but he wasn't here, was he? He never came to her when she was brought back. And she knew he was alive, she could feel it. He may of had his reasons, but from now on, she had everything to look foward to with her first love, Zack. "I hope this isn't a dream!"

Aerith blinked, thinking about his question. It was a beautiful night, maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea. "I've never slept outside before, but...Sure! It really is a nice night for even looking at the stars.." She only hoped Yuffie wouldn't be upset that they weren't staying in there home!
(( Think I'm going to actaully be doing that. lol. 4am here. ))
