Hinote Tosatsu Silencematters Hinote Tosatsu Silencematters (IS ANYONE ELSE GOING TO POST!) Yours is actually one of the most relevant posts right now, since I kinda forgot to skim the recent moves and didn't notice you trying to pull him down. So, your reaction to Yasa showing up is of near equal importance to Greg's. Same with Kage since she's at the bandit's feet. in your post you were talking to the bandit, by bandit do you mean the guy greg was controlling? Of course. He's the only bandit not unconscious on the floor. Sorry, your post was just slightly confusing. I don't know how to have Hiniko react when she is underground though, not without my last post being irrelevant

I don't know how to have Hiniko react when she is underground though, not without my last post being irrelevant Unfortunately since I missed your last post, my action did kinda make it irrelevant, as it'd completely mess up what I'm trying to do to end this faster for you. Maybe you could just have her grabbing the guy's ankles, but notice either Yasashii or Kage, or both, and stop? Cause even if Yasa didn't show up, pulling him down at this point puts Kage's RPC in danger while he's going down. (Oh, and, you have to have the inner decapitation technique to pull people down too. You might already, but I'm just letting you know just in case.) Considering though, that you're able to be aware enough of the surface to know where to grab somebody from, you should also be able to notice and react to a new person showing up. And, anymore OOC here and Greg will bite my head off. So, anything else to say should move to the chatroom.

Naiten, in her focus on dodging any attacks, did not notice the formally dressed man until her knees had hit the ground as she dodged the haymaker, at which point the girl saw the dress pants right besides the dirtier pants of the bandit. the girl thought in confusion as she jerked her head up to see the rest of the stranger's body just as he stopped and gave his threat. In that moment of shock, several ideas ran simultaneously through Naiten's head, ranging from shouting at the stranger to get out to shoving the stranger out of the way to wondering if maybe this stranger was more than he seemed. However, as always, the girl was reserved and her shock lasted only for a moment before she refocused on watching out from any attacks from the head thief. That is, of course, if she hadn't already suffered a blow during the short moment of confusion that she had.

Hiniko was caught off by the sudden civilian stepping in. Instead of going with her expected plan, she jumped out of the ground and held a kunai to the bandits throat as well. She had a look in her eyes that she she wasn't going to hesitate to kill him if she needed to. She glared at the bandit with a look daring him to move. Her own weapon pressed against his throat.
"I thank you for you help, but this is no place for a civilian. It's our mission, and while I admire your confidence, I wouldn't want you to get hurt." Her voice was far from playing and her whole character seemed to have changed. She wasn't light and nice anymore. She had every intentions of killing this guy if he moved to hurt the man behind him or any of the others. She was tired of this and had things to do. As well as a particular person to see. She was silent waiting for whatever happened next.

Bloody, raw, and with none of his attacks working, the man almost did not notice the hand that was firmly placed on his shoulder, by none other than a third party. The last thing he wanted was another opponent to have to fight. As the girl rose from the ground to place the kunai against his throat, the man pushed her wrist to the side, simultaneously with using his other hand to launch an open-hand strike at the mysterious hand on his shoulder, not even paying attention to the other kunoichi anymore.

Yasashii sighed, catching the man's attack with his free hand as if he were a mere child that needed to be reprimanded. Stepping slightly to the side, Yasashii took advantage of the slight momentum the bandit had built up in his ill advised attack and yanked him further along, pulling the man off balance before giving him a strong shove to send him stumbling off the road, and away from the genin and their client. He didn't want them close to him for what was going to happen next. Any further action the bandit may have tried to take would be brutally cancelled out in the next instant, as the unfortunate man erupted in an explosion originating from his shoulder where the civilian had grabbed him. When the smoke cleared, it would doubtless be a gruesome sight, even for a ninja, especially so for young genin such as these. Quite honestly Yasashii would have rather used a more subtle method of disposing of the man, but ironic as it was, the flashy explosion had the simplest explanation if he was questioned about how he had done it. In this ninja world, the roads were never safe. But, not everyone could afford to hire ninja every time they went for a walk, so, many civilians of the various countries had found ways to obtain such things as explosive tags. An unpleasant surprise for any bandit who tried to rob them. Turning back towards the ninja before the smoke cleared, he glanced between them quickly, skimming visually for any signs of injury. There wasn't really much he could if they were injured, but old habits died hard. Especially when one's nephew was also starting out into this new life. Making sure the genin of the village were fully intact had long since been one of Yasashii's self imposed tasks. But, genin were always curious. It would only be moments before their little minds were whirring to understand just what had happened just now. ~ [Chakra: 117/125]

Before Naiten had a chance to react, the bandit had exploded. However, while her reflexes might have been a bit slow, her vision was not and the girl noticed clearly that the explosion had occurred on the bandit's shoulder. The blood and gore sent a shiver down the girl's spine as she hastily closed her eyes to block out the picture. This scene, it reminded her of something that had happened not too long ago, something that she most definitely did not want to recall. With an effort, the girl sought something to distract her, and then was suddenly reminded of the two allies that had been injured during the fight. Not wanting to draw any attention to herself, Naiten didn't bother to ask the stranger who he was. She could tell that he was no civilian despite the way he dressed. For one, no ordinary civilian would travel as he was dressed (of course, no ordinary ninja would either so there wasn't much support in that). For another, that man seemed to have no qualms against entering the fight, something that Naiten was fairly certain most ordinary citizen didn't do. Then there was that explosion; although, on second thought, it could have been a simple tag. Lastly, there was the lack of any sweat on the man. Even though she was walking, Naiten had created a bit of sweat when she was traveling before encountering this man. However, the stranger did not seem to want to hurt them and, on the contrary, had helped them, so the girl did not bother him with unnecessary questions. Besides, she had no solid proof for him being either a citizen or a shinobi. Instead, she focused on the thing she had thought up first to distract herself, tending to Akai's and Suki's wounds. First, the girl performed standard medical procedures and cleansed herself with Kiyomaru. Then she knelt beside Akai, since she had been knocked unconscious longest, to see what she could do. She was tired, yes, and could physically feel her lack of chakra. However, Naiten went on with doing what she could do. She couldn't just leave her teammates lying out in the sun without medical treatment that she might be able to provide. First, Naiten followed standard procedures and diagnosed Akai with Shindan, a process that took several minutes. Luckily, there didn't seem much to be wrong with her. Luckily, the chuunin had landed sideways so the blood that had been seeping from her mouth (it had stopped by now) didn't choke the woman. The woman seemed to be suffering a slight concussion and some bleeding in her mouth caused by a couple of her teeth having been knocked loose. Luckily, that was it. As for the external wounds that were present, they were nothing more than a couple bruises from falling to the ground. Then, casting Kiyomaru once more to cleanse herself while also staggering a bit, Naiten walked over to Suki and then knelt besides her. Once more, she formed her hands to perform a diagnosis with the Shindan technique. As the girl felt the chakra drain out, she felt her shoulders sag with the lack of energy. Thanks to her exhaustion, this diagnosis took a couple seconds longer than the last one. This time, as before, there were no major problems. A slight concussion from the fall after having fainted by being attacked at the collarbone. The collarbone itself didn't seem broken. Although, the girl could tell that Suki was going to feel quite a bit of pain from it. Seeing how Suki was in no immediate danger, Naiten stood up. She could have probably massaged her with chakra to help relieve her pain, but the girl was too tired for it. Even her attempt to move backwards was cut short as the girl was forced by her exhaustion to kneel down after taking only a single step back. Reaching into an outside pouch on her shoulder bag, the girl quietly took out a somewhat squished piece of rice cake and began eating it to try and restore some of her energy. She knew that just eating some rice cake wouldn't be enough to fully restore her energy, but hopefully it'd take away the awful dizziness she was beginning to feel. Shindan (Diagnosis)Description: The first step in treatment is understanding the problem. With this skill a shinobi uses their hands to carefully probe a patient for problems. This technique is preformed by kneeling over a patient and slowly running both hands over their body, looking for signs of injury that may not be visible to the naked eye. It can detect things such as internal injury, improper heart rate, non-apparent bone fractures, poisoning, and disease. A ninja of higher rank has learned to use this technique to perform a rudimentary examination of a body to determine cause and time of death. A Genin using this skill takes several minutes of work to determine the nature of a problem, a Chuunin takes less than a minute and a Jounin requires only a few seconds. Kiyomaru (Cleanse)Description: It is not always possible for a medical nin to practice basic hand washing and other procedures. This technique has the effect of instantly removing bacteria, dirt, blood, and other contaminants from the user’s hands, lower arms, and face. It also insures that any breath that comes from the user’s body will be free of any bacteria or infectious disease. This technique can also be used to clean the wounds of others in order to prevent infection from bacteria. It the event that the medical nin is using this technique to prevent infection of an injury that has been inflicted upon them, it is used as if the shinobi were using it on somebody else. When the smoke cleared, the egnimatic man was still in the same spot he had been before...........at least, the bottom half of him. The rest was splattered against some trees, rolling around in the grass, making a meal for some hungry bugs, etc.
However, a most curious thing happened after the smoke cleared: the man's beautiful cloak, the one he had used to absorb the fire earlier, wafted down from up high, still intact aside from some small puncture holes. As the cloak came to rest on the ground, the color seemed to begin to seep out of it- and indeed, thats exactly what was happening. The brilliant red was replaced by a dingy grey as the cloak lost its luster, becoming just a plain, dirty cloak as it had once been. As a stray gust of wind blew it away, the three would see something had formed under the cloak: A perfectly cut ruby, large as a baseball. Upon closer inspection, one would notice a flickering within the center of the ruby, caused by what seemed to be a live flame, flickering within the gem's core. For now, the gem lay motionless, its potential wasted as it sat upon the ground.
(Take the gem? Don't take it? Destroy it? Who will choose, and what will your choice be?)

(OOC: Well, I wanted someone else to post but since nobody is....)
Naiten finished off her ricecake and took a sip from her water jug. She felt ready to continue travelling now. Although, another fight might be too much for her. Looking at the Akai and Suki, the girl saw that they were still unconscious, As the girl prepared to rise, a movement caught her eyes. It was simply the red cloak fluttering off to another spot. However, as mundane as the image seemed at first, it soon began to get interesting. All of a sudden, the cloak lost its red luster and where it had been, there was now a brilliant red jewel, one that looked like a ruby; although, Nai didn't have any experience with jewelry to be able to tell. Cautiously, the girl crawled to it and inspected it from a closer perspective. Now that she was up close, she could see that this jewel was more than met the eyes. There seemed to be some kind of live, flickering flame in the center. Nai worried to herself as she quickly glanced around for any instructions or movements that would help her figure out how to proceed. There were none. Not knowing what else to do, the girl gently reached out and prodded it. If still nothing happened, then she would grasp it firmly in her hands and then stand up while gazing at it.

As the girl touched the gem, she would begin to feel a sudden warmness envelop her body, the power of the fire gem being released within her. However, that is all that happened. Upon finding no traces of inner fire within the girl, the gem was unable to let her feel its power of fire enhancement. Instead, the gem lay as it was, providing its natural warmth.
(By inner fire, I mean the Katon element, which Naiten does not possess. Don't think that inner fire refers to something special that only certain RPCs can have.)

(OOC: Right, well then, time to attract someone who does rp a fire user 3nodding .) Naiten clenched the red jewel and felt a warmth pass through her. However, that was all that happened. Naiten thought to herself, The girl looked at the unconscious chuunin and genin. Then placed the jewel in the hand person she was closest to, Suki. Hoping she wasn't disturbing anything, the girl watched to see the jewel's reaction.

Kai made a huge yawn as she walked along the path from Iwagakure's earth country to this land of fire. These herbs would not be easy to find, the fire country had many different breeds of flowers and this was a bit of a uncommon one. A flower with beautiful colors of sky blue and a elegant pink color. Oh how she hated this pink color. Maybe she could dye her hair. Yes, that would be perfect. "I'm not going blonde....nor brunette. ugh I'll decide later." She grumbled in aggravation, so close to Konoha and she couldn't enter because it was not part of her mission and her kage already called her a child pervert in her own words. She missed the little child and heard rumors that he had some troubles with her cousin the hokage before he disappeared. If she ever saw Matsuya again she would punch him straight in the damn nose. Maybe she should start searching on the road before going to other places in Leaf country.[1/10]
Jumping over a bush by the side of the road she stepped into the forest outline. "It has to be somewhere!" She barrel rolled through bushes and into rivers(accident), streams, and trees. This plant was evading her as she popped out of the bushes covered in either mud, sticks, leaves or grass. Possibly all of the above. Opening up her bag she took the book out and read it. "Of course! I'll check by water!" She had just skimmed through the book and stuffed it away. Standing up she slung the bag over her shouler and ran off to Valley of the End.[2/10] [/exit]

Nomiya YasashiiKariko | Alcohol | BartenderSupport { Information } Contact~ Yasashii's eyes followed the apparent medic as she checked her teammates over, resisting the urge to nod his approval of the action. With kids so young becoming ninja, it was rare to find one who was actually serious about becoming a medic, much less taking the duty seriously. The very fact she had pretty much ignored him though, he wasn't sure about that. It was obvious enough why though. She was wary of him. It showed in the very way she had looked at him, the few times she actually did. He almost wished she would question him, and not just try to ignore his presence. A possible threat should be taken care of even before the health of your allies, unless they were in critical condition, which they obviously weren't. And then she started to eat a rice cake... It was enough to almost bring him to laughter as she seemed to have completely forgotten his very presence. Soon enough though, the girl seemed to have her attention drawn towards the corpse. Not something he had quite expected, but his eyes followed hers, and widened slightly at what he saw. The color drained from a rather rich looking cloak, forming into the the most beautiful red gem he had ever seen. A gem that even from here, he could feel an aura of power coming off of. Maybe it was just having seen it form rather than an actual physical manifestation, but it was still there. The man's eyebrows rose slightly as the girl seemed to notice something about the gem and immediately took it to her unconscious teammate. He wasn't sure why, but she seemed to be expecting something from it as a result. Hopefully nothing dangerous, as that would raise a whole lot of unusual questions... Before anything could be seen of what the gem did though, the team's client approached the girl, and gem. Unlike his genin companion, the man seemed to be keeping one eye on Yasashii the whole time, though he himself hadn't paid much attention to the other man. Now though, he saw something odd in the man's eyes. Recognition. The man knew what that gem was, and if the look deeper in his eyes said anything, he wanted it too. That appearance suddenly vanished though as Aki bent down next to the girl, still looking at the gem, but with his feelings well hidden behind a mask of simple curiosity. A mask too good in Yasashii's opinion, for any normal civilian to where. Even his own wasn't half as good. "What do you suppose it is?" was Aki's simple question to the girl, asked as he set his sword case gently down beside him. Yasashii's eyes suddenly widened, finally recognizing that man. "Aki Yan..." he breathed out so quietly that it would be untracable, lost to the ever so weak breeze in the area before it hardly passed his lips. Aki however, stiffened in the next instant, as if he had heard. Yes, there was no doubt it was him. The sword case, and the voice he recognized even now, after so many years, the insanely skilled mask over his emotions and feelings, and even the ungodly senses. It was him. Stepping forward, Yasashii made his presence known once more, noting with some worry that Aki had his hands on his sword case once more. "Girl, take your teammates and go home. Whatever mission you have taken for this man is not one you wish to complete." It was breaking his cover completely, it was breaking every rule he had drilled into him, and had himself drilled into those he taught for all the years he had worked as a ninja, but he didn't care. Not if he could stop what would soon happen if he didn't. ~ [Chakra: 117/125]

Naiten, who's back was turned to Aki didn't have the chance to notice the look that the butler-like shinobi had. However, there was one suspicious action she had definitely caught, the dropping of the sword case. Even if it was gently, the sword had seemed like such a valuable item, valuable enough that Aki had hired a group of ninja, even if they were just genin, to protect him as he delivered it; dropping it seemed completely out of character. Apparently, something had attracted the client even more and the only possible item that could have created such attention was the gem Nai was holding. Just as she began thinking up reasons for the sudden change, the girl caught another action that solidified her fears. Aki had frozen, as if someone had said something he didn't want; although, Naiten had heard nothing. When he picked up his sword, the girl had the distinct feeling that it was about to be used. By this point, Naiten had already grabbed the gem from Suki's hand and stood up quietly, struggling a bit as she tried to hold up the red-haired girl. The series of actions looked as if the girl was simply getting ready to continue travelling. No trace of suspicion was on her face. At least, Nai did her best to make sure there wasn't a trace of suspicion. After she had steadied herself somewhat, the kunoichi took several step backwards as if to give herself enough room to continue on forwards, Aki was too close for her to have gone forwards even if she had wanted to.
After a step or two was taken, the butler-like shinobi issued his warning. Naiten was never one for disobeying the orders of her superior and by abandoning the mission (as the stranger suggested) she would be doing just that. However, at the same time, she didn't have a death wish and the girl could already guess that Aki was dangerous.
There was one problem, though. She could barely walk while supporting Suki much less run if she needed to make an escape. Still, though, she did what she could, backing up cautiously while keeping a wary eye on Aki. However, that didn't mean she trusted the tuxedo ninja completely and she kept a wary eye on him as well. There was always the possibility that he was the one who wished to attack them for whatever reason, and that Aki's reactions were in no way "evil." There was nothing wrong with trying to appear weaker than one really is. In short, the girl didn't really know who to trust or what to do.
