TolinDamn, Solaris was awful in individual combat. It was understandable if he was a tad rusty as he had only recently reacquired his gem, but this was simply mediocre. Psychics were especially ineffective against one another due to their individual bodies being lined with the same type of energy. Not to mention Psychic attacks often had perfect counters of the same type; psychokinetic force could be balanced with further psychokinetic force, for example. Solaris had had plenty of time to attempt to counter that Psychic, yet he didn't. Hadn't Jupiter trained him for combat...? Tolin's eyes flitted back and forth between the two combatants. If Alfred fired another blast like that, he might have to scoop Solaris out of the way. " Double Team, then." Tolin began his explanation, ignoring the fight in front of him. " Double Team can be manifested in a large number of ways, but all have the same goal. The ideal behind the ability is to create an illusory copy of yourself. There's quite a few ways to do this, of course. Using an extreme burst of speed to confuse your opponent is the easiest. Many pokemon also sculpt a clone through innate abilities. Some still combine the two. Your best scenario would be to sculpt an illusion of yourself. You can do this one of two ways; you can attempt to influence an individual's mind directly and implant the concept or you may attempt to form one out of pure psychokinetic energy." His body shuddered slightly as the half-visible clone waltzed forward to Solaris. The voice sprouted from the clone's mouth. " Of course, different methods will work better against and for different people. Depending on the effort and concentration, the capabilities of your clone can change vastly." The clone pulled his foot back and kicked forward, sending a rock sailing through the air. " Of course, the more invested you are in the clone, the more potential backlash the technique can have."

LeonWith another bright flash, Leon had teleported into the fighting area of the dojo. He watched the two begin to fight out of the corner of his good eye. He was really watching Tolin, and how the Scyther taught the Espeon. Judging from Solaris' skills in battle, it was no wonder he had hired Leon and his crew to train these guild members. He couldn't even teach a Pidgey how to fly if he had to.

   Solaris---Alfred---Orion
"Get up, Solaris! Your guild's been destroyed twice over by now!" The Espeon lifted his head in a daze, eyes wide as he saw the Gardevoir raising his arms to prepare another Psycho Boost. Alfred stopped suddenly though, lowering his hands and then raising one to the golden collar around his neck. He seeme to be thinking over something and then finally unsnapped it as well as the belt at his waist to toss to the side. The Gardevoir cracked his knuckles and shifted with one foot behind the other and his arms held out parallel over eachother. "I'm going to give you a bit of an advantage here, Solaris. I wont use a single move against you except Fighting Type." "Well that's generous of yo-" The Espeon was preparing to snap out a sarcastice comment when Alfred vanished and appeared right in front of him, Solaris's paws raked the ground as he scrambled to get out of the way as the Gardevoir raised a fist into the air and brought it down. The Espeon escaped the initial blow, only to be sent flying by the shock wave of the Focus Punch. The ground around Alfred's fist seemed to explode upward, dust and clods of dirt flying around from the area of impact. Landing ungracefully on his back, he had no time to even sigh with relief that he was still alive before Alfred advanced on him once more. 'Double Team, Double Team!' Solaris shook, suddenly splitting into five seperate Espeon illusions. "Ha! Which ones the real me?!" "...the one speaking." "Crud." The Gardevoir shook his head and raised his arm to fire a Focus Blast at Solaris.

Tolin" Ohh, very good." Solaris picked that up quite quickly. Often, learning the very basis for the technique was the hardest part. To be able to leap to five clones was quite impressive, though it remained to be seen how well he could control any of them. And, given Alfred's self-imposed restriction, it would be an excellent time to practice. Though, he did hope the Gardevoir would restrain himself... if he kept attacking like that, it would definitely cost more to repair the area than he was earning. " Vacuum Wave, then. The principle is simple, but the application is difficult. You need to create and sustain an area of 'nothing'. No dirt, no air, no water. Once that is done, simple force it forwards as if it were a projectile. Most pokemon augment this through the use of their fists, but that's obviously something you're incapable of. Try using your paws or your tail to start the "rift" and then hold it together using psychic." Good luck, Solaris~ Vacuum Wave was not an easy ability to learn. Especially when you run on four legs.

Team Cupric was wandering the streets of the Kingdom when they happened upon a ridiculously large building. " ...Whoa." They opened the door, walked in, heard barely audible screams issuing from somewhere in the building. Without really thinking, Imiti started running forward toward where they were coming from. " Hey, wait! It's too--" As he was being brought along in the water-backpack, Celsus's comment went unheard. " Face, meet fin."

Leon"Remain completely focused on the space before you." Leon had his paws together in front of him, a form of meditating he often used when teaching. "Many techniques are very psychological in their application." He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. "Ignore everything around you, even your opponent. You're a Psychic type, albeit a weak one, so you should be able to have some sense of what is going on, even when your senses are focused on one task."

   Solaris---Alfred---Orion
'C'mon dammit. Do it already.' While Solaris flailed about trying to use the new technique to no avail, Alfred was slowly losing his patience. The entire reason he'd dragged the Espeon here with his pendant was to force him into using THAT move. Solaris had done it once or twice before, but never intentionally. It seemed to be mostly when he was angry and the Gardevoir had every intention of pushing him over the edge. With Focus Blasts raining overhead Solaris managed tp swing his paws with enough force to conjur...something. Wait....hearts? Small pink hearts began to flicker around his front paws and he growled at them. Finally a sudden gust of air pushed his paws apart and he watched as a flickering spiral of...well...nothing...hurtled past the Gardevoir's face. Damn, he'd missed! Alfred paused, raising a hand to a small slice that had nicked his cheek. "Is that it, Solaris? You'll make poor prey for that Weavile in this case!" Something snapped in the Espeon, exactly what Alfred had planned though the Gardevoir didnt realize the consequences of his success until it was hurtling at him. Solaris opened his mouth and screamed, a feral and distorted shriek that blasted visible sound waves at the other Psychic. Roar of Time. The shock of the attack caused the Gardevoir to hesitate for a split second and a sudden flash filled the small room as he was flung back into the opposing wall, the structure shattered behind him and burying him under the rubble.
Solaris blinked as the light faded and the dust settled. "I DID IT!" Yaaaaayyyy-Hrk. "Oh s**t! Alfred!"

TolinTh... That was his vacuum wave...? That was oddly fitting. A small, repressed chuckle took hold of the Scyther until Solaris managed to blast Alfred back through the wall. " Ah, hell." Those walls were thick. Alfred was definitely dead if he was the one who broke those walls. Hopefully the blast carried past him and softened them up, a little... Or else the entire guild was screwed. Tolin was over at the crumbled wall in short order, his mind stretching outwards to try and discern the location and condition of his friend. He would start digging (as best he could) the moment he found him.

Leon"... I'll be damned," uttered the Jackal Pokemon as he saw what Solaris had done. Lifting his paw, some of the rubble began to lift up and out of the way. "Dig him out before he suffocates. Funny as it would be, he's still the guild master of Rebirth..." Damn, Leon, you really are an a*****e.

" GAH!" Imiti had reached the area that he had identified to be where the unusual sounds were coming from, only to be hit with a stray piece of wall. He was knocked over, just barely not landing on the water backpack. Oliver arrived as Imiti was getting up. " Oh, dear. You people really did make a mess of things, didn't you?" Motioning for Imiti to come help, the Poliwhirl immediately began digging through the rubble. " Celsus, mind getting that Aqua Ring up?"

   Solaris---Alfred---Orion
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Solaris whined, pawing through rubble with an occasional Psychic used to toss some larger pieces aside. 'Solaris.' "...did...anyone hear that?" 'Solaris!' "...oh Arceus...it's begun. He's dead and he's gonna haunt me!" 'GET OFF ME!' "Oh!" The Espeon jumped from the slab of wall he was standing on and slipped his tail under it to help lift it with an Iron Tail. "Alfred! Thank Arceus you're al-...PFFT..." "What? Uhh, my back. Eveything hurts...Why are you making that face-...I can see!" "...Uhhh...Alfred...promise you wont be mad at me..." "Why? What did you-"The Gardevoir, or rather what once was a Gardevoir paused to stare at the hand he'd extended into an accusing point before blinking both eyes. It wasnt that he could see again. It was he'd been turned to a past form that could see. "You-You-YOUUUU! IDIOT! WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!" The Kirlia shrieked, standing to clutch his head in horror. No! Not the Kirlia phase again! "I'm SORRY!" [D;]

TolinTolin was surprised, but didn't give it a second glance. This was really just the icing of the bullshit cake that was most of the things that happened in this guild. He missed the old days. Things were simple. You went out, you took jobs, you got paid. Everyone was happy. Everything was SIMPLE. Now it's goddamn interference from gods and legendaries and traveling through time and all kinds of weird crap. God dammit. Whatever. " I take it we'll be headed back to Rebirth, then?"

   Solaris---Alfred---Orion
Alfred was not listening to anyone at that point, he was currently far too preoccupied with cussing out Solaris in a mix of English and French that he didnt even hear Leon's snippy remarck or Tolin's suggestion. It was made all the more humourous that the Espeon was now taller than him and still looked terrified of the small Kirlia. Orion, blitzed out on happy tea, padded into the room with a skip and paused to examine the tiny Psychic there with his head cocked to the side. "Alfred! You look different.......new haircut?" The Kirlia huffed and turned sharply towards Tolin, finally realizing what he'd said. "I cant teleport. We werent permitted to have that move when I was a child." "I can do it!" "I WOULDNT TRUST YOU TO TELEPORT A ROCK LET ALONE ACTUAL POKEMON!" Solaris couldnt help but snicker, being chewed out by adult Alfred with his rasping deep voice was scary, but this pitched little girly tone was hilarious!

TolinTolin sighed. This was... troublesome. " How high a level of discretion do you wish to employ? I would understand if you would prefer this event stay a secret. Presuming Orion doesn't come upon a convenient moment of clarity, I know a few people who could teleport us the distance if necessary." He really did hope that Solaris wouldn't egg the now-Kirlia on. Alfred could probably kill him if he got angry enough, even if he was much younger.
