You see energy, so you can see everyone that has energy. I don't care you may bunk into some walls or furniture. Your still gonna stop people's blows, I know it.

Alright, so what do you suggest?
PostPosted: Sun Sep 19, 2010 9:53 pm

_Manpish_
RPC Name: Raizo Altair
Rank: Advanced Trainee
Talent Description: Memory Remembrance: Raizo can see small bits of the Memories of his friends and people who are close to him by feeling their energy and gathering it in his mind.

Talent Weakness: Memory block: Raizo cannot see all of his friends memories seeing as he does not have access to their minds or any way to read their minds except for their energy.

How did the character get this talent?: By talking to Xiomar in CREED about Yensen's memories and visiting Yensen's favorite waterfall.

Sample:

Quote:
Raizo walked into the area and felt all the water energy around him. it felt very good. but he also felt a familiar energy that he knew all to well, Yensen's Energy. Raizo quickly moved over to the waterfall that had Yensen's Energy and jumped onto the rock that sat in front of the waterfall. His small cat tail swished from side to side as he felt Yensen's Energy all around him. 'Why didn't i feel this before?....Maybe it was because of all the water energy? or Maybe i had never thought about coming here before?' Raizo thought to himself also wondering if Yensen had sat on this exact rock as well when he came here.

Quote:
As Raizo sat there he began to get small flashback of Yensen sitting here meditating before fights and sleeping in the water. Raizo didn't know what was happening but he simply shut his eyes and let the Memories flood into him seeing as he wanted to see more. But sadly all the memories were of Yensen sitting on this rock meditating along with some small amount of training he had done here. "Why can i see these?" Raizo questioned himself wondering how he could see these flashbacks of his best friends memories.

(( ok... im gonna have my talent be something that has to do with seeing Raizo's friends memorys... but this is my first shot at it...))

(( this was skipped....))

Kagetsukiko
Well, here's my second attempt, let's see how this one works out sweatdrop .

RPC Name: Tsubasa Sonitus-Confuto
Rank: Adept
Talent Description: Even though she isn't a biochemist, Feather is able to have as many summons as she wants. She can call these summons at will by playing a certain melody (a custom skill that I'll eventually make) on her ocarina (a custom weapon that I will eventually submit) or singing the melody with her own voice and is able to have up to two summons (a custom that she made herself and one that she tamed) on the field at any time. She is also able to talk to and understand animals with this talent.
Talent Weakness: While they may be labeled as "summons," Tsubasa may have only two, separate custom summons (as opposed to the usual three). The rest must be already created animals/monsters that she has tamed in rp through some method or other and that she has met without the sole purpose of taming them (ex: it's alright for me to ask out of rp if she could meet a couple Charlies during a mission to tame them but Tsubasa, herself, cannot purposely go outside and meet Charlies with the intent to tame them). In addition, she can only summon these summons if she is in the same country that they have been tamed in. These summons can die as easily as any monster and take at least two posts to reach Tsubasa's location after being called.
To ensure that Tsubasa has fairly tamed a potential summon, a crew member must look over the taming process and approve of it.
How did the character get this talent?: Even for a siren, Tsubasa is extremely gentle. Never willing to hurt anything living, she always opts for the more peaceful method, which has led her to become skilled at calming animals that were a potential threat to her. She has learned, through experience, that there is a reason for attacks and she seeks to find that reason and use it to end a fight peacefully. Through constant use of this method, the girl has come to tame quite a number of creatures, much more than a normal bard tames.

Sample: This is actually a bunch of quotes from my most recent adept exams, the one that I actually passed. I plan on making the Pale One (the wyvern) a summon if this talent gets planned and if it's alright with everyone sweatdrop . Even if I can't at the moment, I'd still like this talent for future purposes.

Kagetsukiko
Tsubasa eyes shot up as she saw the wyvern take to the skies, only realizing a moment later that Lyethry was still on it.
{Sora!} she shouted through her connection with her summon.
Sora responded immediately, abruptly turning what had been his second ascent, into a dive. Using his speed--a combination of the fall along with his still active skill--the summon cut through the air turbulence caused by the wyvern's wings and immediately pulled Lye off. He had no choice. With the speed he was going at to reach the feral and the fact that his wings increased the area that the winds formed by the wyvern could affect, it was inevitable for the summon to take Lye completely off the dragon. For a bit, the dive continued as Sora sought to create some distance between his passenger and the dragon, after which the summon righted himself and promptly dropped his passenger.

Of course, Lyethry didn't fall to his death. Actually, he was pretty close to the ground and landed right next to Tsubasa and Pix. Sora perched on his summoner's shoulder, resting for a bit. It was obvious that their original plan wasn't going to work. Meanwhile, Tsubasa's eyes were glued on the dragon. {Sora,} the girl asked, {can you reach him?}.
The dragon-like creature looked at his owner with an exasperated expression on his face but did as he was asked, trying to send the messages that he knew Tsubasa would have wanted, {Why are you terrorizing the humans? What's wrong? Maybe we can help? Please, we don't want to fight you,} into the wyvern's head.

Mayvine

The Pale One dodged and out maneuvered the flying rocks, he took noticed of the small hawk and attempted to swat it out of the air with it's whip like tail as it started to go even higher. When Sora attempted to communicate with the beast, he'd be met by blurred images of a blue dragon that was possibly twice the size of the Pale One. The beast then turn towards the ground aiming at the golem maxima and going for a dive bomb to crush the giant.

Kagetsukiko

Tsubasa bit her lip even harder as she heard Pix's reasoning. The biochemist was logically right, but that didn't stop Feather from not accepting the explanation. the girl thought to herself as she received the images through her link with Sora,
{Territory. The blue dragon could have beaten the Pale One out of its territory. It's a common sight,} Sora replied, he had been able to easily hear Feather's frantic thoughts.
Feather digested the information for only a second before raising a hand to stop Lye and Pix from attacking the dragon. "Guys, please," the girl's voice quavered as she mustered up all her courage, she was no longer keeping up her act of maturity, she couldn't with all of this stress, "Give me a chance to do something. I'll distract the dragon for a bit. I want to make sure of something."
Sora had been blatantly shocked at Feather's idea, his expression showing it clearly a moment before the girl announced her intentions. However, he simply sighed and hopped down to his summoner's shoulders. He was quaking in fear at what they were just about to do but he managed to still the shivering with several deep breaths.

Before Lye and Pix could respond, both Tsubasa and Sora had begun flying--with only Sora's wings, of course. {That blue dragon,} Tsubasa asked the dragon through Sora as she quickly ascended, {That blue dragon, was he the one that forced you to come here? Did he steal your home?}. She knew that what she was currently doing could very well be foolish but… everything in her body screamed out to not destroy this creature, especially one so majestic, without exhausting all other options first. Sure, the dragon had been untameable so far, but who was to say that it wasn't worth a try? No matter the size or danger level, Feather was going to try everything to find a peaceful solution. The girl made her position obvious as she and Sora skimmed over to the side, far away from where her other two teammates were. Hopefully, the dragon would pay attention to them more than her friends; hopefully, it would be more attracted to the blood--his own--that was present on the summon's wings than whatever Lye and Pix had.

Mayvine
The Pale One crashed into the golem maxima with it's massive talons, crushing it into the ground. It took notice of Tsubasa and Sora almost instantly, not because of the scent of his own blood, but the strange scent from the girl, she didn't smell human and confused him. He closed his wings and crawled towards her, when he actually "heard" their questions it was shocking. Being wild, it did not know the human language and replied with a series of images, first of a large sleeping volcano, then of the blue dragon and countless smaller ones nearly blocking out the sun over the crater of the volcano, and then finally a memory of it's wounds from after the event.

Kagetsukiko
Tsubasa watched as the images rushed through her head. Sora was no longer complaining about having to try and take such a passive, yet dangerous, approach. He may have been a lot more eager to fight than Feather, but he wasn't the type to attack when there was a reason not to. Tsubasa and Sora hovered in the air, high above and far away from either Pix or Lye, as she relayed another series of messages. This time, the girl didn't bother speaking in a language. She could tell that the dragon was not familiar to words and didn't want to alienate it by making it more uncomfortable than it needed to be.

Feather relayed emotions of sadness and pain, showing her sympathy for what the dragon had to endure and her wish to help him through with it. As she portrayed her dislike of violence, making it clear that she would be unable to help the Pale One take back his home, she also portrayed a peaceful valley--the same valley that she loved flying in--and pictured it with the dragon residing in their instead of in the volcano. She remembered what Gregory must have said about the Pale One being driven out of his home, and hoped that offering a substitute, even though it was nowhere near a volcano, would help him. Underneath everything Tsubasa expressed, there was a peaceful melody. The sound, if it could be called that considering it was sent through telepathy, would do nothing in terms of a skill but the girl hoped it would help to calm the dragon if even just a bit.

Sora, meanwhile, inserted his own ideas in between what his summoner had said. While he may not have been a dragon, there was a point in time when he lived in the wild and witnessed things like what the Pale One had just experienced. As a result, he knew some of the more natural concerns that were probably on its mind. He tried to ensure that there had been no recent sighting of any blue dragons, or any dragons for that matter, around the valley. That the area was isolated, far from where most humans traveled, and had an abundance of wildlife (aka food).

Mayvine
The Pale One took some time before it made it's decision. After nearly half an hour later, it got up on it's legs, opened it's wings and flew off in the direction of the valley that Tsubasa had brought up through Sora.

Kagetsukiko
Tsubasa smiled brightly as the wyvern left and thought, {Thank you,} to it as it went to the valley. At the same time, though, she couldn't help but feel worried for it. It obviously had numerous injuries, both from the blue dragons and her own group, of which Feather felt extremely guilty. If it weren't for Sora's reminder that Pix and Lye were waiting for her, the girl would have flown off to help the wyvern heal. After being assured that she'd be able to tend to the wyvern as soon as she reported back her mission, the girl glided down towards where her two friends were standing.

"Well," she asked as Sora returned to his normal, white form, "I think we can call the mission a success?". There goal had been to stop the attacks, not to kill the wyvern; in the siren's point of view, that was exactly what they had accomplished.

Feather didn't respond to Pix's questions. While she had heard them, she knew that she was too far away for a normal human to have been able to hear it. As a result, she pretended to have not heard it.

His explanations are unclear, and the reason for obtaining the talent is bogus.

Besides, no one gave you authority in this thread, did they?

Voiding part of this too. I don't approve of the ability to be able to commune with animals being latched onto the summoning. It's ridiculous. Serious abuse could be had there.

That's fine, but she'll have to train to be able to talk to the animal.
