Sora's eyes shot open suddenly as she yawned. Great, I took a longer nap than I thought. She thought to herself sadly. Did she miss the second exams, too? She looked around, noticing that Tanzu was packing up his things and walking away. Where did that retard thing he was going? Quietly, Sora walked up behind him, just to hear him say that it was time to leave. "Don't worry, there's always next year." Sora whispered soothingly. From the tone of his voice and the way that he was standing, Sora could only guess that he didn't make it pass the exams. "Do you mind waiting for me? I'll go back with you." The girl asked quietly, moving some of her hair behind her ear. She needed to find Shayera. To ask her how she did and all. She was sure that the older girl had passed, but just to be on the safe side. "I'll meet you out by the docks if you bother to wait for me." Sora said quietly, patting Tanzu on the shoulder for a second before dashing off toward the direction that Shayera had left. That would be... the waterfalls, right?

David GreysonSunagakure | Ichibi Host | GeninTactics | Speed | Strategy | Insanity"I could have told you you'd fail." Came David's voice from the water. His eyes were directly on the other boy's back, drilling into his head as if they could read his soul. "Your efforts were so obvious that a civilian could have seen it. No, a blind civilian." He stated, amending quickly after wards. His words would most likely anger the seemingly volatile boy, but he really didn't care. It was the truth, and the sooner he accepted it, the sooner he could improve himself. "The test was of stealth, yet you were passing notes together. Not exactly stealthy." David scoffed, standing slowly to his feet. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go." The boy said, suddenly vanishing in a swirl of sand. In reality, he simply relocated himself to the other end of the quicksand once more. The girl had said something about a waterfall, and for some reason, that interested him. Thus, he left the desert area, headed for where he assumed the waterfall to be. Tanzu just listened, no, just...stared at the ground. The words didn't seem to go through his head. They just came in one end...and were consumed by hate. "I feel like tearing off heads..." he muttered, eyes turning a deep violet. His chakra had spiked, bringing a cold and cruel essence to it...

The Stories Never Told The results couldn't have been more bitter for Tanzu. All of his teammates. Except. HIM. Failure. Disgrace, shame, fool, moron, Baka, MONSTER!!!! Turns out there was still hate in his heart...he felt like imploding, sending all of creation with him. He stood, taking the scroll with him. Just genin wind jutsu and gen... "Might as well leave..." he muttered, practically not noticing Sora... (Wait, what? Stories, you really need to wait for the crew to do these things, you cant do it yourself. This is just like how you were not allowed to start the Hachibi attack by yourself.)

((...? I'm a bit confused by what you mean. What in that post says anything that I did something wrong? The results came in, and Tanzu wasn't included. For the other, WHY on earth should I need crew permission to start a fight knowing my limits?))

Shayera Nara ll Genin ll Sunagakure no Sato ll Fuuton ll K ageton -------------------- Shayera re-enters the Oasis, noting that she seems to be alone. A sigh escapes her lips. Finally, some peace and quiet, she thinks, relieved. She pulls the sheet of folded paper out of her bag, smoothing it once again on a rock and glancing over the writing. She still needs to learn three more jutsu. Damn. She sighs yet again, stretching her arms up towards the clear blue sky. Her skin still feels raw and stiff from the burns and that ointment that the nurse put on them really isn’t helping. She looks over her notes. Name: Daisan no Me (The Third Eye) Description: A Ninjutsu technique where the ninja uses sand to create an eye through which they can clearly see without fear of being seen. Perfect for spying or collecting information, or targeting an opponent while guarding himself with a wall-defense.
Name: Kaze no Totsunyuu (Rushing Winds) Description: Crafting a genjutsu around their opponent, the enemy will immediately notice the wind kicking up and beginning to blow violently against them, intensifying to such a degree that vision and mobility become severely hampered. Directions such as up or down become increasingly difficult to separate and even after the genjutsu ends the enemy is often left feeling extremely disoriented and nauseous.
And finally: Name: Suna Tsume (Sand Claws) Description: Coating their hands and forearms with sand, the user expels chakra to harden and lengthen the sand to create claw like gauntlets on each arm. They make good offensive weapons as they allow the user to make swiping attacks towards an enemy, or try and disarm a weapon-wielding foe, while at the same time providing excellent protection for the hands and upper arm against bladed weaponry.
Shayera sighs, running a hand through her hair. It’s going to be a long day. She realizes, irritated, that she can’t learn Suna Tsume or Daisan no Me, because they’re both Sunaton jutsu. She can’t even teach herself the Genjutsu because she needs someone to do it on. She folds the paper and stuffs it into her bag, pissed. She needs someone to spar with. Shayera grabs her bag, straps her kunai and shuriken holster around her leg, picks up Kyodai, and heads out, figuring that she might as well go to Nikko’s for some food.

David GreysonSunagakure | Ichibi Host | GeninTactics | Speed | Strategy | InsanityWalking into the desert once more, David decided once more that he didn't feel like crossing it. The quicksand was more hassle than it was worth, and he'd much rather do his training out here than go through it. Thus, he wandered off to the side again, making sure not to go too far in case the girl missed him. She had said her name, hadn't she? Sora, wasn't it? Shaking that aside, the boy unhooked his gourd, letting it and his staff fall to the ground. He should probably get a secondary hitch for the staff... Pulling off his backpack, he set it against the gourd and pulled out his big a** scroll of sand jutsu, planning on learning something new. Rolling it out, he began to scan through. It would have to be something good, those mist ninja were fearsome. But then, wouldn't they use water? That could be a problem... He should have grabbed a wind scroll... And why did that idea amuse the Ichibi so much?! Sora walked toward the Oasis, scanning the camp grounds with her eyes. The boy was nowhere to be seen. He wasn't even crossing the quicksand at all. But before Sora turned on her heels and left, she spotted the boy somewhere to the side, not too far away. With a slight sigh of relief that he hadn't abandoned her, the girl walked over to a rock near where the boy was training and sat on it. She was actually kind of enjoying this. It wasn't in her nature to carry on conversations, usually, and it seemed that the boy wasn't that much of a conversationist himself. But this was perfectly fine. Just sitting on a rock, relaxing, and watching others train to become stronger. Sora was always more of a supportive type, after all.

David GreysonSunagakure | Ichibi Host | GeninTactics | Speed | Strategy | InsanityAs he was skimming through his scroll, David stopped and blinked. How had he never noticed that jutsu before? That single jutsu could replace all of this sand he was lugging around everywhere... Though the element of surprise would be lost. No, he would keep his hidden supply. But this jutsu was something he would have to learn. Glancing around after reading through the instructions one more time, David attempted to find something he could use to practice on. The most handy thing was that big rock over there... But it seemed to have sprouted a female occupant. No, she probably wouldn't like that. Quickly finding another rock, actually a little bigger than the other, but mostly buried in the sand, David went to work. The jutsu was based around somehow deconstructing matter, crushing it down to the point it would become sand. he could do that already by making his sand grind around below the earth, or so he had read, but this seemed a bit faster, and more convenient. Holding out his right hand, he laid it against the rock, and began to focus chakra into it. The chakra would travel out of his palm and through the rock, racing about within until it finally began to crumble from the inside out. After a couple of seconds, it did just that, the outer shell of the stone cracked, and finally crumbled, the stone no more, and instead a bit more sand in the desert. It wasn't exactly how the jutsu was meant to be used, but he had decided to mess with it. It was useful either way. After watching the sun move across the sky and the boy train, Sora began to feel a little bit... worried? No, that wasn't the correct word. Anxious sounded a lot better than worried. Tanzu hadn't tried to break out of the hospital yet, which was something completely and utterly unlike the boy. Sora actually half-expected him to come dashing toward the Oasis sometime soon. Unless... Had Sora really hurt his feelings that much when she told him that she had abandoned him when he had needed her most? It was possible, and the most likely answer to why the boy wasn't trying to be himself at the moment.
Sora hopped off of the rock just when the boy got the outer layer of a much larger rock to disintegrate to sand at the boy's feet. A small smile came to the girl's face as she wrote in the sand with her finger quickly. The note read, "Good luck with your training, and do good in the exams, senpai!" Then she left the desert toward the hospital. Not only was her guilty conscious eating away at her, but she had a really bad feeling that something bad was happening.

David GreysonSunagakure | Ichibi Host | GeninTactics | Speed | Strategy | InsanityDavid smiled, pretty much able to feel the girl leaving through the sand. He truly did feel better in a desert. So she was on her way back again. He didn't mind her leaving, having found it increasingly difficult to understand what he was meant to do. Being sociable had never been one of his defining traits, even before the sealing. It was easy to guess where she had gone. She was going to check up on the other boy, despite having claimed she needed to stay away. Devotion wasn't overcome that easily. Turning back to his scroll, David decided to make this an entire session. He would learn all he could, and then rest until the test. Upon this next skimming, he found a few tricks that interested him, though he decided to do them in a backwards order. Ones he probably wouldn't use leading up to ones he would. The first on his list was the sand pit, it was interesting enough, create a pool of quicksand and suck people in. Good for if he wanted to keep people away from him. Though the kazekage probably wouldn't be too happy about that... She didn't seem to care much what you wanted after all. As he was about to move on to trying out the jutsu, he spotted a fourth that would go good with it. But it required he not be on sand. Interesting. He would save the pit for later then. In that case, the next on his list was what had been titled sand rope. An interesting jutsu, that did exactly what it sounded like. And in his hands, would probably be more useful than anyone else using it could dream. Channeling the necessary chakra into the desert floor, David activated the jutsu. A strand of rope like sand immediately burst from the ground, and launched towards his staff. Upon reaching it, the rope wrapped itself firmly around the metal pole, and with a yank of David's hand, brought it flying back to him. Catching the pole in his hand the boy released the jutsu, allowing the sand to fall back to the ground. Wonderful. The uses for that, were nearly endless. Retrieving lost items was only one of dozens of things he could use this for. On that note, he stabbed the pole back into the sand and turned back to his scroll. One more, and he would be finding a new spot to train. David GreysonSunagakure | Ichibi Host | GeninTactics | Speed | Strategy | InsanityThe next jutsu on David's list was almost pathetically simple, and the only reason he wanted to practice it was to be sure on the proper usage. As if the proper use meant anything to him. This one though, really, the proper way was the only way. Except in the formation part at any rate. That he could get away with cheating on. That was the great thing about his companion actually. He could do almost any sand technique, without half the hassle normal people went through. It was more mental than anything for him. Enough thinking though! It was time to work. This would have been way more fun with the girl there... He loved working with an audience. Despite his dislike of being around people, it was still insanely fun to freak them out. Letting a little sand slip out of his sleeves and run down his hands, the boy channeled the chakra for his latest technique into his hands. The sand ran down to his fingertips, extending a good four inches beyond, before it began to harden. It wrapped around his hand in a gauntlet of sorts, while the fingers elongated and sharpened themselves, leaving him eventually with two clawed hands. Looking at his hands, and then out at the empty desert, the boy sighed. Maybe he did need to start making friends after all. Learning new jutsu wasn't even fun anymore without someone to pick on with it. One last sigh, and the boy released the sand and picked up his stuff, stashing the scroll back in his pack, and reattaching all of his equipment. That completed, he left the desert. He was going to have to find a better place to practice the next technique. And shake off this sudden loneliness. Maybe he should get a fanboy. Or a clone. Clones would be kind of self serving though... Fanboy it was then! Where the hell was he going to get a fanboy?
