Oh god. 1:05 to 1:09 was the best thing ever.
Anyway, it seems like you did a phantom slash ( KB has the same ability, go you! ) and... his arms up and down movement got in the way of it. Instead of being super gay about it and shrugging off all the damage, he took a credible amount to the hand, slowed down, and basically fumbled forwards to try and throw a knee.
It's my opinion that at this point is that he's using the dumb luck thing to justify not instantly dying from her attack and prolong the fight. I'd personally roll with it and enjoy the up close and personal aspects of fighting, but then again that's just me. If you wanted to you could probably just argue that the width of the blade is more than the guards on the back of his hand, which results in unprotected portions of the hand being cut and the rest of his body around the area being completely demolished.
Eh.

Listen.
She's painting a picture.
This is clear.
If there's any issue with my post- I'll re-write it. But since she doesn't understand what I tried to explain; I won't re-write it simply because she has a problem with it.
That's my stance.
Thank you. I'm done with this before it turns into a circus.
I expect a pm soon. ^_^
Because frankly- I don't have alota options with a foe who farts blades at random at will and with no notable expense or time needed to create such attacks.

I think I need to take a look at the arena itself, but it was to my knowledge that this was on a platform like in the DBZ Tenkaichi Budokai or the YYH Dark Tournament. The only chunks of stadium you'd be able to throw would be from the ground, otherwise you'd be harming spectators and ringing yourself out.

Well, like I said.
I think of large being....torso sized, give or take.
I'm guessing he's blowing it up to like....a whole section of the audience.

Gotta say, you're going to be hard-pressed to find a torso sized piece of terrain unless you take it out of the safety wall that bars the competitors from the spectators.
The floor of the arena is just a foot deep tile or whatever, marble, and then the rest is loose soil and rocks. Nothing major, unless you want to dig for a boulder, which would take a long time. That being said if you get the chance you could pull up a sizable part of the marble itself and use that, if you wanted to.
Realistically, the lifting amount shouldn't be a concern at all.

I recall a fight I had against an ogre. His 8 foot club did a good job of creating large chunks of arena floor.

And my ruling on James vs Cyrus?
Keep fighting ya goofs. :/
There's no judgement I can make right now until the fight has ended, and I still see moves that can be done so that the fight continues. Just roll with it and go.
I want to see if you guys catch on to what I feel needs to happen. I won't say it, because it'd be giving tips. >>

Right. I'm just assuming the floor breaks into manageable pieces though. That being said, being able to lift a torso sized part of the stadium translates to about a torso sized portion of floor. To compare it to something immediately recognizable, a tombstone.
So she can lift a tombstone, basically. The question becomes, if someone lifts a tombstone and tries to smash you on the head with it or throw it at you, do you want to let them? No.
The rules clearly state that the way a character lifts impacts their lifting ability. Just because she can lift a tombstone sized piece of the floor doesn't mean she can swing it around like a chopstick.

I know! It's just an expanded thought.
If you're clear on what your character can and can't do, and now Noire is clear on what your character can and can't do, then the Help Desk has served its purpose! Another happy customer. 3nodding

I figure Vansin is handling this problem, though I do want to point this out.
I'm not being a jerk at all here, and I mean this with the utmost courtesy, but...this is kindof the GTB Help Thread. ._. I know you guys are discussing the issue related to what was posted here, but since I want to keep this relatively stable and easy to go through, you guys should discuss all of that stuff in the OOC.
That way we won't lose track of the others who have put in judge calls.
