Killing Optimus off again would be really stupid and lack emotional clout ...
Saying that, it lacked clout in Revenge too, it was so appallingly written (The script) that it relied on Lennox's reaction to sell the moment (Consequently Josh Duhamel nailed it); could have been a LOT better!!

now that shockwave is confirmed for transformers 3,what kind of vehicle mode would you want him to have,for me it is ether a cybertronian jet(like his war for cybertron incarnation),a cybertronian tank(like his animated incarnation)or a cybertronian helicopter(like beast machines obsidian)

Hmmm.. true, Optimus's death is something to only pull off once in a series.
Meh, I don't blame the script writers. They have alot of pressure from us fans. XD

Shockwave... hmmm.... I'd go a cybertronian tank. Just not like the first game made him into that little gun station and helicopter.

out of my three options,i want to see him as a cybertronian helicopter,just a question theif,how many transformers have a cybertronian helicopter mode,well i only know one,beast machines obsidian.

They're far too blase on the audio commentary about the things they did wrong (Grave yard scene anyone?)

i mean the cybertronian tank or cybertronian jet are nice alt modes,but shockwave was never a cybertronian helicopter befroe,it would be nice to see a change.

big tramsformers 3 news
in chicago, people filmed the set,showing three or four nascar race cars tricked out with weapondry(fans dubbed the stunticons),ratchet,bumblebee,jolt,unamed red Ferrari 458 Italia autobot,and optimus prime with his gen1 tralier ,ya he has his tralier

Maybe you as a fan are happy that he has it and I will admit to having a little chuckle to myself when I saw it but I seriously hope they do better with it then the G1 version ... sweatdrop
Though Nani, I've worked out what they did to change Optimus now!! In film 1 and 2, Optimus' style of lorry would have been incapable of hauling that style of trailer and so his modifications come in making him capable of carrying a 'curtain sided' or container trailer instead of a nice basic flat bed (Which doesn't look very dramatic!!).

Oppy's trailer vanished all the time in G1, he didn't always get it back but in Animated Optimus' 'trailer' turned into his axe so he always had it. XD
