"No, no it wouldn't!" The vixen chuckled, nodding her head eagerly as she tried to pound in the memo about the AI into her memory. "I'll try and remember!" Watching him return to his things, she paused for a moment and got a small smile on her face.
Turning around she came up behind him and snuck her arms around his torso in a quick little hug. "Thanks again for today, Banes. Means a lot!" She spoke softly, before drawing back and heading towards her own direction home. "See ya!" Kay shouted, before heading off down the path to get ready for tomorrow.

He had picked up his gun, phone that didnt work, badge and the t-shirt he descarded, and as he stood he felt hands slip between his arms and someone hug him briefly. His face could not be any redder. "Your..welcome" he blushed, trying to keep his face hidden from her.
As he was sure, she had turned and left, he himself turned and waved just because he felt it necessary. He didn't really notice if she turned back to wave or not, but he soon found that he too was making a mad dash home as well...remembering he had a brief shift that night

The next morning
Making a mad run to the doors of the PD, the vixen felt her lungs burning as she leaned up against the side of the doors and tried to catch her breath as she was about fifteen minutes late. She had on her back a simple ruck sack, most filled but she decided even for a week to pack light since there would be a runner.
Rubbing her paw on her bare arm she wished she had her sweater for the trip but alas; wearing a blood stained sweater wasn't the best of ideas when going on a hike so her tee shirt would just have to do. Finally having caught her breath she turned and headed into the PD, taking a glance around for the signs of the AI Banes mentioned yesterday.
"Banes..?" Kay called, wondering if anyone was about.

The moment the AI heard a voice present in the lobby, it appeared in the middle of the room, looking vaguely like a heroic cyber-like knight. It hovered in mid air and seemignly stared down at Kay. "Welcome. How can I help you?" the AI asked as it shifted it's hand over the spear, just in case.
"Stupid AI...I'm right here and I JUST told you." banes said as he opened a back door opposite the room. He was in a black tee and marine camo shorts, giving and ice cold glare at the AI. " Come on back here Kay...stupid AI" he said with a smile on his face, holding the door open so she could easily scoot in

Snapping her head in the direction of the direction of the voice she noticed the large presence in the middle of the room with a confused look on her face. Where the heck did he come from? "Ah...I'm looking for Banes...?" She questioned before her attention was diverted to the opening door where she say her friend.
"Ah!" She blinked back to the knight like fellow, feeling she knew him from somewhere before scooting over to the open doors. Sliding through she stopped on the other side as she would await for him to lead. "Thank you...I'm sooo sorry I am late....I ran into a bit of trouble on my way to the meeting and it just threw off my whole day!" Kay gave an apologetic smile while scratching the back of her head, her tail swaying to and fro.

He closed the door behind her, but not before giving the knight AI one last glare and a shake of his head. "That's ok, we never agreed on a meeting time, so I wasn't expecting you at any time" he said as he motioned her to walk down the hallway, where a a thick door prevented entry into the sanctuary of the station.
"Trouble? What kind of trouble?" he asked as he took out a card and put it in front of the key code, unlocking the large wooden door. He took hold of it and held it open for her before entering himself

"Ah, trying to escape an irrate demon as I left the house late...ended up finding a wounded vixen on my way to the shop...got my favorite sweater bloody and was late for the meeting; in turn late to get here." She sighed, hopefully if the sweater sat in bleach for a week it would be nice and white when she got back. At least one of her housemates was kind enough to say he'd watch it for her.
Sliding through the second door she paused once more a few steps in, looking around at the bigger than she expected building. "Did you find everything you were looking for?"

"Someone was hurt?" he was a bit astonished by that, but it wasn't too shocking. The forest was more violent than many other places..someone was bound to get hurt eventually.
"Almost..just need to get you decent sized body armor and find a light weight gun for you to carry." he didn't want to seem degrading to her, but judging by the fact that she had never shot a gun, it would have been better for her to have a light weight one.

"I think she was more beaten than hurt, it seemed like quite a scuffle from where abouts I found her. Snake Eyes stayed with her, think he may know her or something!" She smiled and followed along, glancing down the halls.
"Bean bags, right?" She questioned in a quite serious tone, hoping he had managed to find one. While the idea of carrying a weapon wasn't the problem, the idea of being decent enough to shoot with purpose was another.

"Snake eyes knows someone? That's a first" he said in a rather surprised tone. He couldn't believe that ninja had any friends, much less ones that are female. But he wasn't about to judge, there was so much else to worry about.
"Yes bean bags. Can you handle a shotgun?" he inquired as he stopped by a door that was labeled "armory". He used his key card once more and was granted access to a small room with shelves and shelves of equipment. He looked at the highest shelve and clambered up, yanking down a box full of small bean bags that could easily fit in the barrel of certain guns. "Unfortunatley, we don't have glock bean bags yet...so It's either you have a shotgun, or an AK...and they both pack a punch, but the shotgun is more manageable." he explained as he pulled down a standard 16. Gauge shotgun

"Hey now, he knows me too." Kay retorted with a chuckle, even if it was because of their little adventure than they were 'stuck' together per say for the time they were. Stepping inside the armory as she looked around at the vast items, the vixen dare not touch anything as he asked her a question which made her think.
"I've fired a .9mm twice, but that's about the extent of my knowledge." She admitted, taking the box gently from his paws to look over the bean bags. Seemed easy enough, at least they weren't as....well, damaging as bullets. "Anything that wont blow me onto my a** will be perfect, Banes." She grinned playfully, and looked to the shotgun he had in his paws. "I don't suppose with the bean bags either would be semi auto huh?" Kay bit her lip, knowing shooting it was only half the battle as she wasn't sure how effective she'd be loading it in the first place at any reasonable speed.

"Pfft..What do I know. I can't keep tabs on everyone you know" he said with a little wink.
He took one of the bean bags and opened the chamber to the shot gun. "Well this is a big step up from a .9 Millimeter, but aside the kick, it's still handy to have." He said as he loaded the bean bag in the chamber and handed it to her, still treating it as if it was loaded. "No, but you can put 2 bean bags in the chamber of the shotgun. Can't do that in the AK" he said as he closed the top of the box and hefted it up. Might as well take the whole thing, no one else used bean bag rounds anymore

"Pfft. You should." She mused, obviously joking as the shotgun was placed into her paws.
"Ah....great. Needless to say i'll feel it in the morning if I end up having to shoot it then huh?" She commented, glancing around the shotgun to try and familiarize herself with it. "Does it come with a strap, or how am I carrying this? Likewise with the ammo?" Thankfully she did leave room in her sack, so she knew there was one option for the ammo. "I assume you will have the more effective weapon then for that just in case?"

He shook his head as he also fished around for another box. "Always in the oddest places these days."
He heard her comments and stuck his head out from the infinite boxes and gear. "I have an extra strap in my room, we will get it then, and as for the ammo, I have a pack mule with me today, so, he will be carrying everything we can't." he said as he reached back and finally found the box he was looking for. "These are real shotgun shells. So if your feeling brave, you can use these too." he put the much smaller box on top of the bean bag box and headed out the door, waiting for her to follow. "Yeah, I'll have my full utility belt and a shotgun as well. But we would rather not have to kill something on this, so that's why we have other things" he explained quickly

"Ah, good!" Well, that was a relief at least. Leaning to the side she glanced as he almost seemed buried alive by boxes; but finally returned with what he was looking for. However, she looked confused. "Pack mule? Do I want to know if its someone or an actual mule?" The vixen wasn't sure; as much as she liked larger animals....well....she didn't.
"We'll see. Any chance for some training when we're out there?" She asked, making sure to keep close as he left the room and she slipped out right behind him. Shutting the door behind her as it was locked in the first place, she nodded quickly. "Well I'm glad. what else do we have asides from the obvious?" She gave a quick gesture of the shotgun in her hand.
