(Woah totally passed that one.)
Yua moved as fast as she could avoiding the sentries and doing her best not to get spotted she did not want to be wrapped up by that rope again it was not a comfortable feeling, Yua smirked as she continued to avoid the creepy dummies and their traps until she reached the final room where she saw the destroyed Target and the exit to the exam. She smiled as she saw it she was ready to leave the swamp and have dinner with Hatsuma and Yua, a free dinner at that it was going to be a good night, weather they passed or failed Yua was going to have fun. She smiled as she waited for Hatsuma and Oasis to show up so the three of them could all leave together, that was one thing Yua could take with her out of these exams she now had friends from another country.

Aya ensured she was out of the way as Jin and Fuyu crossed the vines, over all getting over them wasn't a problem getting past them with touching the thorns was the hard part, the vines only covered like three, maybe three and a half meters of ground, so it wasn't anything too great to jump, but making the entire thing was a little long, so to get across one would need to land in the vines at least once, and bounce over to the remainder. Even a basic leap would get the person close enough to pull them over to the same side as her, without placing herself in too much danger, Aya watched as Fuyu went next. As Fuyu made it across she noticed, he hadn't made it the full way across, mot right the way across but fair enough, for her to be able to rescue him, from the vines. "Fuyu just a wait a mintue I'll try and get you, Jin you just get ready to jump across ok, once I've moved Fuyu". Aya called out to Jin, as she looked across the vines to him him, Aya moved to Fuyu and looked at how he was placed, tried to release some bugs to eat at the venom that had been released into him, she however was unable, she had forgot to let her bugs procreate after releasing so many before to get the dog. ||OOC|| Using Feeding Insect to eat the poison, by eating the stamina and chakra off the infected area. Aya had an idea on how to deal with the poison from the thorns, it was to let her bug feed on the person infected, Aya had no medical items or jutsu, but she had heard that the bugs of the Aburame clan, could remove poisons, her idea was to let her bugs feed on his stamina and chakra, of the area's where Fuyu had been hit by the thorns and hope it would work. Aya had also planned give some basic first aid that she knew, just in case her bugs were a total failure at this task. Once Aya had pulled Fuyu from the vines, she moved herself and Fuyu a little out of the way and kneed next to him, closer her eyes as she began to slowed her breathing, slowly she sacrificed chakra to the insects that lived within her, she gave them her chakra to, to increase the regeneration rate of her bug, letting them repopulate after all the bugs she had used, tracking and feeding on the dog before hand. Aya could feel the bugs slowly begin to repopulate her her body, after a little while Aya gained enough bugs to try her plan out, she however let her bugs gain a little more in their number just in case Jin needed some help as well, once he tried to cross the vines a little later. Once she was happy about the number of bugs she had, Aya looked at Fuyu, and began to look over him, trying too find out where the thorns or thorn had gotten him, she notice a small scratch near the bottom of hit pants let, where a thorn had manage to cut open and piece the skin a little deeply. the thorn had broken off, she wasn't able to find any others, a small amount was now suck in his skin, it was possible to see a little bit on how the venom, was spreading from the point of entry, Aya first looking at the little bit of thorn, and wash the area with a little water from one4 of her bottles before removing the thorn. "Ok Fuyu if, you can hear me this shouldn't hurt, I am not really sure, I've never tried this". Aya said, after taking out the thorn, not even sure if Fuyu was about to hear her speak at the moment, she placed one of her hands over the area where the thorn had been, she took a deep breath and released some bugs out onto the area, as she did the bug began to eat away at the area, feeding on a small amounts of Fuyu's Chakra and Stamina from the area, Aya hope was that with the stamina and chakra the poison was being eaten too. Aya looked at the wound as it cleared up a little, she smiled a bit but it would be a little while before she was sure that Fuyu was cured, or if it was just how the venom made it's progression though the body, of it's victim looking bad to start with, and then looking better before doing the real damage, to on4es body or mind. ||OOC|| Using Feeding Insect to eat the poison, by eating the stamina and chakra off the infected area. Ka’rinth sighed softly as he stretched and took a final look around, it did not seem that his team mates were in the area and damned the kunoichi for causing it but now he was curious just what was going to happen next. If there was any driving force in his life it was curiosity and once disturbed it was not something he could put in check. He paced back and forth briefly before giving up the idea of even pretending to delay longer before he pivoted smoothly on his left foot and stepped into the swamp. Though he would not actually step into it, his feet instead walked over rock, mud, and water as though all were solid states that were one and the same to the extent that the mud was not depressed by his passing nor did the water ripple. It was one of his favored techniques done by manipulating water molecules to bind to his feet and move with them allowing him to actually walk on air though he usually settled for a few millimeters above whatever served as the ground at the time. As he walked he considered the direction he had seen the dog run and casually summoned a spider like creature that was only slightly bigger than he himself was and had a whispered conversation with it.
Okay look, I need you to help me find this dog and catch it. You aren’t allowed to eat it, but if you help me with this I’ll try to feed you someone in the near future and we both know my definition and that I’m good for it okay? A soft whispered voice that flowed like silk responded after a few minutes, Does this include the usual clause about who I get to eat if you don’t uphold your end? A nod from Ka’rinth was all that was required before the spider turned and scrambled off moving at a surprising speed to a tree and up it before moving on. Arachne was a difficult summon to work with at times because summoning her meant negotiations about what the exchange was and in a very real sense putting his life on the line but she was useful for subtle work including capturing and binding targets. She had only been gone for a few minutes when a slight tug on his right hand where the thinnest of spider silk could be seen led him to where she was pressed against a tree nearly a half mile away with the dog standing on three legs as the fourth was lifted to take a step but it seemed unseeing. Ka’rinth moved to it and took it’s map before nodding to Arachne to release her Genjutsu and allowing her to go ahead and disappear as the dog whimpered and ran the moment it’s senses returned to normal. Ka’rinth would shake his head softly before opening the scroll to see just what was on it though he did this with chakra strings from a slight distance in case the scroll was booby trapped.

((Guess that rolls over to map 5 then.))
Ka’rinth was happy to see that there was no trap on the scroll and found that it was only a map of a base and instructions that he was required to infiltrate the base and proceed to assassinate a dummy located there. He smiled slightly as he cracked his knuckles and began walking forward through the swamp, the exact location wasn’t given on the map but there did seem to be a number of land marks set around the edges so his first task was clearly to do reconnaissance to locate the base and reach it before studying it and preparing to infiltrate it. He checked his threaded needles in his sleeves and took a breath to get an idea of how his chakra was doing. It was easy to tell on a moments reflection that Arachne had barely tapped his reserves when he summoned her and not even her pulling chakra from him for her genjutsu had really caused much of a dent. However as he was the type of person that preferred to always be in the best shape possible when he was heading into something he lacked details on he decided to alter his breathing and take a few minutes to recover his chakra through meditation to insure that he was in optimal condition before he began searching for the base. After all the girl that had made him curious was in the same swamp and despite her words he didn’t trust that there would be no surprises left by her and just from seeing her electric needles manipulating the dog he was not inclined to assume she would play nicely.
Ka’rinth new that he had impressive stamina and chakra reserves even outside of what could happen if his demon awakened but he was not so fool hardy as to believe there was no one in the world with more than he or better skills, or for that matter a stronger demon. As such he preferred to exercise caution and treat even minor exercises as though a mistake could be fatal to him. As he inhaled slowly he felt his chakra reserves filling once more and nodded as he opened his eyes and focused on what lay before him. He needed to quickly search the forest to make up for time lost waiting on his assigned team, but he also needed to do it as effectively as possible which suggested sending his two puppets to search instead of going himself was probably the best idea. With a soft hiss he leapt up to a tree branch and landed lightly before turning and extending both hands as he formed a number of seals before opening two scrolls and cutting the tip of his left index finger to mark them with blood as he summoned forth his two favorite puppets and let them drop to the ground as he controlled them with chakra threads from each hand and had them land lightly before sending them off in search of the base. He was able to easily see what they passed though it was a bit of a headache to perceive both at once as it took concentration to have each eye show him something without the normal overlap of images that vision provided and as such he did not have them move at full speed but instead settled for a double speed march as they went of in a V shape from his location. He had a search grind in mind and would have them cross over at an appropriate time using two different angles to allow him to get a view of as much of the forest as fast as possible. Searching was something he was good at and if it wasn’t for the set up for the test he would use his plant to help him as he had in the first test.
25
With a deep breath Ka’rinth crouched as he began seemingly talking to himself while reviewing the landmarks he had memorized from the map. There were two trees on the outskirts that had been drawn in a manner that suggested a unique shape, beyond that was a symbol that suggested a bog along one side and extending towards the bottom. If the map was drawn with the usual orientation of north, south, east, and west then by sending the puppets at angles he should be able to locate the bog or trees with relative ease. Facts and strategies always seemed so clear when he worked alone but the extra variables added by team mates often caused him to get distracted or annoyed as so few people seemed to appreciate a good plan of attack. He enjoyed such things and as such lay traps with his techniques and worked to lead one into the other so that when he was in a situation where he had to fight he couldn’t help but fight in an aggressive if remote manner that kept his target on the defensive and prevented them from even locating him in many cases. He was unsure what he would do in a situation where he started out directly facing an opponent but he suspected the part of him that whispered in the voice of the demon would cause him to launch an onslaught of attacks in an effort to crush his opponent or drive them away so that he could once more adopt his preferred tactical approach. His eyes were calm as he paused and had one of his puppets approach a tree more closely before shaking his head and having both move on once more. It was not that the tree didn’t match it was that the positioning was wrong and none of the other land marks were present suggesting that this was not what he was looking for though he might be on the right track. He paused for a moment to look from his actual eyes and plotting a course briefly in his mind dashed through the trees moving from branch to branch while barely giving them time to shift under his weight until he had covered nearly three hundred yards at which point he once more paused and focused on controlling the puppets and by extension seeing from their perspectives. Sometimes at certain distances or after passing by a certain amount of obstacles the strings got harder to control so he preferred to close the distance at regular intervals in situations like this where he was unsure of how far he would be searching. He shifted his weight as he assessed the surroundings of both puppets and began moving once more skillfully manipulating the chakra threads to avoid tangles or direct connections that could lead the chakra sensitive directly to his location. He smiled as he began having them curve their paths one high to cover more ground and the other low to cover the dead space between their original trajectories.
46
As the puppets doubled back and overlapped the areas they had been Ka’rinth couldn’t help but wish he’d finished some of his newer puppets before coming here. On the other hand he had not expected his interest to be peaked by anyone present so it had seemed a safe bet at the time. Much better to finish them properly than to rush them and make mistakes that could end up being lethal. He shifted his weight slightly and his fingers twitched as he turned on puppet and moments later had both move to the same area as he located the first land mark that he had been searching for. With a slight nod to himself he set the puppets up at points fifteen meters from one another facing the land marks and shook his head slightly as he cleared his vision taking a careful minute to insure that he had adapted to his natural binocular vision before dashing forward through the tree tops towards the area the puppets had found. He would observe for a few minutes once he arrived and have the puppets back track to insure he was not going to be attacked or disturbed before he moved to locate the physical base. Right now he was at the bottom of the map in theory but he was not actually ready to step out on it fully until he knew he could devote his full attention to it. As he shot through the trees he contrived to make himself not care about what was next but the fact of the matter a decent challenge was before him beyond the test itself so there was no point in pretending to be anything other than the level he was though he was still taking pains to hide his full abilities such as his blood lines and the extent of his abilities he was not hiding the fact that he was a tactical thinker or that he was a puppeteer with a small summon at his disposal. After all such abilities were fairly common and so long as he did not reveal the types of jutsu he was capable of using he suspected most would still underestimate him.
60
As Ka’rinth neared the point where he was planning to land a distance from his puppets he checked the vines of his vampiric chakra plant carefully, it wasn’t his imagination several of the larger vines were swaying faintly suggesting that he was not the only monster of sorts in the general area. Yet he was not able to fully analyze it simply because he usually allowed it to grow accustomed to his own chakra so it would not point at him at all. That way he would not be distracted wandering if someone was behind him or not. With a smile he nodded at the vines and with a twitch of his free hand sent his puppets to briefly scout his back trail looking for any signs of someone out of place or rather in this place. As they did so he closed his left eye and focused instead on the right which flickered over the surroundings taking in the terrain of the area and general feeling of the slopes and gradients present. He also looked at the trees and after a moment their bases to get an idea of which were well rooted in the bog like terrain and which would easily shift or fall should weight rest on them. As his puppets finished their foray along his back trail he turned his full attention to what was in front of him before dropping the link to his puppets as the returned to his normal field of vision and focused his sight on the area before him.
70
The classic approach would be to move forward cautiously but as a puppeteer he was interested only in the most practical approach, he would simply send a puppet in and let them be the victim of any traps he was unable to spot and avoid naturally. That way he could at the very least complete the job in the manner he would in a real assassination. His eyes were calm as he once again closed the left and after a moment chose both of his puppets to move forward with one leading the other by a respectable amount as he took his card deck from within his cloak and placed it on his sniper puppet. The two were made to be compatible but he preferred to not use the cards save as a last resort. Once the cards were loaded properly into the puppet he had them march forward as he stood in the tree with his fingers trembling slightly as he manipulated the puppets and his left eye closed as the right kept a literal eye on his surroundings. Letting himself get ambushed at this stage would after all be foolish to say the least and fatal to say the most. After all in his view few things were ever worse than dying, that was sort of game over and no chance for another match. With a slight smile he had his puppets begin tracking towards the base that he thought he could just spot through the bends in the trees and the darkness of the surroundings overall.
80
The first step would be to get the puppets in sight of the base carefully without them being seen, then he would need to have them circle the base to get a full idea of what was within including what was and was not on the map before sending them forward to infiltrate it and complete the mission. For now he had both move as one approaching where he believed the base to be from an oblique angle searching for the bog that covered part of it as that would likely be the best side to approach from since the puppets were carefully water proofed and could pass through the swamp without worrying about disease or leeches and the like. The advantages to puppets were many but so few bothered to master them that most could never be demonstrated because people didn’t think of them in the right context. His eye flickered each direction before he settled down with his color change cloak and blended in with the tree so that he could remain in relative safety while his puppets did his dirty work. They had reached the bog and were now slipping through the murky waters slowly to avoid causing ripples as the approached the base from what he was thinking of as the back door. Were it Ka’rinth there would be all types of nasty surprises in a bog like that but that was simply one more reason to use puppets because in his mind everyone in the world was just as vicious and maliciously creative as he himself was so why give them a chance to prove it?
90
Though it seemed fortunate that the types of traps that Ka’rinth would have placed were not present there were a number of sufficiently disgusting bog habitants that he was sure few would go in personally. As the puppets emerged from the water he found that he was correct about having found the camp and the puppets moved softly to use what trees were present as cover as they gave him a sufficient view of the camp to give him a basic idea of the approach needed and just how accurate the map he had was. With a slight frown he shifted his attention to the right and noted that there seemed to be a wall that could be used for defense but would block the view of the puppets approaching from anyone inside the base. Yet again Ka’rinth expected a trap and was happy to send his sniper puppet first while the ant lion stayed a distance behind ready to move should the coast prove to be clear. He sighed as he saw through the puppet that the ground was covered in green and brown which suggested it would be easy to move stealthily along the wall and to the base. With a slight shrug Ka’rinth had the sniper puppet begin moving forward carefully clinging to the wall while making sure to not allow the wood of the puppet to scrape the stone as it made it’s way towards the physical base using the wall as cover.

Quite suddenly to Ka’rinth’s surprise the vines began to writhe and shift revealing purple thorns as they snapped upwards and lashed out towards the puppet as through trying to grab it. He quickly manipulated the strings causing his puppet to dash along the wall jumping agilely and flipping along the wall before skimming above the ground and rolling to the side just out of reach of the vines. Ka’rinth shifted gears for a moment as one of the vines was stretching out to it’s limits and had the puppet cut off the end and place it to the side as he carefully manipulated his ant lion puppet around the vines and to the side of the sniper puppet. This was done using the expedient method of chakra string to lift it into the air and set it down where he wanted much as individual parts of a crow were often manipulated. With a sigh he had the ant lion open it’s chest and the clipping of the vine placed inside before the two puppets once more began sneaking towards the base slipping through the trees stealthily. He hoped there had not been too much commotion from their passing but for now he would need to get in closer to the base to see what defenses the actual structure would have. He smiled slightly as he controlled his puppets moving them carefully and furtively to give the impressions they were actual people to anyone watching.
10
It was one of the charms of puppetry to give the impression that what was seen was something different than it truly was but it was a lost art to be subtle with the puppets. So many simply hid and had puppets fight like puppets instead of sowing confusion between where the puppet and puppeteer were as well as which was capable of what. To him it was like the ultimate art to craft a puppet and convince others it was a man or that the man was the puppet. He paused as he had the puppets turn to give him a better view of the surroundings and once he was sure there was no one watching had them begin to creep forward once again. Slipping along the ground like shadows as they flowed between the trees, he wanted to be very careful just to avoid more traps especially as any given trap could double as an alarm. He looked outward and hearing a soft scrape near his actual body froze before making the puppets kneel next to each other as though conferring about what to do next. He turned his head ever so slightly as his left eye opened and both locked on to what had made the noise. It was a dog below running past the tree and as it did so several genin moved through the trees in it’s wake. He was still as they approached and did not move even as one landed next to him before jumping to the next tree and thankfully headed away from both he and the base he was in the process of raiding. With an exhalation that was so soft it could not be heard he scanned the area once more slowly, careful to take into account where he would lurk if he wanted to observe without being seen before turning his attention back to his puppets and reconnecting to them via chakra threads as he began manipulating them once again. He did not close either eye just yet though as he wanted to be sure the last group was well away before he split his attention again and as such created a little play in his mind for what was happening between the puppets for the enjoyment of those that might observe his art.
25
His fingers danced minutely as he told the tale, the first was cocking their head to the side ever so slightly to indicate they were listening to the second while the second motioned slightly to the camp and then the right. The first’s head shifted as they listened suggesting that their eyes were darting around them suspiciously and that at any moment they might be making their way into a fatal trap. The drama built as the second pointed insistently to the right but the first shook their head firmly indicating that they should continue straight without further detours. His lips twitched as he played through the scenario and added a back and forth dialog in his head before the second at a culmination of pleading body language with the first took in the former’s stern body language and hung their head in silent acceptance that they would continue forward. At this point he softened the body language of the first as though happy for the understanding of the second and sent both forward carefully alternating their movements so that each could cover the other without worrying about who was right or wrong. With a smile he finished the play in his head and closed his left eye once more as he got back to work again and moved his puppets deeper into the camp. He needed to reach the base quickly and the best way to do that was using his puppets efficiently and in such a way that they could trigger traps where needed without actually putting him in a position to fall prey to them. He would study the vine later but for now they were advancing methodically which was what he intended from the start. He shifted slightly so that one began to move further ahead of the other and the other began moving through the tracks of the first as though having deemed them to be safe while both kept their heads turning to indicate they were scanning the surroundings and seeking to avoid trouble any way they could. It was fun manipulating puppets and he imagined kage’s manipulated people in much the same way.
40
With a sigh he continued advancing the puppets careful not to let them end up too far apart as he had the second hurry slightly to catch up with the first only to trigger some sort of trap where kunai shot out from the trees and seemed to strike the puppets yet the impression he had was not of deadly accuracy but more of generally aiming. Just as a precaution he had both shoot up into the air using his strings and tree limbs as fulcrums he lifted them out of the path of the kunai which hit the ground at which point he noticed that there were tags as well. Yet they did not seem to be exploding tags and as such he had his puppets drop to the ground to one side and pick up the nearest kunai before placing it in a pouch for study later. It never hurt to be careful and make sure that a good trap could be duplicated. It was amazing some of the things that one could reverse engineer so long as they had some samples of it. There was a very faint haze in the air from the other tags suggesting something like a perfume or the like might be wafting in the air. Fortunately scents didn’t effect puppets but just to insure it was nothing like an acid he had them quickly leave the area and move closer to the base. They were much closer now and he was sure that soon there would be if not more traps lookouts at the very least.
50
((Check vs scent tags: 1200 (AGI X2) vs 250 = 99% chance. Also ignore my numbers, I'll recount them at home and put the actual instead of just what word showed me. I'm doing a lot more lines than I thought.))

Notwen watched the antics of his team mates. It was a good thing that he had passed through the vines because if not, they would have ended up failing the mission. Notwen gazed over at Yuki. The Yamanaka seemed to have feelings of extreme kinship to Hisaki, because the boy had not ceased trying to free the Hyuuga from the vines. Notwen admired these efforts. They reminded him of all the battles he'd had: Puppet Notwen, Vyrin, Fuyu, the blood-wielding girl, and the two white uniformed kids. No matter how much times he was hit, he kept getting back up to attack his enemy. He had gotten wiser after every fight, learning to use new strategies and fighting styles. But that was all in the past. Right now, his team mates were in danger of being held in some intense genjutsu. Hisaki had come to and was isolated by the thorned vines, while Yuki had been caught around the upper body. The thorns had cut into his shirt and pierced his skin. Notwen brought his gloved hand against his forehead and sighed. So much for a direct method, he thought, feeling something rub against his skin. He moved his hand to get a better look at the object. It was a silver bangle. " Oh yeah, i almost forgot about the relics that Kaala had given me. This one is Iairihatsu, the relic of wisdom." When he had first put it on, Notwen was filled with knowledge from some unknown source, which enabled him to be able to control his aura. " Maybe this relic will tell me the proper way to dispel the vines and the genjutsu." Notwen closed his eyes and focused his chakra into Iairihatsu. The relic began to glow with a light only visible to Notwen, who was transported to blank place in his mind. The surrounding area was completely black. Notwen walked around the recesses of his mind unable to see where he was going. He could see a small glow in the distance. The closer Notwen got to the source, the light began to split into different colors and take the shape of a sitting man. The light man laughed, making the light he was made of waver. " This place sure could use some light, don't you agree Notwen?" The long-haired blonde looked at the faceless apparition with a puzzled look. " Who are you, where am i, and how do you know my name?" he asked. The light man laughed again. He opened his eyes half way, crating the effect of a flash light. " That's right! We have not actually met before, well not like this anyway. I am Drow Sant' Elmo. In other words, I am your power." " My power?" asked Notwen, then he remembered the rush of energy that he felt upon putting on the relics. " See, there you go! While we chat, let me take care of your team mates." Before Notwen could react, the light man jumped into his body. The feeling was more intense than the euphoria he'd felt the last time. ((1210 vs 300 99%)) ((gonna remove the tag from Hatsuma, though Zavits can still decide how long to remain effected by the effect since we done did it wrong xD; oops >.>))
((26 lines)) Oasis watched with a grin as Yua zipped through the sentries line of sight and avoided detection. Oasis waited for Yua to make it all the way across safely. A few moments later Oasis nodded her head and put her hands together concentrating for a moment to move at a fair pace she took off zipping from side to side through the dummies she paused a few times behind them to make faces at the stupid things before zipping over to where her friends were waiting for her. “heh... see that wasn't so bad yea.” she states as she walked in through the door past Hatsuma. As she was passing Hatsuma however, something caught her attention, a strange aroma and a slip of white. She turned around and faced Hatsuma for a moment blinking. She then walked circles around Hatsuma until she located the tag stuck low on her back, she didn't know how it got there, or how long it had been there. Had Hatsuma been under the effect of this tag since her first run through the kunai? Oasis chuckled lightly as she found herself wondering what the effect of the tag was. “Oi, Hatsuma-tan ya know you got one of those taggies on your butt?” she states curiously as she remained crouched behind Hatsuma looking at the tag curiously. How funny that it would end up on her bottom even when she dodged the kunai so well. She poked the tag once, however not a second time as she thought better of that action and instead grabbed the tag by the bottom edge that was hanging off. She pinched the bottom of the tag and pulled up liberating it from her friend's backside. “Sooo.” she paused as she looked at the tag and sniffed it, she had a strange feeling she wanted to be near water, not just kinda wanted it but rather the level of obsession she felt only sometimes. Thats when it hit her, what the tag had to do to the victim. It obviously had to make them … THIRSTY! Yes that was it no doubt at all in her mind that it could be anything else other than that. “I know what it did now!” she states victoriously as she looked over at Yua a mischievous grin on her face, the best way to figure out if it was what she thought it was, was to stick it to another person and see how they reacted. She nodded at her most ingenious plan and approached Yua sneakily with tag in hand. Though she thought better of sticking it to her friend while still in the exams. “Okay, lets finish up here and leave!” she chimes happily as she hid the tag from sight.

"Reverse Astral Projection!" The voice of the light-man came from all around Notwen.
In the material world, Notwen's body became possessed and began moving on its own. Its eyes opened, revealing that they were now glowing. The light-man stretched out Notwen's arm and sent a blade of aura to slice at the vines. The blade went through the vines, not causing any visible physical damage at all, and kept slicing through the thorned tangles until there wasn't a section that was untouched. Notwen saw this through a type of peripheral vision.
"What was that about, Drow? Yuki is still trapped!" said Notwen angrily. Drow re-emerged from Notwen's astral body and tut-tutted. "Notwen, what was the first thing you learned about chakra?" he asked, sitting down again in the position he had been sitting in before. The long-haired blonde stood silent for a moment, then answered the question. "All things organic and inorganic have some chakra within them, it is their life force." Drow clapped his astral hands, making the light his body was made of shimmer. "Correct. What i did was sever their chakra circulatory system with a blade of aura, which is denser than chakra. Those vines are as good as dead. When you return to the physical world, you will see a change in the way those vines are behaving." Notwen took in this information and smiled. As soon as he was out of this place, he would try to help Yuki again, but then he thought about a more important question. "Drow, what is this place?" the light-man looked up at the long-haired blond. "This place, without shape or void, is your subconscious." Notwen stared at Drow with a puzzled look. "This is the place where all of your latent power comes from, where I reside." Notwen remembered Drow mention that he was the embodiment of his power, but he still didn't understand why he was in his subconscious. "But why am i here?" asked the genin, now becoming upset. Drow shook his head. "Maybe now isn't the time to discuss this, but as i said earlier, this place lacks a lot of things...." with that, the light-man released a burst of blinding light.
"Hey Drow!! Jeez, what a weird fellow... I'm back!" Notwen surveyed the situation and saw that while he was out of it, Hisaki had tried to help Yuki, but failed. Cracking his knuckles, Notwen began to form hand signs again. This time he was sure he could do it.

((seeing as the other scrolls were taken, I get the remaining one, being 2. Scroll 2: Medium Quality map to the second base. This maps gives a slightly more detailed description of how to get to the base as well as a few details about its structure. +5% to all checks inside the base )) ’I shall fight to honor the name of Kaiten, the name of my father…
The barking grew even louder as Erkamina went through the forest, the sound coming from nearby. She looked around, pointing at the source just ahead with a finger. "Stay low to the ground and stay quiet." She instructed, getting on all fours as she approached the dog, the fog less thick at ground level than higher up had been. She saw the scroll around its neck and grabbed the dog, opening the scroll to see a map to a base of sorts. "Looks like we're headed to this base." She said, tying the dog to a leash-like rope and pulling it behind her because that was part of the mission. She smirked and studied the map, it seemed to be descriptive enough, showing the pathways to the base. She traced their location at the edge of the scroll and the base was at the other side. "We're headed south-west." She said out loud as she deduced their exact location based on what she could see and based on what was on the map. It showed to rivers she hadn't seen while tracking the dog on the way to the base as well as some description of basic traps being in the base itself. So she was right, the final destination was booby trapped. "South-west should be that way..." She said, pointing south-west and turning while pulling the dog along as well.
… Soon I will show the world the worth of that name.’ Quote: Found dog, 9 lines to finding base out of 50. I will finish this later. ssAntonio -Editted- Added to the info post earlier =D So people can see I actually said it.

Ka’rinth nodded to himself as he had his puppets approach the camp, they were careful, or rather he was to keep their profiles hidden among the trees and as he spotted a figure behind one tree he frowned and debated how to proceed. He cracked his neck slowly as he opened his eye and took on his real vision before glancing at the surroundings and using the trees as a road of sorts to move closer to the base. He did not plan to follow the same path as his puppets in every sense but by using a few of his more convenient tricks involving chakra threads and manipulation of moisture he was able to easily reach a point near the vine trap where he then pulled himself through the air high above their reach and holding his breath darted past the place the kunai with tags had been. He paused in sight of his puppets and truly looked at what lay ahead, it was a series of trees leading to the target area that had a few shapes that did not belong. He took a slow breath and consulted his chakra plant only to see a few of the smaller roots shifting ever so slightly suggesting that he was not about to deal with actual people but either puppets or combat dummies. He shook his head as he stretched slightly and debated how best to proceed, as he had done so far he planned to lead with his puppets but an idea of what to expect was in order.

(As repayment for not being around. I'm going to try and get as much done asap. Probably make your characters hate mines more but at least we'll get this exam done faster. Hope I don't get caught?)
2(56[Agi] + 56[Mask] + 30[Zip Current]) vs 150 63%
Aya/Fuyu/Jin Stage 1 - 100 Stage 2 - 100 Stage 3 - 105 | Vines - 0/0, Tags - 50/50, Sentries - 50/50, Target 5/50
Jin nodded to Aya. Waiting for her to go through and then Fuyu to follow. Jin prepared himself by stretching and watching how Fuyu had gotten caught and needed Aya to save him. Taking a deep breath, he took a note. He didn't want to be a hinderance for his team. He needed to get through there.
Staring through the eye slots of his mask, Jin pulled free his spear from it's sling. Sucking in his breath, he readied his body for the sprint. Putting one foot in front of the other, Jin dashed into the litter of poisonous vines. Keeping the spear close to his body so to slash any nearing vines, Jin did his best to keep to the path that Aya had tracked out for them.

2(30[Int] + 10[ElectroField]) vs 450 13% Not likely to pass... And yet I do!
Jin gnashed his teeth in pain and shock. One of the vines had slashed his shoulder and cut through his uniform. A stream of blood ran down his arm softly. With a groan, Jin fell to his knees. His spear being used as a prop to stop him from toppling over completely. The world around him began to become fuzzy and strange. The shapes in it distorting into frightening figures. With a frightened yelp, Jin fell backwards as the vines lashed out at him. The tree that they were attached to chuckled madly and again it lashed out at him.
Frantically, Jin rolled away. And fearful he ran in the opposite direction. All the trees were the same, and his company was gone. He was alone and surrounded. Lash after lash, Jin dodged side to side. But eventually a poisoned whip tore through the skin of Jin's back and he screamed to the sky above for mercy. The awkward and horrible feeling of the pins stabbing into his flesh and muscle made his stream with blood. It was unreal how horrible it felt and with each passing moment the feeling worsened.
Grinding his teeth and screwing his eyes, Jin tried with all his might to ignore the pain. Jin prayed and wished for it to go away. And it did. The pain ebbed away and the feeling of the vines on him disappeared.
Opening his eyes, Jin looked around him. He was standing in the same spot where he had come across the vines. Jin had never moved, the poison had gotten in him and caused a hallucination. But it was over now. He had forced himself out of it. Taking in a breath and releasing it, Jin continued on. With a nod to his team mates, he hoisted his spear and moved on past them. He wouldn't make the same mistake twice.
