Moira laughed quietly at Dooma's observation, "I don' think the reverse of that would be too far off either." She motioned with her head towards the two spawn. Bleez's cheeks were getting a little pink when Vali was praising her for the gift. The color intensified as Vali gave her the big hug. Moira smiled warmly. If there was a spawn that would curb her behavior more towards the Liberality side than the Wrath side, it'd be Vali.
Bleez smiled broadly, her cheeks' color fading a bit as she rub them... until Vali gave her the present. Her cheeks burned a bright pink again. "Fer... me?" she stammered. She took the bag in her hands and placed it in her lap. Carefully, she opened it and began pulling the tissue paper out and setting it aside. When she managed to pull out enough tissue paper to see what was in the bag, she let out a squeal of joy. She plunged her hand in the bag, pulling the Rex toy out. The bag fell to the ground, she was too focused on the toy. Her eyes sparkled as they came to rest on the necklace that was wrapped around the toy.
Her mouth dropped, it was the prettiest thing she had ever been given. She looked up from the toy in her hands to Vali and smiled broadly. She lunged at him, toy and pendant still in one hand. "THANK.YOU.VALI! Thank.you.so.much! It's.great! I.love.it!" Her arms wrapped around his neck as she hugged him tightly, her tail wagging furiously. She nuzzled her blushing cheek against his own metallic one which just caused her to blush more.

Dooma watched Bleez more closely at Moira's words and then she had to nod. "Yes it seems that is also very likely." she laughed softly and took another bite or two from her chicken. She was glad Vali had found such a good friend. He really was more lively when the little Wrath spawn was around.
Vali gave a nod when she asked if the gift was for her. He smiled brightly and looked at the color that continually changed on her face. He wanted to tell her how cute she looked when she was pink along her cheeks but one just does not come out and say that to their king. He moved to the edge of his seat as she worked her way threw the paper the figure in his hand gripped tightly. He really hoped that she would like it. And not have either of them two gifts inside the bag.
He jumped a bit at her squeal. But then seeing her face he could not help but mimic her broad smile. His own cheeks darken deeply to see the look in her eyes and across the her pretty little face. His arms wrapped strongly around her waist, his ankylosaurs pressing lightly into her hip. as her wrapped around his neck. He did like her being so close. And the nuzzle made his heart beat quicker. He laughed warmly and stood up spinning her around with him. "I am so glad you like it Bleez! I was worried you wouldn't!" he slowly brought their spinning to a stop and beamed down at her. "Can I put it on you?"

Bleez giggled as he spun her, he was so strong. He really was perfect for a knight. And for some reason, she felt really happy right now. There was a strange feeling in her tummy; it was all warm but kinda felt like there were little fairies or butterflies fluttering around inside. Her heart kept beating faster too, like it was excited about something. She had no idea what any of this meant, but she felt like it was a good thing and she didn't want it to stop.
The feeling was still around when Vali set her down. She could feel her cheeks burning read. She wished that they'd both stop and not stop all at the same time. She felt a little embarrassed, this wasn't very kingly of her.
"Mmmhmm." Bleez smiled up at Vali, nodding her head slowly. She tried to get her tail to stop from wagging so it wouldn't hit him while he placed it on her. She eventually just resorted to reaching behind her back and stopping it with her free hand.
Moira smiled warmly at the two, every now and then taking a bite out of her salad or chuckling at the interaction between the spawn. With a friend like Vali, Bleez might actually have it easy growing up.... or easier at least.... there were those hormones that every growing preteen had.

Vali laughed warmly. Bleez really was very pretty. She looked so very cute when she blushed. He tried to think of what a proper knight would do in the stories when their chosen would blush and smile so brightly. could not help but laugh more when her tail kept trying to 'hit him away'. His own was swaying against the chair he had disregarded in favor or the wrath spawn's arms.
His claws fumbled a bit with the clasp but once he got it open and Bleez had her tail under control he moved close behind her and reached his hands over her head and shoulders laying the pendent against her chest before pulling his hands back. "Is it facing the right way Bleez?" He asked happily.
Dooma watched the two spawn and could not help be smile herself. They were both so happy. And Bleez certainly knew how to get Vali to smile. She was a bit shock to find herself feeling the jealousy of a parent when their child started to find another to want to be with more and more. She knew though that Vali was drawing closer to preteen stage of his life and she hoped that with a friend like Bleez it would not be too hard on him. Though seeing how Bleez was his only female friend it might not go as smoothly when she started to develop.

Bleez tilted her head from side to side, trying to get a good view of the pendant. "Um... yeah!" she managed to catch a glimpse, and she was pretty sure it was right-side up. Bleez had completely forgotten her food and it was beginning to get cold. Moira had noticed this in between bites of her own food and the curious behavior of the kids.
A thought came to Moira's mind; Bleez wasn't all that girlie. She wondered if she would remain a tomboy throughout her preteen stage, or if her hormones would kick her into being more of a girlie-girl. Moira snickered at the thought or Bleez wearing pink, her least favorite color. Guess she'd just have to wait and see when she grew.

Vali laughed and clasped the back of the necklace and let it go. "There you go Bleez, my king something fitting to show your status." he smiled brightly and made a big sweeping bow as he knelt in front of his wrath friend. He took her hand and smiled up at her. It was alright to kiss a king's hand wasn't it? That was how they did it in the old days. Kissing the rings and stuff wasn't that what he read? So he bowed his head and placed his lips lightly on the back of Bleez's hand. "I am so glad you like I Bleez! I love my ankylosaurs! He is too cool!"
Dooma chewed over a bite of food as she watched her ward drop down to his his king's hand. He really was so cute. They both were.

Bleez fiddled with the charm, turning it over in her fingers. It wasn't until she could feel something warm against the back of her hand that she looked up. The little hairs on the back of her neck stood on end as her face lit up again. It was more out of surprise and embarrassment than anything. Her heart jumped a bit; why the heck was she feeling so weird?
"I'm.glad you.liked your.Ankylosaurus," Bleez squeaked. Maybe she was just hungry, she thought. "Um, think.I.need to.eat.my.burger." Her voice was still a bit squeaky but the tint in her cheeks began to fade as she sat in her seat.
Once in place, she offered a quarter of the sandwich to Vali, scooting her plate over more in the middle of her and him.

Vali smiled and stood up as Bleez moved back into her seat. Well it seemed to have gone well. So it was find for a knight to kiss his king's hand he was right! It was either a kiss or it would have been a lick. Dinosaurs would lick each other rather than kiss. He laughed softly to himself wondering if dinosaurs even really had lips. "Oh yes you should eat. I bet it is getting cold."
Smiling Vali sat down in his chair and set his new toy on the table. It was the second gift he had ever gotten from someone else and it was really cool. He smiled and looked up as Bleez offered him a fourth of the large burger. He smiled and took it though he really was not feeling hungry. He looked over it and smiled. "Thank you Bleez." he took a bit even though he was not feeling the need to feed. It was really good though. He nods, "I think you made a good choice!"

Bleez felt a warm feeling wash over her when Vali appreciated his gift. She smiled, her face reflecting the warmth she was feeling. "I'm.really glad.you.like.it, Vali."
She took a bite of her hamburger, it was pretty good. Moira cleared her throat, getting Bleez's attention. "While you guys were out, a volunteer came around with pictures." She pulled two large, stiff pictureholders out from underneath the table, where she'd been hiding them. She handed one to Bleez and one to Vali. "I figured you two'd like to have 'em."
Bleez flipped the holder over to see her and Vali with Bronty. "Thank.you, mum!" she grinned and turned to Vali. "Now.I 'ave.a.picture of.you and.you 'ave.a.picture of.me! This.is.great!"
((We can probably start wrapping this one up in the next few posts. smile Then, when Bleez grows, if you want, we can have another! biggrin ))

Vali nods and smiles, "I do like it, I like it lots!" He smiled and took another bite of the burger. He did not think he could each much of it but he wanted to try and not let it go to waste. It was not good to waste things like this.
He turned to look at Moira when she cleared her throat. He reached out and took the picture holder and tilted his head, "We took a picture?" He watched as Bleez opened her and he did the same. "Oh wow! I remember now! Thank you!" he giggled and turned to beam a smile at Bleez, "It is great I can always have Bleez with me now!" he smiled and held the holder out for Dooma, "Dooma, Dooma! Look at us! Bronty is with us too!"
Dooma took the picture and smiled, "You two look very nice. Looks like Bleez really was a dinosaur in a past life." she laughed softly. "Thank you miss Moira."
(Oh heck yes I would love for them to meet up when they are both grown. 3nodding Though looks like that will be really soon, Congrats on Bleez's awesome growth. Looks like she could pound some sense into poor Vali xd We can even end it here if you like.)

Moira nodded, "You're very welcome."
The rest of the meal was uneventful, Bleez ended up eating three fourths of the burger and whatever Vali wasn't able to eat [thanks to her high metabolism]. Moira had made idle chitchat with Dooma, while the kids ate.
When it came time to leave, Bleez felt her heart sink as she had to tell Vali goodbye. "I.see ya.'gain!" she told him, though it was more for herself, she felt. "Real.soon!" She ran up and gave him a giant hug before her mother coughed, signaling it was time to leave. Bleez gave him one last squeeze before she released him and followed her mother to the car.
Bleez waved to Dooma and Vali, unsure if they could even see her as her and Moira drove out of the parking lot and off to home.
