The lead fae didn't move from his crouch, but instead ran his palm along the edge of his blade. His palm split open and a thin line of blood mingled with the dragon blood already on the sword. He then stayed where he was, waiting for something, not taking his eyes off Bullseye.

The archer let out a sharp cry at the sudden gout of flame and slipped off his horse's back. He slapped it on the flank with a word in his own language and the beast trotted towards the fire, making a wide arc around the dragon. The archer just raised his bow, readying two arrows at once and letting them fly at Target.

Bullseye's muscles moved in his throat and took a breath determine to keep his Fea in his sites he then shouted to his brother. "BROTHER GAME OVER, we weren't told to die over this."

Target barely hearing his brothers words swatted the arrows away from him as he landed down on his fore legs keeping an eye on the archer Fea as he slowly adjusted his body to face him. Snarling lowly to see what the next move would be.

Cho heard the load roar that a dragon gave off and she stopped playing and started running.

Aphrodite was following through the trees but once Cho started to run she followed behind her running.

Cho noticed Aphrodite come out of hiding, but said nothing. She continued turning one bend and sees smoke start to rise she quickened her pace. She now knew something was really wrong and if the fire was not put out soon the whole forest would go. She turned a couple more bends and came to a sliding halt. Seeing everything laid out in front of her.

Aphrodite almost didn't see her stop and run a little past and also came to a halt seeing both dragon and fae bleeding and some of the trees on fire.

The lead fae's eyes narrowed at Bullseye's words. He remained where he was, his bleeding palm still cupped around the blade of his sword.

"I would not kill you," he said quietly, "No, that would be far to wasteful. But I will let you and your brother withdraw peacefully... it is more than you gave us."

Behind Target, the fae's horse grabbed the tunic of the wounded fae and started to drag him away from the fire. The archer was circling around as well, keeping his bow raised between him and the dragon, making his way to where the tree wall smoldered.

Bullseye refused to comment his ignorance on what the Fea could and couldn't do, more so it seemed he was true to his word. Chances are he is aware that they were just a distraction but he wasn't about to turn his back or let his guard down.

Target watch the strange behavior of the fae's horse more so he watched the fae but then took his eyes off the archer and saw what looked like a young hatchling with fay wings. "Neither do we, only a favor, and it has been full filled, and it seems we still have no better knowledge of this situation, though the intention was to learn both sides. Perhaps if your herald stays with the elders the paths will crossed."

"So be the voices that have spoken upon the wind," the elder concluded in solid fashion, watching the ring begin to disassemble.

---

The speck grew larger in the afternoon sky as they closed in. With its speed, they all were certain that they were not only chasing it, but it wanted to meet them head on.

'Fly a spread to either side,' Tumlar directed to whom he had in tow. Immediately there was more space as the assigned gave him more flight room. They were far from Genyiel Circle leading a training run, the pastel blue dragon with fog white belly showing youngers the lay of the land while visiting stations of the knights along the way.

Then there had been a voice that neither the blue dragon nor his bound could quite make out. For a while, it almost seemed to disappear completely.

Fall back,' Tumlar ordered before pumping his wings for an extra burst as they drew closer to the blot that had now become a lone dragon. When the two met, words were shared between the two, Tumlar turned back to those he had brought with him. 'Fae have appeared in clan territory. We've been asked to briefly speak with a local clan leader in regards to this. We will be following the other dragon back,' he explained. 'Tight spin and wings out!'

The dragon knight with his Bound on his backside, turned and began to fly.

The lead fae didn't reply, merely watched the dragons closely as they withdrew. The archer had reached the fire and held out one hand towards it, whispering softly in his own language. The flames quieted and died away, leaving the path between him and his downed companion clear. He knelt by his friend's side, one hand drifting across his body while he closed his eyes in concentration. Then he snapped his head up and looked over at his captain.

"Dia thue kri na mahns.... saurn tias," he said, "Ahas dia furen."

The lead fae frowned and nodded, finally standing and wiping his sword free of dragon and fae blood before sheathing it.

---------------

The herald turned to Blade and Astalder and nodded.

"Well then," he said dryly, "That's settled. I am Sir Leverne, knight of the Silver Rose. We'd best be off now... time is short. May I be permitted to ride upon your back?"

The squire pair soared over the land while keeping fairly close to their captain. They followed Tumlar's orders as carefully as they could, determined to do their best even if this was just a training run.

At the mention of fae being within the territory, Warden snarled some. He did not trust the fae, and their presence in the dragon lands could not be a good sign at all. After shooting a glance back at his rider, he did as ordered and spun about to head in the other direction.

--

"I am Astalder, and this is my bound, Blade," the black dragon replied to Leverne, "Climb aboard and hold on. I'll be taking off once you're secure."

With a sigh, the thief went ahead and jumped onto Astalder's backside and got into position. He glanced at the Fae knight and awaited for him to join.

Leverne climbed up behind Blade, marveling for a moment at the harness. For such an ordinary looking thing, the fae certainly seemed to hold it in high regard. Then he settled himself. He was far lighter than he looked.

"I'm ready," he said, "Fly to the south-west, where the land starts to break up into ridges of rock. I cannot pinpoint our traitor exactly, but I can sense his general location."

"Provided he isn't actively trying to throw me off," Leverne muttered, more to himself and low enough that only Blade could hear.

Bullseye seeing the blade being sheathed, he huffed as he had to look now to see how badly the cut was, he didn't expect something made that would penetrated his scales what seem to him so effortlessly, Slowly he lowered his body to the ground in a relaxed state to show he wasn't going to try anything other then to check himself. Clarefully he moved his head around to look at his injured leg to see how deep and large the cut was.

Target felt uneasy as he saw his brother moving but he did what he did and just lazily laid down, but he was wondering about this new Fea couple that appeared, they pair were quite pretty to look at and he was now wondering how many of these fea were going to cross the boarder and how many were there. And where the hell is the other dragons in the territory.

Cho looked at directly at the lead fae and the dragons and looked quite disappointed but she walked close to them all and finally say, "If you permit me, I can heal your wounds?" She seems to be talking to all of them.

Aphrodite just looked at her wondering? And then just watched and waited.

Once his two riders were in place, Astalder took off into the air. As he was instructed, he headed south-west. It likely wouldn't take them too long to reach the area Leverne had mentioned, but he kept an eye on the ground in case something of interest shows up sooner.

"The others who were with you are looking for him too right? Would he be able to throw off all three of you at once?" asked Blade, though it may be a bit difficult to hear him with the rushing winds as they traveled.

Already ahead of them, the black dragon was able to spot the rocky terrain. If the fae's quarry was on foot, he'd most likely have trouble moving about quickly in such an area. Maybe that'd make things a little easier for them..

At Cho's appearance the lead fae snapped his sword out of the sheath again, holding it out with the point directed at Cho. He narrowed his eyes.

"See to the dragons if you wish," he said quietly, "I'll have no further delays."

And carefully, keeping his sword between him and the other party, he walked over to where the wounded fae was. They spoke briefly in their own language and then the archer hoisted his companion, laying him across the back of one of their steeds and seeing to tying him to the saddle.

-----------------------

"He could... do a lot more than throw us off his trail," Leverne said carefully. He seemed wary about talking about his quarry. "You see, he holds power over us. The fae, that is. We only stand a chance of hunting him down because he is wounded and weakened and because we have the blessing of the court. That may allow us to overcome his glamors."

He was silent for a moment, distinctly uncomfortable to be talking about this.

"If you sense an area that you seem unwilling to pay any attention to, say so. That will be where he is."

-----------------

Kocerou glanced at the sky and let out a hiss of frustration. He stood, quickly fastening up his gambeson and arranging his armor about him again, wincing at his injuries.

"Any that would come with me, do so now," he said quietly to those around him, "I must continue on. My pursuers are on the move again and I fear they've found aid."

Without waiting for an answer, he mounted his steed again and started heading northeast.

Target snarled as the sword came out again. "Just Go, arrogant Fea!"
Bullseye gave Target a glare wishing he would stop now.

Listening to the Fae, it seemed that his quarry held quite a bit of power. Still... he probably didn't have so much power as to cause a body swap like Sain did not too long ago. In any case, Blade made a mental note to take extra caution when they're near the guy.

Still high above the ground, Astalder scanned the area below while keeping what Leverne said in mind. As of yet, he hadn't been able to spot anything, but as his eyes looked over a part of the forest, he had an urge to just glance it over as there likely wasn't anything of interest there. He nearly fell for it too, but was quickly reminded of the warning.

"Over there in the southwest," he pointed out while looking in that general direction.
