 Adonia grinned. "I didn't do that Gabe." She put her chin on top of her knees, wrapping her arms around her legs. "Although I suppose I could try to make..." She fiddled around with something in her hands.

Adonia look down at the glittering water. "Pretty, isn't it?" she asked glumly, slightly repelled. "It's too bad..."

Otherwise, he wouldn't have responded to your comment, right?" he inquired, turning to Shania as she finally arrived on the beach. "I'm sorta jealous that you have such a good relationship with your parent, though I know that we can only be so close to them at times. But at least your father replies or responds to you. I hardly get a letter or a cold chill from my father..." He then turned completely to Shania. "About time you showed up! Let's go for a swim." Gabe joked to Shania. He stood and held out a hand to Adonia. "Care to go for a dip?" he asked her, staring deeply into her sharply blue eyes.

Adonia grimaced at the water, staring at it like it might bite her. "Are you sure....?" She asked, stepping closer to the water, still wearing her jeans and camp half-blood shirt. "I don't know..."

Adonia reluctantly shed her clothes, revealing a bright, lightning blue swimsuit beneath. She tested the waters, before finally swimming out to waist height. "Well, I can't say I'm the best swimmer," she laughed, splashing Gabe.

"Adonia Clearwater," she said, extending a pale hand, shaking Shania's. "I guess you've met Gabe, huh?" she grinned, ducking under the water and coming up, her curly black hair now straight and flattened to her head.

Adonia splashed Gabe back, laughing. She swam down, picking up a sand-dollar. She swam back up, gasping. "Who wants it?" she asked, holding it out. "You can buy a lot of things with a sand-dollar."

Adonia reached down and picked up another one. "This part of the beach is full of them." She exclaimed. She gave Gabe the first one. "Spend it on something good, okay?"

Against whatever might betide...>> »"Oh wow. I was never informed of that." he explained, taking the sand-dollar from Adonia and tossing it around in his hand. He looked up at her and smiled. "You bet. I might use it to pay back Lyra if she decides to make a quite upgrade to my sword." he noted, looking at the direction from the Camp. "Oh, you doing anything tonight? Wanna hang out at the pavilion? We don't see eachother often. Just thought it might be nice to have a good conversation with someone for a bit." he asked Adonia kindly, trying to get her to agree. He was truly bored out of his mind now that winter was over, and instead of being couped up in his cabin, he would rather spend it outside and talk.
