The Wrath king's arms hung around her champion's neck as he lifted her up. She was doing it to keep her balance as much as she was trying to keep him close. The shock of thinking of her mother was beginning to fade and she realized that she'd ruined the mood.
Bleez leaned in, her eyes closing and sighing lightly. He was so strong, he really was like her knight... and her knight in shining armor, at that. Another cooing noise escaped her as she began to relax against his cooling body.
"Thank you, Vali," she purred. "You're the best."

Bleez weighed so little in his arms. Vali could carry forever or as long as she would allow him. He tried not to pull her even closer which would make him wish to stop and try to find a more secluded place just to snuggle up with her.
"You are too kind to me Bleez. But I will always try to be as best I can for you. Your my king, my friend, and now my girlfriend. I can't be anything else for you. Are we almost home for you?"

Bleez sighed, not wanting to be reminded of home. She raised her head from its comfy perch of resting against Vali. Looking around, she saw houses and street names that were looking familiar. "Yeah," she frumped, "We're close."
Her tail curled around Vali's waist, hooking the tip in a belt loop. Her fingers began to absently run through the hair on the back of Vali's head as she was judging how much further they had since it wasn't the same as if she were running.
"It's down that street," she pointed with her clawed hand, "And then make a left at the park. It's the two-story house on the corner by the park."

Vali was a bit shocked to feel Bleez's fingers moving though his wiry hard to move hair. He did not know why such a simple act caused his cheeks to darken. And his tail was all to quick to tease along the length of her tail with the tip of the devil's barb.
"I really wish we were not so close...Though I think both our guardians would not be pleased at all if we were just to run away and not come back...huh?" He thought that it might be fun to just run off with Bleez but he could not do that to Dooma who had been nothing but supportive and kind with him. He could not just run off and leave someone who actually cared about him.
His body tensed slightly as he thought of his virtuous biological father. "Down the street and left at the park..." he repeated and then he looked down at her, "Bleez...should I get you a ring?"

"Yeah... I guess they wouldn't," Bleez didn't care if she ran off, but she didn't want to hurt Vali and Dooma's relationship in any way. That just wouldn't be right. Dooma seemed like a nice and FAIR mother, not like her own.
Her horned head snapped to look at Vali, confusion evident. "Ring? Why?" She'd never heard of getting a ring for your girlfriend, unless you were planning on getting married. But they had just started going out, so there's no way he'd wanna marry her yet. Nonetheless, she could help but smile shyly at the thought of marrying Vali.

Vali's tail lowered a bit as it stopped teasing the side of hers, "Well isn't that how it used to be done, when two people started to date the girl would wear her boyfriend's ring to show that they were going steady? Maybe it was a pin..." His lips pursed a bit in confusion. "Sorry my king I guess I could be wrong. And I don't think a promise ring out be good..." Defiantly not considering they had already be lost in the throws of passion in the food court of the mall, if it were not for Moria they might have gotten a bit too carried away.
Vali could not help a exasperated sigh as he stopped int he front of the two story house, "Looks like we made it home."

"Oh, I don't know about that..." she answered truthfully. "You're probably right, though."
Bleez looked up at the looming house. She really didn't want to go inside, but knew that it'd be in their best interests if she did. She hopped out of his arms, winching slightly as she landed on her hurt leg. Brushing it off, however, she looked up at the taller spawn, a smile full of hope and love forming. "Vali, I... I love you." Her face went red and she looked at the ground shyly. It felt so good to say, though. "A-and thank you for carrying me home."
Her tail twisted around his as she pressed herself against his body. A light kiss was placed on his lips, despite her wanting to do more. She prayed her mother wasn't watching, and that fear kept her in check.
A tight squeeze and lingering of the tail around his as she walked inside was all she could manage without getting emotional.

Vali's arms were reluctant to let Bleez go even when she jumped from his arms to stand in front of him. One hand still lingered just above her waist. "If you would like a promise ring I will get both of us one...you could ask your mother if that is okay." He had heard of them though he did not know the full meaning of a promise ring. He thought it was like an engagement ring but for younger people.
When she said she loved him Vali felt his heart stop for a minute. Someone actually loved him? His cheeks darken a bit even as she looked at the ground. "You don't have to thank me my king." He said and his arms slide farther around her back as she press herself to him his tail lacing up between the spikes and around hers. He wanted that soft peck to last so much longer, He reached his right hand up to brush her check softly his lips inches from her's even with the thought of Moria watching, "I love you too Bleez..." he whispered and watched as she pulled herself away from him. He gave a wave and a smile though he did not want to see her good, "Have a good night...sweet dreams!" he called out and waited for the door to close before he turned and started back down the sidewalk.
