"None of us want to be here, at least I do not." he replied. It was the honest truth, being restrained to the Academy corridors did nothing for his mood. If anything this was the best social interaction he had ever had at this place. Normally he came and left, but it seemed as if they were not allowed to leave when they desired today. With a shrug he pointed at Sumu, "Him, yeah, I attempt to steal him every time I see Eiji but my parents do not allow animals in the shop or house." He smiled and watched the cat skitter across the floor. He had always wanted a pet but with the allergy his mother had, there was no way he was getting an animal.
A knife flew between the two of them in the moment Zhong had turned his body to face the group of people. The bouncing, big-breasted, and already annoying lunarian girl had slung a knife in their direction. At least that was what he had to guess by her appearance and posture. However before he could even look at Huang for some sort of help in the situation he heard his name and turned to face a flying pile of goop.
It smacked him in the chin and neck. The cold, dough-like food started to slide down his clothing but the lunarian managed to peel it off in enough time. With a raised eyebrow he looked daringly at Zhen, challenging her to throw one more piece of food in this direction.
He did not mind getting dirty, but he did not like making messes.
”Time to get messy everyone!”
His eyes narrowed and crossed the crowd and scrutinized Eiji as he sent flour flying everywhere. Of all the powder! Zhong managed to turn his back and avoid any of the flakes that might have landed in him. He was already messy enough but this just overdid it. Flour tasted disgusting raw and whatever was slung at him earlier already left a slightly sweet and sour smell on him.
With a shiver the lunarian turned around and picked up a bag that had been lying on Huang's table. "Truly this will be my revenge."he stated as the beg was sent flying in the air and broken by an aimed knife. The bag opened over Ishtar and anyone around her.

Zhēnzhū grinned wolfishly as Yue moved to crouch beside her, but continued to glance passively around the room. That trick...Eiji? Pulled with the flour had gven her a few ideas of her own. Rummaging in the workstation behind her, she rolled out a few overripe melons. One of them had some kind of fuzz growing on it-it was clear that no one had checked the foodstuffs in a while. Peeking around her workstation, and got showered with rice from a bag Zhong had launched into the air. She was pleased to see he still had a smudge of jam on his chin.
She stood, balancing one of the new missiles on her toes. "You asked how to play cuju?" she said, directing her comment to Yue and grinning somewhat fiercely. "THIS is how you play cuju!" Lifting her foot, she lightly tossed the melon into the air as she twisted, coiling the same leg and kicking out. The fruit went spinning, to slam into and splatter all over another workstation, spraying melon guts and seeds in a small circle around it. She realized she was making somewhat of a target of herself, but she was having too much fun. She quickly lined the other melons up in front of her foot, readying them for launch.

Miki had been silent for quite a while, just sitting patiently waiting for something to do. So many new Lunarians had entered, she’d forgotten who she had and hadn’t introduced herself to. There were more men now but they seemed to form their own small groups and keep their distance. All of them were quite good looking, but from what Miki could hear, some were rather arrogant and thought the girls ‘silly’. Miki was hardly silly. Quite a few of the girls here were actually rather loutish.
“Food fight!”
Miki immediately ducked as noodles and other assorted foods flew above her head. Grabbing a chair, she used it as a shield while crawling under the table she was at. There was nothing nearby she could use to fight back with, so she dropped the chair and rolled out from under the table towards the counters, dragging her stomach through puddles of some goopy stuff. Pieces of melon sprayed across the room, hitting everyone like shrapnel. So, she is quite powerful…
Miki rose quickly, not waisting any time, and grabbed some tomatoes that were stacked near other assorted vegetables. Perfect. She swiftly found her target, a boy she didn’t even know, and threw a tomato with each hand while diving towards another table for shelter.
[[The boy she’s aiming at is Eiji since I don’t believe they’ve officially met yet. :3 ]]

"The f----" Biting back an expletive, Ishtar froze as a bag of something was dumped on her. Not very familiar with cooking ingredients, she couldn't figure out what it was. Only that it was extremely, extremely disgusting. Who on earth had dared humilate her like this? Ishtar looked around angrily, her eyes settling on a classmate.
One of the boys she had flung a knife at---the maroon-haired one---stood across her, a smile on his face. Goopy, raw stuff dripped off of him, and Ishtar raised an eyebrow. What on earth were these idiots doing? She had just fixed her makeup! How could they? "You're right, boy. I certainly don't want to be here." Rising up from her chair, Ishtar crossed her arms over her chest---better safe than sorry---and winced as she felt the mess that poured over her slink down her shirt.
"This is disgusting. You, whichever alliance you are, are disgusting," Raising her nose up in the air, Ishtar felt extremely surprised at her diva-ness. Where on earth had it come from? After all, it wasn't as if being dirty was unusual for her; she had spent pretty much all the years of her chilhdhood in filth. But now, all this, this, mess was freaking her out. These people needed discipline. Smirking at the boy who had tossed the messy bag at her---Zhong, was it? Ishtar was sure she had heard somebody call him that---Ishtar yanked two mangoes, one of her all-time hated fruits, and threw them at him, hard.
Years of tossing torches had given Ish a pretty great throwing skill.
"Hmph. Food war is more like it."

Qian Jianyu had not entered the great, imposing halls of the Academy in over a year; he had had no need to. However, his younger twin sisters, Mingzhu and Ligui, both attended the school, and had lately been staying later in order to assist their history professor with organizing some of his paperwork. Today, however, Jianyu's father had requested both of the girls' help in his tattoo shop, and had sent Jianyu to the Academy to find and escort them home. It was a task Jianyu did with some reluctance, having no real desire to return once again to the school he had used to attend, but his father was not someone that he could say "no" to.
So, here he walked, down the wide, empty halls of the Academy. He could hear muted voices from the classrooms, soft laughs and quieted calls. It was only midday, and the Academy was still in session, but Jianyu had training in the afternoon, so he had left earlier to get his sisters, not wanting to be late.
He passed through the combat hall, and cut through the voice and acting classrooms to reach where his sisters were. The history classes were on the far side of the Academy, beside the culinary hall. He could hear loud voices coming from one particular classroom, but he ignored it, heading towards where his sisters' classroom was. Reaching out, Jianyu knocked twice, then pushed open the door.
The classroom was empty. Jianyu's eyebrows shot up, confusion shooting through his veins as he glanced around the deserted room. There were books open on the desks, writing still scrawled on the chalkboard, chairs pushed halfway back, but no sign of either the teacher or the students. It seemed as if partially through a lesson, they had all been called out.
But why? Jianyu's eyes narrowed as he glanced around the deserted room. Something was...off...about this. The Academy prided itself on discipline and order. It was not normal for a classroom to leave midway.
And where were his sisters?
[[ Do not reply to this yet. Just keep going as you have been. Nobody should notice Jianyu yet. ]]

Suzu's eyes widened as her worst nightmare came to life. She felt something wet and damp fall and hit her, the organic mush tinkling its way down her back. She looked behind her and froze. That did not just happen, that did not just happen to her. She shook her head. Where the hell was she? this was not how a training center was run. This is what her master said would teach her discipline? She stood up and looked back at the rabble which was behind her. She had enough. She had been raised to know this was childish and anyone who found pleasure in these things where immature. She was all about having fun but getting messy and acting like monkeys was not her idea of a good time. NOT AT ALL! She wondered over and sat in the teachers desk, staring out to her class mates.
"Hey.... hey..... excuse me... SHUT THE HELL UP!"
She shouted, her hand was tempted to move over a little and grab her whip however she held back from the attempt to lash these people into acting civilized, that in itself was barbaric but might make her feel a lot better. She reached behind her an threw off her back the remainder of the fruit which was left there. She was going to be heard and so help her god people where going to listen.
"What are you all doing? seriously? your all acting like barn yard animals. My Master has always talked about this place highly with great respect. You guys are disrespecting the rules and also the class room we are all in. Everything is a mess and so is everyone. We are not children. We are training to go to war for God sake! Our instructor could be here any moment and I don't think that this is a good impression of us at all. Please act your age! lets get this place cleaned up okay? seriously, grow up!"
She stated getting up on the table to try and address the majority of the class. She still wanted to have a good opinion of these people however it was getting hard, she was not used to such behavior. It was so uncalled for. She wanted to lean to better herself. Not act like a infant waiting for a teacher to come and tell her off and hold her hand. If this was the hope for the Legions then they were ******** !

Eiji was a tad annoyed with himself for not hitting his target. Then again it’s to be expected from his current condition that he might not make ever long distant shot he makes; in the end it still doesn’t make him feel any better. ”You say that now but how about saying that again to my face!” Eiji shouted back as he grabbed another fruit and shook his hand in the air.
It wasn’t long after that Huang got hit in the head with a slimy mixture. ”Ha! What kind of a man doesn’t stay alert in a warzone?! he poked back at Huang. Even though he did not hit him himself he was pleased that Huang got hit in the end. Watching his expression after being hit with the horribly slimy mixture was amusing. Huang wasn’t going down without a fight though, Eiji gasped and grabbed the large fruit bowl to use as a shield as he saw incoming sliced potatoes coming his way; the fruit in the bowl rolling everywhere. ”Not conspirators! Just happen to be good at thinking on our feet and working off of the given situation. You know... like true warriors.” he added, not actually realizing who it was that landed the hit.
A few squeaks from other student must have only mean more food was splattered everywhere. Turning to see what it was this time he noticed bits of slimy melon slopped everywhere. ”Oh shi-” Eiji noticed more melons were lined up for the count. No way was he getting close enough to get hit with the oncoming waves. As he was making his get away, splat!. ”Wha-” he was interrupted as he turned to see what the sound was; finding it to be a tomato on one of the cabinets just next to his head. Before realizing it and before he even really turned to see where it came from within a few seconds later, SPLAT! He felt a cold, slimy substance run down the back of his head and started to make it’s way down his neck. ”What. The. Hell... Eiji was hit with something far worse then a melon: a tomato. Catching the tomato before it slid now into his shirt he tossed the tomato gunk on the ground. Finally turning to see who might have throw the tomato Eiji declared war. ”No way in hell am I being hit with a god damn tomato with out giving the person who threw it some payback!” Grabbing a handful of noodle dough he went over to the sink and soaked it in water. You want to throw slimy things? I’ll show you slimy.. he thought to himself as the dough got a bit heavier due to the water.
Turning from the sink he guessed from the angle of the hit that the student that hit him was the quiet girl that has not spoken much during this entire war. grabbing with his other hand a ball of dough he ran up and slid over a table, tossing the dough glob at the girl (Miki).
Sliding down to the other side of the table he heard a cry of... annoyance? and turned to see what the issue was. The female lunarian, Suzu was it?, seemed to be against this little battle they all had going on. He didn’t doubt in her words but found it ironic. Leaning on the table he just fell from he called out to here ”You said we’re here to train for war? What better way to train then this? Eiji told her as he took another water drenched glob of dough from his hand and lobbed the ball over at Suzu. ”Stay alert girl. This is a warzone after all!”

Zhen had yet to answer or react, and Yue Lao's attention was claimed anew when Suzu got up on the table and started to berate the participants of the food fight. Yue Lao stood up to watch it unfold. She took a couple food items to the side: a tomato on the arm and some noodles. They really were wasting a lot of food, which didn't sit quite right with Yue, but she wasn't about to support Suzu. She grinned at Eiji as he addressed Suzu and then lobbed what looked like some kind of ... noodle paste. She laughed and jumped up on the tables again, leaping till she was standing right near Suzu. She hopped off the table and looked up at her.
"Hey, sweetpea, I think I should've been calling you princess all along. For probably the first time, I'm with him on this one!" Yue said, gesturing to Eiji with her thumb. "If you'd like, you can always go tattle," she suggested, smiling still. She dragged her finger down her cheek and popped it in her mouth, grimacing. Tomato and flour. Yue Lao started to hum a battle song, one that she'd learned from not her mother but her affectionately named other-mother. Her mother would never have taught her something like that. She made it almost comical, though. It segweyed into some sort of silly tune that she made up as she went, scooping food up. She didn't really feel like throwing any more. As much fun as the chaos was, she preferred a real fight to what she felt was a kind of passive-aggressive conflict like their food fight. She also was starting to feel a little nauseous from all the wasted food. Back home, they never wasted anything, so it was scary to see the food fight going on and on. Yue walked over to the door, stood beside the frame, and let her back slide along the wall, until she was sitting on the floor. She just watched everyone, from there, took whatever food missiles that were launched at her, or leaned to the side to avoid the ones that were easier to dodge. Again, her boredom was setting in.

Zhen frowned, settling one hand on her hip, as Suzu- a girl she barely recognized as being in the group with Yue Lao when they'd first came in- lectured the class. She might not like it, but the girl was right. They had made a terrible mess, to be sure, and if the teacher came in anytime soon they would be in deep trouble. She winced as Eiji launched a missle at her- cold noodle dough? That was enough to make even Zhen shudder.
Sighing, she bent over, picking up the melons she'd been preparing to launch and stowing them back into a cabinet. Maybe if they hurried, they could get the classroom into some state of order. She saw that Yue had clambered over desks to rest against the far wall. She didn't make most of this mess, so she probably wouldn't like to clean it anyway, Zhen thought ruefully. Instead, she edged toward the door. There had to be some kind of janitorial station, with buckets and washing rags somewhere. She also seemed to remember seeing a well somewhere outside this building- if she could sneak out without being noticed, she might be able to fetch some cleaning supplies and water in the time it would take the rest of the class to be restored to some kind of order.
As she walked toward the front, she called, "Yeh know, she's got th' right of it. If the instructor comes in anytime soon, we'll be in it deep for sure." She gestured toward the room. "If we work fast though, maybe we can clean it up in time? Why, I remember..." she launched off into some story or another, straightening chairs and desks as she moved. She blushed a little, ashamed of her behavior. She was normally a very responsible, no nonsense girl. But, she had to admit, their little diversion had burned a lot of her first-day jitters away. Now if only they could pull out a miracle before any staff showed up...

"Yea that's the right idea, team work people now come on move!"
She smiled and joined in the attempt to clean up the room. They were training for war so what better training than learning how to save your back side through speed and team work. She got to her knees and started to pick pieces of throw food up of the floor. She was used to cleaning, she was expected to clean the house for her master ever day as well as cook for him. Sometimes it seemed like apprentice was another word for slave but she did not mind, the lessons she was being taught by him where irreplaceable. He was helping her to make her dream a reality. Least she could do was be his personal slave for a few years.
She was just happy that someone agreed with her. She turned to Eiji and Yue. Her eye motion suggesting them to help in the clean up. They could be busted any second and her and Zhen could not do it on their own. She did not want to get in trouble on her first day.
All this had sure killed her boredom, least for a little while.

Huang shivered with anger as more food gathered on his clothing. For his attack with the potato slices, he had sacrificed himself for one if not two good hits on the two who had gotten him. "I am saying it to your face!" Huang shook his fist at Eiji who was keeping his position strong on the other side of the room. Huang watched in amazement as Yue, his attacker moved with a grace and speed along the tables like stepping stones. She was on her way to one girl before moving to the one who sat up front trying to clean the room.
Huang could only shake his head in pity, though he too wanted to help the ladies clean up, he had a revenge against her attackers to complete before he could rest, and his current target was the bright haired orange one. "What kinda of man indeed!" Huang pointed at the tomato that slid down Eiji's back and smirked to himself. Though he hadn't been the one to throw it, it was still exciting in the least.
Huang though moved quickly to defend Suzu who had the glob of dough mush heading her way, taking a pan, he used it to deflect the glob, felt sorry enough that Yue had gotten to Suzu anyways and moved on, sneaking his way to Eiji's table. SO the boy didn't like tomatoes, well Huang had hit the pot luck with the next work station he was at, grabbing a ball of the smaller Roma tomatoes, he shot as many as he could at the other boy, some went a little erratic in there war path, hitting other fruits and smashing in the air. Needless to say, his tomatoes we're becoming his favorite weapon.

The empty classroom worried Jianyu. He stepped out into the hallway, casting wary glances to both his left and his right. He could hear the raucous laughter, the cheerful chattering and muffled voices in the room across the hall; one of the culinary classrooms. That was proof enough that it was filled with students, going about their normal business. But this classroom...
Jianyu made his way towards the room beside the one his sisters were supposed to be in and pressed his ear to the sleek mahogany wood. There was no sound, so he pushed it open slowly, peering inside.
Empty again. Jianyu's worry turned to caution. Something was off, something was very off. The situation was making the hairs on the back of his neck stand up, and he was tense, one hand reaching for the bow tied to his waist. He felt its reassuring weight at his hip, felt the cool wood beneath his fingers, as he stepped towards another door.
Crash!
Jianyu's head jerked up. His gaze whipped from side to side. That had not been an ordinary tumble. It sounded manmade, a small explosion of sorts, and it echoed down the hallway, reverberating back and forth against the bare walls of the Academy. Jianyu's eyes narrowed.
What...is going on?
[[ Do not reply to this yet. Just keep going as you have been. Nobody should notice Jianyu yet. ]]

Having taken into consideration her strengths and weaknesses, Kotone had managed to avoid getting hit by enough food projectiles that accumulates to the point of her getting knocked out.
When Suzu spoke up regarding that the food fight should stop, she examined the situation in the classroom once more as she kept up her dodging-centered strategy but now minus the throwing on her part. Indeed, she thought, it was time to clean up.
While continuing to remain alert so as to aim to avoid possible hits from any still-flying food, Kotone began assisting with rearranging seats and such in proper places, working her way up to the front of the classroom.
Then, in quick evasive action to a sudden food missile heading her way, Kotone rolled onto one of the table’s surfaces.
Another bomb came crashing down for above to land in this new location of hers. But, she successfully avoided it with another quick movement, jumping off the table.
However, her eyes picked up more food coming towards her from the side. She made quick work of reacting to this by shifting her position in midair to cross her arms to shield her upper body. She had been hit by tomatoes thrown by Huang-Fu at Eiji.
After managing a decent landing, she stood only slightly shakily and then gave a bow respectfully and steadily directed in-between Huang-Fu and Eiji since from both she had learned from watching them, "Exemplary battle skills, Sir Huang-Fu, Sir Eiji." Kotone was of the opinion that pros and cons resulted from this food fight. She felt sorry to the food, but also thankful. The food fight had helped her cheer up by ending up a training session with a bounty. The bounty refers to the battle skills witnessed and other such fortunes.
Her eyes next having been drawn to a pot on a table, she then moved towards it. She picked it up and carried it with her as she began acting on her wish to apologize to the food with her sudden idea. She placed food on surfaces into the pot, beginning to gather them, hoping that perhaps the food could be composted.

Suzu's eyes widened as Hung defended her from some food that was heading her way. A blush came onto her face. He must care. he saved her! Suzu giggled.
"Thank you."
She responded rubbing her hands together and bowing her head. She though he did not like her but in her mind as soon as he did that it meant he did. He could have just let her get hit after all. She then turned her attention back to cleaning, the fantasy of Hung saving Suzu from a dragon and what not playing. It meant love, love, love. She would have to keep her eye out for him.
She always read too much into things.
She then carried the fruit she picked up and put in the pot that Kotone was carrying, she seemed to be storing it all in there. She smiled at her friend and bowed her head. Kotone could move! she was impressed with her skills. Even though she did not agree with the food fight it had shown that Kotone could handle herself and was in fact quite flexible!
"What are we going to do with all the uneatable fruit?"

”Oh you shut up!” Ejiji answered to Huangs taunt as he started to rid himself more of the tomato, now he just reeked of tomato and the juice was beginning to get sticky. He grumbled a bit at the situation: the tomato that had hit him and the fact how the battle was apparently over. Not that he didn’t agree with it, he did have some sense, it’s just more fun to make a mess then to clean it up in his opinion.
He set his dough glob down and began to rid himself of the tomato seeds that got stuck in his hair; not even paying attention to see if his lobbed dough ball hit it’s mark. Maybe to his own benefit he should have continued watching because now he was being secretly targeted and was completely unaware of it. Not so so much a big splat this time but more of a semi-solid object hitting your head followed by unpleasant stickiness, Eiji’s head flung to the side from the force and his own reaction, before straightening it back up and catching a few more of the later thrown tomatoes that could have also hit him. ”What the- Again with the god damn tomatoes!!” Turning to see who threw them he found it to be Huang. ”You, my friend, should enjoy the distance we have because I have all the right to come over there and beat you!” Eiji threatened as he crushed one of the Roma tomatoes he caught in his hand.
He might have been tempted to do it, or even throw them back, if his thought process wasn’t interrupted by being spoken to. The girl was that girl from earlier. He will always remember her as the scarf girl who could be the one to blame for all of this, even though he was mostly blaming her for having him hit in the first place. Eiji lightly started pointing his finger at her but decided not to say anything so stopped; instead replying back with a smirk as he rose up his hand and added a reversed* victory sign hand gesture.
”Sir... Eiji? He thought to himself as he started to wonder why she addressed him as sir. He let out a sigh as he walked past her, going to get something to help clean up the mess they called a cooking class, patting her head as he passed. ” I’d suggest you watch your knitting supplies more closely next time.”
(( * - this is just me saying he’s not doing the normal, stretch out arm, palm to you victory sign XD He’s doing a non stretched out hand gesture with the back of his hand facing away from him. I couldnt say inverted since that would mean he was doing it upside down? LOL idk. I gotta be a pain and try to do things differently. |D ))
