It was only a month ago when she got the idea for that chain. She had been experimenting with grenades for some time now, this new chain was going to be awesome. She nearly squealed with excitement as she finished the second grenade. Recently she had started to learn about every weapon she could get her grubby little hands on. Speaking of that... I wonder what that strange weapon was that I found earlier. She thought briefly remembering tossing it aside right before she had crashed on the couch. As she put the completed grenade down, she tried to remember what it looked like. She barely had gotten a good look at it earlier.

Picturing what she could, River could not figure out what the weapon was, or what it was for. She will tinker with it once she had more time. She tapped the grenade container lightly letting the powder settle. She let her mind wander again, while her hands moved almost on their own; knowing the workings of the grenades well. Thinking again of how she had been saved earlier, she inwardly kicked herself for being caught off guard like that. And thanks to that, she didn't get to look at the weapon. She was itching to figure out what it was. Her mind that was once begging for sleep, was now saying; Sleep? What is this... sleep? Seriously though... That was a close one. River thought suppressing a shudder.

Man the Fluffmister really saved my neck earlier. I have to make him something as thanks. River thought struggling with this particular spring. "Stupid little..." She started to say irritated, when it connected to the primer. Her song then changed to something she did not remember having. She wrinkled her nose and unhooked her monkey music quickly switching that song; making a mental note to remove that from her favorites list. Something better began to play removing the addictive song from sticking to her brain. She tapped her foot as she added the charm/pin completing grenade number three. Giglamesh would not really know where to start, he planed out making ivy cover her tool belt, and instead of flowers have random little icons. She would like it, but it was weird for him do to the thing he typically did. But any ways he would begin on the ivy that cover her tool belt, he would cast protect in to the raw magecite. It would glow a deep yellow, but not quite gold, however it swirled with green inside the magecite. Giglamesh would begin to chisel on the tool belt the ivy and leaves as he went down it. He would begin to leave gaps and think of icon he could put on them, obviously the card suits came to mind. Perhaps a little kitty, maybe even a twisted smiley face.

What should I make him though? She wondered as she started on the forth nade. Heck what does one even make for a behemoth? She added blowing some of the powder away. Well it's not like he needs a weapon. She thought remembering how easily the behemoth had gotten rid of the men. What to do... She mused.

What about a pop up tent to protect him from rain? River thought glancing out the window briefly. I wish he could just come inside. She added giving muse a fleeting idea to cling to. That's how the Nade chain came to fruition. Speaking of... Man... i can't wait to fully test it. She thought glancing at the finished grenade in her hand. Adding the pin/charm she put it away.

Giglamesh would notice that she had already put together several grenades. That was good that she mas making such progress in making them, as to was he making progress on her tool belt. The ivy leafing pattern was nearly finished wrapping around her tool belt straps one time, the leaves he wouldn't put the greatest detail in to them because it would draw attention away from the main dynamic veiw of the enchantment.

River can't remember where the idea of the nade chain came from; but she thanks her muse for clinging to that thought. Thinking back, she remembered when explosives first sparked her interest. It was a battle she and Giglamesh had been in, once she could, she research as much as she could and started to experiment.

Her first time with grenades was not to long ago. River had been wanting a secondary weapon for some time now. Her gunblades were cool enough, fun to use and packing a punch; she just wanted something more. Probably because she had watched Giglamesh switch to new weapons so much. Her first idea was actually what sparked her second idea. The first idea was still needing some lighter metal materials before she could even start trying to make that; plus the collapsing feature was being a pain in the a**. She started to work on plan number two; grenades, which worked with plan number one, and sparked plan number three; the nade chain. Grenades could be used so many different ways; she was excited to test and see what else she could do with them.

Giglamesh had finished up with the ivy and leaves which lined the tool belt, now he would begin to put on the finer details, instead of flowers however he was making different symbols. ll types of different things the first one he created was a Smiley face. Following it was Heart, and the following symbol was a spade. He put fine detail in to the spade, of course he would being known as the ace of spades. There were a few more symbols, but the spade more then others was more fine tuned.

Speaking of tests, when she was first trying to make grenades, she started to make a notebook of the composition, a way to keep track of the different uses, what worked, what needed more power. If she was honest to herself, it was also because some of her creations scared her.Hopefully one day she will start experimenting again. With the notebook keeping track of earlier... adventures, she knew exactly where to start back on. It was 5 months ago when she became serious about building and creating the nade chain. To do that though she first needed to be familiar, and comfortable with grenades. As if knowing she was starting to reminisce, her monkey music player started a new song. He would add a few extra symbols on to her tool belt, he was nearly finished. Just a few more fine tuning peices he had to do. He wassnt sure exactly sure where each rune engravement was but he had the general idea and because of such he more then likely wouldn't make the same mistake of going over the same engravement twice, pleas such a easy pattern was hard to make a mistake like that on. The raw magecit was glowing a intense yellow light, with swilring green myst inside the crystal. A think yellow myst filled the room yet he and river both kept working, both listening to the music tuning out all the noise there were making with the music, and working in to shop. They did have the room sound proofed for a very good reason outside.

{Five months ago} A large explosion rocked the earth. River felt it even from where she was. She uncovered her hands from her ears and a wave of dust and sand engulfed her. She coughed and waved her arms trying to clear the air having to spit a it of sand out of her mouth. So gross... She thought. She was standing behind a large rock waiting for the air to clear before she climbed up the rock to see if she hit the target or not.

{Five months ago} River now sat on the rock cross legged scowling as she rested her right elbow on her knee sitting Indian style she had her chin in the palm of her right hand. Having taken off her goggles to see the results she found disappointment. What am I doing wrong? She wondered. The grenade had missed the target by a few feet at least. She knew she needed more power, and more control behind the throw... but come on... She thought and in frustration she yanked her goggled off her forehead messing her hair up, she exclaimed, "Gah!" before shoving the goggles around her neck. Freaking nade... She thought.
