My mouthpiece tore bits of my lips off ;n; It was really cold, it was a competition, at the end, we snap horns down, and I didn't realize my lips had frozen to the mouthpiece ._. It hurt, needless to say. I've also tripped quite a lot, and in recovery, my mouthpiece would hit my teeth or gums, and that hurts on occasion.. And there are those times when I bring my slide to first in practice and my skin gets caught and pinched. I've burned my hand on my instrument before, too. It was a festival, and our band was in the parade. It was HOT. Like, cook an egg on the sidewalk hot. We sat down at our designated area for 'bout an hour, and when we went to get into formation, I picked up my trombone from the once shaded, now illuminated spot and it burned me. ;n; I also have a tenancy to try to adjust my rather difficult tuning slide and PUNCH MYSELF RIGHT IN THE FACE. I'm surprised my trombone hasn't killed me yet ;n;

TT Yess my Trumpet has. Well either that or my friend's clarinet. TT any way first football game and I went to sit in the bleachers. Well My clarinet friend said."I'll catch you if you fall. I wish she didnt say that cause next thing I know I fell. She didn't catch me and I saved my trumpet, ended up hurting my back, my wrist and my trumpet got one little dent. I was fliping out over my trumpet and my music was spilled all over the place.

Epic Irony I play in parades after marching season is over, and it gets very cold here. My trumpet mouthpiece has a nasty habit of freezing to my lips, and I have to either rip the skin off, or pour scalding hot water on it. My friend has scars on the inside and outside of his lips where he was playing trumpet, and had braces... And got kicked in the back of the head while playing. It wasn't a pretty picture. Lol We (the band people who have all the scars) go over to the dance room which is right across the hall, and we laugh and say, "And you think you have it worse than us?" Then we bleed on them while they scream extremely high-pitched girly wails of terror and disgust. We just laugh. xp eek just hold your mouthpeice in your hand a few muinets before you get on the feild. then i wont stick to you.

The horn of my Baritone is right level with my head. I've hit it so many times. Don't even get me started on how many times I've busted my lip with my mouthpiece...

I never started getting hurt til high school. My bass clarinet post screw is slightly stripped and it slides if it isnt tight enough and ALWAYS when I am playing, so the mouth peice hits my lip into my teeth. Marching mello during pregame, I hit a tuba with my bell and the mouth peice of my mello came back and hit me in the mouth. Couldnt play the rest of the game. During band camp, I was setting up and the triangle clamp pinched me and I dropped it and the beater went into the marimba. Yes, IN the marimba pipes. My finger hurt really bad...

Accidentally brought my school alto into my face and actually broke the skin on my nose. Have also brought my flute mouthpiece up to my mouth too quickly on too many occasions, and the hits vary from chin to lips to teeth.

You know, that always seems to happen to the saxophones. I was just sitting in band class last year, and I moved to play and the freaking mouthpiece hit me on the head! I swear, I don't think my sax likes me very much, cause it hits me all the time razz PP

Many times.
We were running through this year's show. In the beginning, we're all in these circles on the field with one person in the middle. However, those making the circle have to be on one knee and rise up in time with the soloists in the beginning.
Keep in mind, I march bass drum. Bass 4, to be exact, which is approximately 40 - 45 pounds.
So, I'm kneeling there, and my harness is hitting the inside of my thigh. I find out later that I have this gross bruise from my harness.
Another thing about my drum, I think it constantly hurts me. Today, we had to reset these few sets in our drill. So, the band put their horns on the sideline, but the drumline (who didn't have to reset because of our position in the drill) had to keep their drums on. For six hours. Under a hot, cloudless sky. D: I can say: my back hurts.
Oh, and my harness killed my leg while I was picking up my drum. Not fun, man. Not fun.
