"Thank you very much, Lee-taichō, Yuki-Sōtaichō..." Tsukiko said from the new position she had moved to, which was several feet away from the edge of his sphere. Currently latched onto the side of a slab of ruins, she was nearly parallel to ground. Slipping her left hand over her right wrist and gripping it tightly, she extended her index finger so that it was touching her palm. Cupping her palm as though she were holding a ball, she began to focus her power into it. "You see Dolor, the thing about gravity as that it's a power that is more or less unrivaled. Nothing is immune to it, not even light." As Tsukiko applied field after field of gravity to her palm, it began to become visible, pulsating with dark Reiryoku as it formed into a sphere. "Add gravity to gravity, and you get strong gravity. Add even more to that, and you get even stronger gravity." As she continued to add more and more gravity to this sphere, Tsukiko began to grin beneath her hood. "You know what happens next, mister Exaequare? Don't worry, I'll tell you because I know you're too stupid to figure it out. It becomes a vacuum!" The sphere suddenly opened up, forming a pitch black hole that was hovering above her hand. A stone to her left suddenly shot into the air and was sucked into this hole, and one by one, several other pieces of ruin were lifted up and sucked into it as well, seemingly defying the laws of science, notably when a rather large slab was sucked into the hole, giving the appearance of a pillow being pulled through a hole half its size.

"Do you want to know what this vacuum is called? I'll tell you that too..." Suddenly, as she applied the last layer of gravity, the black hole went active completely, and light began to bend inward towards the hole, giving it a dark ring as light was sucked into the black hole itself. "That's right, Dolor-tan, a black hole!" Bending at the knees, she built up pressure within the pistons in her legs, then suddenly vanished as the slab of ruins she was latched onto exploded in a cloud of dust and stone due to the sheer amount of force exerted by her Shukuchi Mukyō. Mid step, Tsukiko released her right arm, and her hood flew off as she pulled her right arm back, dropped the fields that were holding Dolor in place, and then faded into sight as she neared Dolor's molecular form. "Distort this - Jūryokuhōkai." Pulling her arm back, she shoved the black hole into the center of Dolor's "body." As soon as she released the black hole, she erected a field of anti-gravity so that she wouldn't be sucked in as well. Turning away from the black hole, she executed a Shukuchi Mukyō that was combined with Kokū Shukuchi in order to push herself away from the black hole's absorption radius. She dropped the field as soon as she was far enough away, standing safely in mid air above the black hole as it sucked out matter from the ground, forming a large crater. Currently, if left unchecked, the black hole would continue to grow and swallow everything up, most likely this entire dimension if she wasn't careful. Fortunately, she had a method to contain it. Unfortunately, with her body in this state, it would completely drain her of both magical and electrical energy. Still, she had no choice but to utilize it.

Presently, though she had no biological functions for being exhausted to speak of, she was visibly fatigued, which was made obvious by her flushed cheeks and that she was no longer moving as quickly as normal; she seemed to stall every now and then. Turning to face the now growing black hole, Tsukiko stumbled forward as she attached to the air yet again. Raising her arms and holding her hands aloft with her thumbs pressed up against her middle fingers, she snapped three times with each hand, causing a large circular field of gravity to appear on one side of the black hole, about 476 feet out, for each snap until they took the shape of a cube. "Sai Dai Maru: Jūryoku Kōsoku." Her words carried a certain amount of distress, which only furthered her fatigued aura, something she was doing her best to push aside. The fields which were already visible as semi-transparent walls of heavy dark reiryoku that repelled inward, suddenly molded into large circles that were imbibed with a complex formation of glowing glyphs that were there to augment her power and direct the flow of her Reiryoku.

Had she been human, she would have been breathing heavily at this point, though her new synthetic skin allowed for beads of sweat to form on her forehead and face as she forcefully overexerted herself in order to contain the black hole. The black hole pulsed inside in response to the sudden power that was restricting it. To retaliate, the black hole pulsed, and tried to pull even harder, forcing it's creator to scream out as she gave the bindings even more power until finally, in one swift stroke, the black hole imploded on itself, and then exploded outward. In the midst of the pitch black explosion, the barriers she had erected were shattered to pieces, which threw Tsukiko higher into the air, who was forced to slow her ascension by quickly latching onto the air again and regaining her balance before slowly descending towards the area the black hole had been. As she got close enough, her sensors went off like crazy as they were reading the space that the black hole had been was unsuitable for breathing, much less any type of life. Unknown to her beforehand was that the Reiryoku would fuse with the black hole's power, and become tainted, altering into a Reiryoku that acted like radiation. For now, in an area about 450 feet from the place the black hole had been, the area was filled with visible black Reiryoku that resembled smoke, and contact with it would cause a reaction similar to radiation poisoning, which was to be expected as she had severely violated the laws of physics. Such a violation came with violent repercussions; luckily she would not experience much of this due to her not being a biological life form.

Slowly but surely, the gynoid began a half-stumble, half-walk toward Elisia, as both her Bankai and Shikai unraveled. At first, her cloak was broken down into pieces of fabric that fell off her body, disintegrating before it hit the ground. As this occurred, it slowly revealed her Shikai's uniform that also began to fall apart in pieces, leaving her naked for a moment before her Shihakusho and Haori materialized on her body. As she grew nearer and nearer to Elisia, she grew more and more sluggish until when she was finally within a foot of the girl, she could barely move any more. Smiling like an idiot, she slowly lifted her right hand, extended two fingers, poked Elisia in her sternum, and fell forward, collapsing on the girl. As she essentially, though not intentionally, buried her face in the girl's chest, Tsukiko grabbed onto Elisia's shihakusho for support. Dropping her voice to keep a certain amount of privacy between the two, Tsukiko whispered to Elisia. "Maybe it's too soon and maybe you feel otherwise, but I thought you ought to know that I am madly in love with you. Also, don't go near that area... You'll die." With a sheepish grin on her face, Tsukiko suddenly fell silent as her internal systems began shutting down, turning her off over the course of several minutes in order to conserve energy, putting her in a hibernation state that was evident by the fact that she was no longer moving or responding.

Elisia kept her eye trained on Dolor for as long as she could, forcing herself not to wince or flinch at the gruesome states that his body was going through. Of course, she found herself being distracted by firstly the Yata no Kagami bounced off herself, and everybody by the looks of it, and obviously, generally the fight between Hei and Caelum. However, the cloud of dust and stone made it hard for her to see and she found herself rocking back and forth on her toes, worrying about Tsukiko. While she knew that the girl was more than capable of looking after herself, she had some sort of habit that forced her to do this all the time. The sudden scream didn’t help either, and she barely managed to stop herself from sprinting forward to search for the girl. Next came an implosion then an explosion, surprising her. There was absolute no chance whatsoever now that Dolor could not have been completely obliterated in that. Nevertheless, she pushed aside any thoughts of rejoicing or relief as she scanned the area for Tsukiko.

She was so intent and so sure that Tsukiko had been at a particular place, that she didn’t actually realize when the girl was walking towards her from the opposite direction, at least, until she came close enough for Elisia to catch sight of her. Turning her head, Elisia’s face twisted into one of pain as she noticed the fact that the normally high-spirited girl had now become lethargic. Even moving seemed a chore. The only source of comfort to her was the fact that the girl was smiling, even as she prodded Elisia in the sternum. A blush heated her cheeks as Tsukiko’s head was effectively in her chest, but she placed her arms protectively around the girl, barely able to hear what the girl was saying. All her worries and anxieties from before, about the fact that the girl had completely ignored her, vanished in an instant and she nearly found herself crying from a mixture of relief and joy but she held back her emotions for the meantime. “Tsuki…” she breathed, barely able to form her words.

The next few moments found her calmer than usual, even though she had to admit that she was inwardly freaking out about the fact that Tsukiko, when she had finished speaking, had stopped moving or responding to anything at all. Taking several deep breaths, she remembered the last time something like this had happened, when the girl had worked herself too hard in an attack against the enemy. Most likely, it was the same thing as now. Gently stroking the girl’s hair, she decided that she would tell Tsukiko how she felt after this entire affair was over and done with, since firstly it would be slightly awkward to say this to a person who would not be able to hear, and she would need to get permission from Yuki and Hei. While Yuki would be hopefully fine with it, it was the father that she dreaded. Shivering slightly, she leaned in, whispering into Tsukiko’s ear, “You’ve done well, don’t worry about anything…rest.” She carefully lifted Tsukiko’s currently ‘lifeless’ body, staggering a little as she adjusted her weight to compensate for Tsukiko’s. Awkwardly shunpo’ing, she appeared next to Yuki. It was more a gesture than anything else, since as a mother, Yuki would want to know how her child was. Saying nothing, she merely carried Tsukiko silently, looking towards Hei and Caelum. Hopefully, if everything went well, they might be able to return soon. She was concerned about how the Lieutenants they had left behind, would deal with the two Exaequare. While she had faith in them, their enemies hadn’t seemed to be easy so far, so it was almost certainly safe to say that about the Lieutenants.

When discussion fails...

Caelum watch Asami carefully as Hei had directed her. He was curious as to what she could do, but was cautious nonetheless. Her movement into a position much like that of a sprinter's led him to believe she was quite physical, as if she wanted to, she could have simply executed a shunpo to him. Putting his weight into his knee's, Caelum lifted his right hand, palm out, in front of him, a psycho-field just a few millimeters off of it, but about a half an inch to an inch in thickness. She moved as he finished his sentence and appeared before him, aiming for his stomach. Her power was incredible, for her frame, as she cratered the ground, but Cealum rolled to the right, or rather spun, and threw his right hand down onto her upper arm, pushing it down. As she moved to continue her combo, and shoved forward, Caelum left his left leg up to catch hers as she moved forward, and moved his left hand to her shoulder. Pushing down with his right hand, up with his left hand, and catching her foot with his, Cealum used natural physics to use her power against her, aiming to throw her down. He left her to her own devices after that, as he did not know where she was going to go.

Turning his attention back to Hei, Caelum's brow twitched as Hei began to speak again. He could not understand how anything he said to lee held pertinence to him, but he withheld his over all building irritation and impatience. It was obvious Hei simply wanted to hurt Caelum, something Caelum understood, but still detested upon in his head. Most everything that went through his head was done when Hei's leg began to glow. Caelum ventured a guess to something along a light based attack, figuring it to extremely quick, and formed a psycho-field, a baseball in diameter, about 5 feet in front of him. His lip curled to a scowl with Hei's added insult after his glowing leg. When the rings appeared, Caelum tensed his legs and relaxed his arms in front of him. As the beam shot forward, Caelum expanded the psycho-field to take the brunt of it, however the explosion made its way around the 'shield' and threw him back, though he caught himself with his right hand, and slid on the ground on one knee and one foot.

Caelum watch Hei with a hawk eye, taking care to note his attacks. When he began to rain down 'Light bullets' Caelum threw up a repetitive Psycho-field around him, pushing away from around him, though some shot through the intervals and caught him on the shoulder, thigh, lower leg, and one even pierced through his lower torso, just missing his kidney. Just as this was over, he watched as Hei traveled away on a path of light. His brow furrowed in slight confusion, though this faded as the sudden feeling of a blade through his chest, and a warm feeling coming from his mouth and down his chin. As he looked down, figuratively in this case, he found it to be blood and Caelum let out a soft sigh. and stumbled as the blade vanished from its place. "Hahahaha. Here I thought there were no knowledgeable people in this world any longer. You truly surprise me, Hei. I will not call myself a God and run in fear from one that besmirches my image as a one. If there is a Hades, is there not a Zeus? I will simply tell you now, you are the Zeus that had stayed hidden. I thought myself to be he, and yet here I am, Hades. I will stand here and stare you down. No matter how I may appear in this moment. For I shall not be come a hypocrite, even if it means I should die.

A swift end to you shall be given.

Aurelius - Infinitus
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

As he returned to his home for the first time in a week and a few days, Aurelius felt at ease despite the fact that Caelum was going to be furious at him. His own home made him feel much better as compared to the Soul Society. Either way, he was safe for the moment as long as Caelum was distracted by Hei, which he knew he was. Aurelius appeared just in time to witness Dolor taking a black hole and kept his distance as the thing imploded and exploded, creating an area full of tainted Reishi, this much he knew after asking what the hell the black smoke was. Though he didn't show it, he was delighted to see Dolor have his a** handed to him, because he didn't really care for the man at all. He knew he'd be back eventually, given the physics of the black hole and the future he had already witnessed, but the thought was refreshing nonetheless.

As Tsukiko moved towards Elisia, Aurelius followed her, sauntering in her footsteps before he not-so-eagerly deviated from his original path and ambled towards Yuki, stuffing his hands into his pockets and hanging his head low like a sulking teenager. Once he got three feet away, a distance he deemed as too close, he hunched his shoulders, looked up, and directed an empty stare into Yuki's eyes. "Thought you ought to know that your subordinates are pretty close to being dead... It matters very little to me, but if you want to leave... I'll send you back, but only because of her..." Aurelius lazily jerked his head in Tsukiko's direction as Elisia brought her over to Yuki's side. He didn't bother to reveal the tidbit about it being Zenos that had dealt the damage, and decided not to tell them that they had done well against his underlings. It was of no consequence, she would find out soon enough, and her surprise was more amusing to him.

"...allow me to show you a fate worse than death."

Glancing back as Yuki spoke, Hei narrowed his eyes at his sister in slight annoyance that he was being told to stop toying with this one. After a moment of hesitantly staring his elder sister down, during which he was forced to listen Caelum speak, he relaxed his expression, scoffed, and turned back to face Caelum as he finished speaking. "Understood..." He answered, breathing a sigh while his uniform reverted to it's normal appearance and his hair turned black once more.

Kagayaki materialized in her katana form in his left hand and after tugging Shōhi from Kagayaki's saya, he slipped the white katana across the saya's edge, then sheathed it slowly, waiting for the click before turning on his heel and whisking himself away from where he had been standing, walking with an air of superiority as he moved to retrieve Shōhi's saya. Once he reached the object, he slipped his toes under it, kicked it into the air, then turned around to walk back towards Caelum. After twirling the katana in his hands once, he flicked it over his shoulder, sending it flying right into the saya, sheathing itself and upon contact, causing both to spin mid-air, then descend towards his open hand where he was waiting to catch it and slip it into his hakama-himo in one swift motion.

Cracking his neck, he waved his hand at Asami in a dismissive manner to indicate that her services were no longer needed, or maybe that they were never needed. It was hard to tell at this point. As he neared Caelum he moved his hands into the adjacent sleeve of his haori, crossing his arms across his chest, and maintaining the calm demeanor he had held this entire time. "We will begin these so-called negotiations at this point. Though, I regret to inform you that they're really no longer negotiations given the fact that Tsukiko-taichō over there has dispatched of Dolor, who was holding the human-erasing brooch the last time I checked. Given his personality, I'm sure he never returned it to you. Regardless, I'll grace you the solution to your problem; Clones. I have the technology, you don't need the details, but you will supply me with the raw materials, or your balance will remain unchecked which is a problem that doesn't bother me in the slightest.

I will manufacture the first Gillian whose base will be a single cell organism. Thus over time, it will undergo a process similar to Mitosis and continually split until your population problem is fixed. It'll reach a limit, eventually... I imagine our little people will have quite the time on their hands dealing with the abundance of hollow in the world. It's of no consequence to me though."
Turning away, he snapped his fingers in Aurelius' direction to indicate that he wished to leave now. He eyed Hideki, wondering why he would even be around when it was supposed to be only Captains in attendance. After a second or two, he dismissed the fact and wrote it off as the boy being playful. "This is no time for playing, Hideki-kun. I want a sample of that tainted Reishi over there on my desk by the time I get back to it." As he neared his sister, he called back to Caelum. "You'll receive a list of materials sooner or later, so I suggest you prepare yourself for the cost. Sayonara." He spared a glance to his sister and would shimmer on the air by the time he was within three feet of her, and disappear.

Hakase Yuki

Ichibantai Taichō

Her idea that Dolor would be ended by her attack was short lived once Tsukiko had nailed Dolor with a black hole, which began to draw forth all matter that was close to it, including the Exaequare himself. Watching her carefully, Yuki had to restrain herself to go after Tsukiko once she realized that she was overexerting herself to take down Dolor, something that was evident by her sluggish movements and that she was now sweating, something Yuki didn't even know she could do. Hardly time to be surprised by such trivial things, Yuki steeled her resolve and allowed her exhausted daughter to approach the one person Yuki had been expecting her to go towards. Deep down within the depths of heart, Yuki was sad to see Tsukiko choose Elisia over herself simply because she saw her as her little girl, and not the woman she was slowly becoming. Up until Tsukiko fell onto Elisia, Yuki had missed Aurelius' presence, but was not very surprised when he finally stopped in front of her and relayed the information that the third seat, Lieutenants, and two Captains she had left behind were close to dead. Surely there was some sort of mistake; those Exaequare couldn't have been a match for a handful of Lieutenants, let alone Hibiki and Eriko.

Tightening her grip on Lee's robes and glancing to the right as Elisia brought Tsukiko to her side, she nodded slowly to indicate she wished to leave. She could now hear Hei speaking to Caelum, and bluntly at that. He had always been blunt to a fault, and it was something she worked tirelessly to fix about him, but it never worked out in the end. At least use some tact, you idiot. She mumbled to herself as she looked over Aurelius' shoulder as Hei approached her. He was unusually quiet at this moment, but she kept silent. Meeting his glance with an identical expression as he disappeared from this world. Scratching the back of her head, Yuki breathed a deep sigh as she realized that Hei had neglected to ask about Tomomi. Sometimes she wondered if Hei wanted him out of the way permanently, even if he appeared to be friends with the boy. Parting her lips to speak, Yuki's words were caught in her throat by a sudden realization; Caelum wouldn't know where Tomomi was. Dolor had captured Tomomi when he came to interrupt the funeral and he hadn't had a chance to speak to Caelum after the fact as he had been in captivity. With that on her mind, she furrowed her brow and looked down at Aurelius. "Fine, but you're coming back too. I have questions." After fishing her tanto from her robes, it suddenly reverted back into at katana, which caused her attire to revert to her hakama, Ginjōtan, and Haori that draped over her shoulders.

Sixth Division's Captain

Tetsunosuke let his guard down as he turned his head to watched Hei fight Caelum. The fact that Hei was winning honestly didn't come to a surprise to him. His lids hung lazily open as his eyes tried to keep up with Hei's movements. Which they didn't. He sighed as he looked away. He reminded himself that Hei was a lot older then himself, and was a lot smarter, so him being more skilled with his Zanpakuto was only natural. Tsukiko was attacking Dolor now. It appeared as though she'd formulated a plan with Yuki and Lee. He cocked a brow as Tsukiko's attack was successful, to an extent, and caused Dolor to go on the defensive by breaking himself down.

Lee's voice caused Tetsu to looked his way involuntary. A cold chill ran over him as Lee induced his chilling techniques. Tetsunosuke was zombified and could still feel the coldness of Lee's bankai abilities. Tetsunosuke's ears twitched thunder filled the sky. Lightning was visible as he watched it gallop in the clouds. His eyes suddenly dilated as lightning struck Dolor like mighty judgment from above. Tetsunosuke watched as Yuki picked Lee up by his rob and Shunpo away. He did the same after she called out to them. It was apparently obvious as he was a few twenty feet away from Yuki to the left after coming out of his Shunpo. His cloak was ruffling and billowing after the last step. Tetsunosuke turned to watched Tsukiko finished Dolor off once and for all, supposedly. His expression was unchanging as she made a black hole. His cloak was drawn to the hole as pieces of the ruins flew and were sucked into it. Tetsunosuke turned his whole body, it was obvious the victory of the fight, so watching to the end wasn't something he had to do. He felt a familiar presence and turned to watch Aurelius walk toward Yuki. The older appearance of the crumb-crusher was still new to Tetsunosuke, so seeing the sulking teen was sort of annoying. His head suddenly flicked toward Hei. Tetsu's bankai dematerialized as he was holding his zanpakuto in his left hand. He sheathed it as Hei spoke of a means to an end. "It seems sort of ludicrous; forging Gillian-hollows just so that the balance can be worked out to make Caelum happy. This appears like we're shooting ourselves in the foot." Tetsunosuke looked away from Hei as he spoke out loud. "Sōtaichō, I will accompany you back to Soul Soceity. Unless everyone is leaving now..." Tetsunosuke said to his superior. His left hand was resting on his katana while his right was rubbing the back of his neck.

Aurelius - Infinitus

As Hei had approached him after snapping his fingers, Aurelius was already preparing to send him back. Single person transmissions required no circle and only a little preparation. As soon as Hei was close enough, he touched the man's arm with his flat palm and watched him shimmer like a mirage as he disappeared from this world. Aurelius' lazy gaze shifted to Tetsunosuke as his thoughts permeated his brain. "Really, crumb-crusher is still the best you have for me? Sad..." Yawning, he looked to Yuki and nodded. "I'll return sooner or later, I just have a few things to take care of here first. And I'll send the Reishi..."

Closing his eyes, the young man lifted his hands to chest level, then spread them far apart, all the while an ethereal force began to ruffle his clothing. Snapping the fingers of both his hands, he forced a very large magical circle to appear on the ground, one that stretched far past the meadow. It glowed brightly, vibrantly with greens, blues, whites and yellows. Tiny symbols materialized themselves on those he was told to send away, and with a clap of his hands, his eyes shot open as all the Shinigami shimmered like a mirage and vanished as the last second passed, taking their spiritual signatures with them to Soul Society, or more specifically, to Sōkyoku Hill.

Once he was done with this and they were all gone, Aurelius ambled over to Caelum and stood outside of his reach. He looked him once over, and between all the wounds, Aurelius could say he had never looked worse. "I see that you've learned not to oppose him, haven't you? Good. I'll be taking some time off from my job. Paid or not, I don't really care. I may leave for good, or I may not. Time will tell, but for now I've found something worth living for, other than the life you promised me. Be seeing you..." With this, he stepped away from the area, wrapped a large section of the tainted Reishi in a barrier and transported it Hei's labs in the same manner he had sent the Shinigami.

Feeling: E l a t e d ?
"Truth is simply a conception..."

Laughing internally to himself as he heard Dolor's retort, his eyes turning within his head to witness his retaliation, and the helpful save of Elisia, Hideki lifted his hand up nonchalantly and shrugged. Meaning he really did not give two shits what he expected from him. Arrogance was what was there, simple as that. The change of terrain below his feet made him jump at the surprising occurrence, though it was short lived as he began to walk yet again, shaking his each foot off to the side to ride them of the sand that found their way into the weave of his tabi.

Putting his little finger into his ear, he picked at it and flicked whatever, if anything, out to the side when he found a spike in different reiatsu and found Elisia creating a large tree. Eying her, he figured that she would not motion to him to come unless it was completely necessary and, with the noted spikes in reiatsu, Hideki vanished from his position, appearing in the tree. He was hanging from a branch from his right arm, and had appeared there just in time to witness Yuki's murderous assault on Dolor. Hideki smirked at the sight and continued to keep tabs on both sides of the battle, as well as Caelum's battle.

Neither were surprising, in the way of who was winning. What did surprise him, were the new techniques that were being used. He marked them to memory, recognizing the pre-technique movements so that if he ever fought them, he would know what to expect and when. When Hei turned to negotiation, Hideki let go of the tree and fell to the ground, stopping with his left foot as well as pocketing his hands. His eyes traveled, first, to the barren and black tainted area left from Tsukiko's attack, then to Tsukiko herself. Just after looking to her, Hei spoke out to him. Which caused a smirk to play across his features. He would find out soon enough, about his captaincy, but he played along with it. "Hai, Hei-taichou. I apologize, I simply felt that I was ready for such a thing." Hideki nodded and silently released to shikai, something odd to see, as when the second blade was formed, another saya would form facing the opposite way from his original one. Hideki used his technique 'Nomu' silently to drop a section of the tainted area before Aurelius took the entire thing away somewhere. Sighing, Hideki simply figured he would use it as a tide turning surprise. This was a quick thought as, just as he thought of it, he was disappearing.

When discussion fails...

Caelum lifted his index and thumb to his eyes and rubbed them gently as he listened to Hei explain the 'negotiations'. Truthfully enough, they were far from negotiations, but more of commands as most of what Caelum had as leverage in the debate on what would happen was gone and Hei was a superior force, of which Caelum had now recognized as to great to face on his own, or rather at all. "Understood. I will await for your results then. I hope that we shall never cross paths again. You are formidable." Caelum ate his pride upon speaking such a phrase, but seeing that it had already been taken, he had no objections on doing so.

He turned as Hei did, and began to walk away as Aurelius spoke. Caelum stopped mid stride and looked over to Aurelius, "Indeed I have. However, your life is your own, now. You have no duty any longer, as there is nothing to get that duty done. Feel free to choose your path as you want. I will no longer object to that." Caelum did have a regret for releasing Aurelius, but it seemed right. Caelum then turned back to his path and began to walk again, heading for some distant part of the ruins to contemplate what would happen now.
