Yep, MS Paint will do it Or if you don't have paint you can upload the whole Screen Shot to photobucket and crop it in there
and I can tell you how to do it on a Linux machine too but I doubt your using one of those
I have no idea how to do it on a mac

SozakuNixe Miss Blissy I want to enter this one, but I really don't want to go through the effort of figuring out how. Perhaps I'll do it tomorrow... I'll ask my dad today how to take a screen shot. One question: can I do this without having photoshop or anything like that? -
depends are you using a mac or windows? if you have windows then you can use paint. (printscreen button will make a screenshot)
if you have a mac you can crop using the preview application (it comes with your computer) all you do it select the area you want and then press Apple+k or cmd+k (apple and cmd are the same key) or you can look under the tools menu for the crop option.
if you are using a mac you can take a screenshot by pressing Shift+Apple+3 (Shift+cmd+3) you should hear a camera noise as you press them all
Feel free to ask if you have questions biggrin
- Thank you so much! (I have a mac). I took a screen shot (funky little camera noise eek ) but now what? I tried command+k but nothing happened. I feel so stupid redface

They didn't used to, I've been able to get them to save accurately from there for a while now though. I just keep forgetting I can do it D: The last time I needed to (prior to here) was when making a post with a reference in the 'It's like they were made for each other' thread.

Go to you your applications and find the one called "Preview" and then select the area you want and THEN hit apple+k lol OR there is an easier way XD I tested what pig said and you can right click your avi in the dressing room and just hit "save image as..." lol but knowing about preview is always good biggrin
