Neely couldn't help but smile back. "Morning." he said wagging his tail happily. "You look..well this morning." he said hoping to not sound too eager or intrusive. "Sleep well?"

She nodded, but then shrugged. "I think Sleep is a phrase that's stretched to much." she said as she started to hover up and looked to the sky and wondered if she could see storm clouds yet. She loved a good rainstorm

Neely nodded. "Well, that's good. I wasn't exactly sure if you slept...I know AI's don't." he watched her float up and look around. "Something you're looking for?" he asked watching her closely, unable to stop himself from admiring her.

She looked down and flipped in mid-air for really no reason. "There's a storm coming today and I can't wait for it to get here" she said with an overly excited tone hidden in her voice

"Really?" he said looking up at the sky. "Must be coming in later today or tonight...clear as crystal right now. But be nice to see a good thunderstorm. Sit out watch the rain come down and listen to it pound against the roof. Its pretty relaxing. Even better with company though." he said giving her a sidelong glance wondering if she'd take the hint or not.

Too focused on the excitement of the storm, the offer blow right over head. "Yeah..even better to dance in it." she said slowly swirling to the ground. "It's supposed to come midday...at least I think so." she says as she looks at marking on her paw which faded from the usual light blue, to black

Neely's ears flicked back with disappointment as she missed his invite, but he then flipped them forward. He wasn't sure what he'd expected, at this rate it was sort of expected with her, annoying to an extent, but also charming.
He then tilted his head and watched fascinated as her paw changed color. "What's going on with your markings?" he asked.

"They reflect the weather. I don't know why, but I figured it out a long time ago" she beamed and looked up at the sky again..as if the sky was going to change in seconds

"Really? That's interesting. I don't think I've ever heard of anything like that." he said with a nod. He then chuckled. "You are full of mysteries aren't you?" he gently teased.
He then paused and considered. "You know...I know a good place to watch the horizon if you wanted to go." he said.

She chuckled. "Well that's what my AI master named me. 'Mystery'" she said as she looked back down to him.
She tilted her head. "Well why not just hover to a tree or roof top?" she asked obviously not getting that he wanted to have a romantic moment with her

"It suits you well." he said looking back up at her. "Well I was thinking more of a quiet hill top not far from town, great view, no noise from the city..." he said hoping she'd get the message.

Still not understanding, but unable to bring a valid arguing point, she shrugs. "Whatever makes you happy" she said with a small smile. Her gaze quickly snapped to the sky again, looking for even the smallest black cloud

Neely smiled, letting that answer suffice for him. You had to take what you could get after all. "It'll be fun." he said with a smile. "We could get some snacks for later this afternoon, if we don't get rained out." he said. "Make a day of it." he said brightly.

"Rained..out?? pffftt "she made a funny little face as she started laughing a bit. "Are you nuts? Miss the chance of getting soaked in a torrent of rain? I'd never run from that" she said with a huge grin. She knew it wasn't 'kosher' in this society to willingly stand in the rain and get soaked to the bone, but she just loved it too much. It made her wonder if maybe she was meant to be a water creature.
"But if you want to do all this, then that's fine. Just know, I won't leave when the rain comes" she chuckled and floated slowly to the air

"Well I meant the eating part." he said. "Hard to eat in the rain." he said with a grin. "But getting soaked never hurt anyone, besides sounds like fun."
