"I en't lyin'." Siryn replies, levelling her gaze. "I habe no crew, nor a ship at t' moment. Now, I didn't say that I ne'er had a ship. You heard o' the Starling?" she says.

She brings and arm back to brush her long red curls off of her shoulders, waiting for a reply from the other woman. She's not taking this encounter very kindly, mostly because she just wants to be left alone, so she can sort out what had happened, and why she isn't on her beloved ship anymore.

*Synn seems to sober up instantly, clunking her tankard down and leaning forward, she claps a hand over the woman's mouth.*

"Husssshhh lassy."

*Synn scoots closer and whispers in a cautious voice.*

"What know ye' of the Starling?"

Siryn sighs. She should have known that something bad had happened. "Naught all." She replies. "I was first mate on the ship, then I fin meself waking on a beach, missing an eye." she whispers. "I reckon I can' remember a thing 'as 'appened."

She needs to know what happened all those days ago, and why she found herself stranded on a beach, with no memory. She's suspecting a mutiny, and she hopes that her father is ok, although she muchly doubts it.

Orient nearly falls off his stool when he hears that this woman was part of the crew on the Starling. He'd heard what had happened there, he'd heard of the mutiny and the slaughter of the captain and his daughter. He hadn't heard of anything pertaining to this woman though. He thinks that she may still be lying, and sits back to listen some more.

*The woman shakes her head, causing dark curls to wisk across her face as she whispers softly, low enough for only the two of them to hear.*

"Las' I heard, t'was a mutiny gone wrong. The ship wound up catchin fire. Whether it sank, nobody knows fer sure... but several bodies washed up ashore of a couple islands. It's rumoured that the traitor and his would be first mate escaped though... apparently there's sum sort o'new spy system a foot. Best not let it be known where yer from lass..."

"I'd likely rather not be tellin it." she replies. "Now, do you know where I be findin' a healer in this place?" she asks, trying to change the subject. "I'd rather not be loosin' my life to that scum." she's not shocked at hearing what had happened. She'd also not be shocked to find out her father is dead. She is glad that the supporters of the mutiny are dead though, because she'd rather not have to come face to face with them, ever again.

Siryn takes a long sip from her tankard and holds it up for more.

*The captain had turned around in her seat at the sound of her 1st mate stumbling... while sitting no less! Giving him a half-angry-mocking glare she motions to the seat beside her*

"Dun break yer' neck eavesdroppin' ye'fool. Come sit yerself down and contribute to the conversation instead a'skulking like a scavenger!"

*With a laugh, Synn claps the girl on the back and nods.*

"We'll find ye'one tomorrow lass."

"I wasn't wantin' t'interupt two lovely lasses chattin'" Orient replies with a warm grin. He gets off his seat though, and sits down across from them "What be the news then?" he asks.

He takes some time to study the woman that had allegedly survived the Starling's mutiny. He's heard her name before, but can't remember it. He's sure he's seen her before as well. Not many have as brilliantly red hair as this, and not many have such a severe beuty. No one would call this one pretty, but her beauty could not be denied.

She's tall. He can tell that much just from her stance sitting. She's taller than Both he and Synn. He knows that she wouldn;t be able to take them in a fight though, one of them, perhaps, but anyone who knew their crew knew that where one of them went, the other was sure to follow.

Her shoulders are broad, but covered in a soft tan fabric. The styke of her clothing doesn't match her at all though. She's trying to hide who she really is. He doesn't blame her though, he'd do the same in her position.

Her face looks worried, and scared. He can tell that previously, she must have had an easy smile and a flirtatious nature, but that is all gone now. He feels sorry for her...

*Synn was busy chasing away haunted memories by finishing off her tankard and shouting for the wench who had seemed to of disapeered at the moment...

This young woman's story was all too close to her own for comfort. Drunkenly she nods at her.*

"Well Siryn.... that is yer name right girl? We'll take care o'ye fer now... If ye'like that is."

Orient's hand comes up and takes Synn's. "No ye don't, lovie. I think ye've had enough for t'night." he says. "It's time to be gettin' ya t'bed."

Siryn almost sighs with relief. "Thank you." she says sincerely. "I don' remember a thing twas happened." she admits. "An' I don' want to be meetin' them traitors alone."

She finishes off her own tankard and smiles stiffly at Orient, "I think it be nearin' the time to take to m'own bed."

*Synn pouts at Orient and leans closer to him, trailing a hand over the triangle of exposed flesh that tapers down from his neck, twining the laces from his dublet around her fingers and pulling him closer.*

"You don't wanna' spoil yer' captain's fun now do ye luv?"

*Seeing that stubbornly, her first mate and sometimes lover would have none of it she puffs out her cheeks and blows her bangs out of her face in a huff.*

"Oh fye on thee."

*Turning back to Siryn she shrugs.*

"Not a problem lassy! We'll be seein' ye' in the mornin' then."

Siryn nods and stands up, moving over to the serving wench to get herself a room. She smiles again, stiffly in thanks to the other two and then heads up the stiars, where she bars her room and cries.

Orient stands and helps his captain up. "There'll be more times, love." he says and almost carries her up the stairs to their room. The rest of the crew would most likely spend the night on the tavern floor once it closed, but he and Synn usually wound up sharing a room when they stopped overnight.

Once they get into their room, he lays her down gently on the bed and walks over to bar the door. "Ye realize that lettin' that Siryn there join us, we might have some trouble on our hands?" he asks. He's not upset about a new crew member, but he wants to make sure that Synn has thought about it before completely agreeing.

"Oh we 'kin count on it..."

*Synn says as Orient helps her upstairs and to bed.
Unlacing her bustier, she discards it on the floor and strips to just her shift. Patting the bed beside her, she waits for Orient to lay beside her before snuggling up against the warm contours of his body.*

"If we 'kin save her, so be it... if we 'kin help her get her revenge... even better. 'sides... There'll be treasure for the takin' too, be assured luv."

*Was the captain bitter and poisoned? One could say that. Mutiny betrayed everything she loved... She had no tolerance for it and having her own father murdered and her life taken away from her... Synn had a good notion of what the young woman was going through. Likely right now... she was sobbing herself to sleep...*
