Dr. Riku spat up some blood at the impact and glared at both Xenos and Mariana. He wiped the blood on his sleeve and stood up.
Mariana looked worriedly from Xenos to Riku and tried to interject. "Xenos, please don't kill him. I'm used to him yelling so it doesn't affect me that much anymore. It's normal for him to yell at me."
Riku smirked at Mariana trying to protect him. He cast Xenos a taunting glance,daring him to hurt him while Mariana was here.

Xenos growled but backed off,only because Mariana had asked. If she hadn't he would have snapped the man's spine in half; that was what was normal for him after all.
"Whatever you say,Mariana." He scowled at the Doctor.

Mariana sighed in relief and glared at Riku.
Riku smirked even more and went over to Mariana."Now then. Lift up your shirt and I'll see if you're wound opened up again."
Mariana lifted her shirt and let Riku examine her stomach.
Before Riku began to unwrap the bandages he looked at Xenos. "You probably don't want to see this."

Xenos scoffed at the doctor's proposal.
"I have seen much worse in my time."
He leaned against the wall,crossing his arms as he watched the Doctor his eyes trained on the Mariana's stomach. He watched closely for a reason to beat the doctor to a pulp.

Riku rolled his eyes and unwrapped the bandages. The wound had, indeed, opened up again. He had the urge to hit Mariana for her foolishness but thought against it. He cleaned the wound and stitched it up again. He re-wrapped it expertly and made sure to wrap it tightly so Mariana would be uncomfortable. To spite Xenos he made sure to rub his arms against Mariana's chest while he was wrapping, making her blush slightly and look away.
Mariana was greatly uncomfortable with Xenos seeing her wound but was more uncomfortable by the fact that Riku was rubbing against her and making the bandages too tight. She wanted to say something about it but was afraid Xenos might snap if she said something.

Xenos' glare sharpened and concentrated on the back of Riku's head as,he tried to think of a fitting punishment to inflict on the annoying doctor. The pale haired demon growled slightly as he watched the man's movements. Was he rubbing against Mariana's chest?
"I think your done now."
Xenos took a step forward.

Riku smirked and looked at Xenos with another taunting look. He straightened and gathered his things. "This time, rest." He shot Mariana a death glare.
Mariana shivered under his glare and nodded curtly.
Riku picked up his bag and left. Shooting yet another taunting and devious look at Xenos before he exited the room with a smirk on his lips.

Xenos stared after the man as he left. The doctor was lucky he hadn't throttled him on the spot; it took a great deal of self control not to grab his neck as he walked by. He shook his head as he took a seat at the foot of Mariana's bed.
"What a disgusting man."

Mariana smiled. "True, but he is a great doctor. He mostly did those things to spite you though. Since he's been with me since I was born he becomes over protective. Especially around men. He thinks someone of my back ground should stay in a mansion waiting for my parents so set me up with a proper husband. Not living by myself doing informant and assassination jobs."

Xenos looked up in thought for a second. He understood how the doctor must be feeling,though he hated to admit it. He didn't like connecting with people like that. A smirk bloomed on his face as he looked up at her.
"Sounds like he needs to find himself a girl of his own." He mused.

Mariana laughed. "Yeah. I doubt anyone could deal with him, though. I think the main reason he stays as my doctor is because I don't kick him out when he yells."

"Hmph. If you ever need him dealt with,just call me. I'll send Xenia after him."
Xenos chuckled as he crawled onto the other side of the bed. He wasn't going to leave for quite some time after all. He kissed her on the cheek as lay down beside her,smiling.

Mariana smiled and closed her eyes. She got closer to Xenos and rested her head on his chest. "You don't have to stay, you know..."

He smirked as he gently pulled her into his arms as he rested his chin on her head lightly. He kept an eye trained on the door as if that would stop people from walking in.
