Acer && Crown

Acer happily hopped up with Serrin, vaguely remembering something very like this spiky boulder before. He clung onto one of the spikes, and echoed Serrin: "HELLO!" though he wasn't exactly sure why they were talking to a rock. But at least it was an interesting rock!

Crown had looked up, startled when an explosion of sand went off under one of the towers of the play structure. She saw Acer come down the slide with a Bulbasaur, and she smiled as the two of them went back on via the slide.

The second time they came back down, the two of them ran over to a Rhyhorn resting under a tree, and it looks like the two kids were being rather, uh, disruptive.

Jumping into the air with a flap of her wings, Crown made her way over to the kids and the Rhyhorn.

"Aceraceae, calm down." She told the the Turtwig, and gave an apologetic look to Puer. She wasn't exactly strong enough to drag Acer off.

"Awwww, but Crown!" Acer whined, but then he looked down and realized the rock had eyes. Ah, it was a pokemon! After a bit more prodding from the Butterfree the Turtwig hopped off.

"Sorry about that." Crown apologized, as behind her Acer spotted a butterfly and started to chase after it.

"Serrin, come come!" He cried. Crown turned, spotted what Acer was doing, and flew after the baby, telling it not to hurt the butterfly in a panicky voice.

~Damon~

A sudden spark shot through Damon's head in response to Suki's question. The moon...? Special to him? He never really even thought of that! Sure, Moon Stones tasted great, and he always loved watching the moon... but he just chalked that up to him being part Dark-type "Well, I guess you can say there is something special about it to me. You see, I wasn't the most respected Sableye back in the Mines, and whereas the other, higher-ups could take the time to go outside for...whatever it is they did, I was confined to the interior of the Mines. Of course, I could occasionally find my way around the sentries and get outside, but that was usually at night and when almost everyone was asleep. So to put a long story short, I guess you can say the Moon represents freedom to me." Now that he thought about it, the Moon represented a lot of other things. The way it controlled the tides gave it great power. Which made him think of the Guild of the Moon again, just how powerful were they, so much was unknown about them, he barely got to meet them during the battle with that Tangrowth.

Suki

Suki smiled sadly. "I can't imagine what it would be like to be trapped in the mines like that, Damon... Being underground... I'd feel claustrophobic. Cramped. I need to be able to smell fresh air." She paused, turning to look at the handsome Sableye. "You're a lot braver than I am, in that way, I suppose." She patted his shoulder gently, still smiling.

Damon tensed at Suki's touch, but then slowly relaxed. Hot damn, this was the first girl that had been able to tear the seal on the Book of Damon's life to shreds, leaving him so vulnerable and open. He laughed nonchalantly, "Nah, I wouldn't consider myself that brave. Besides this is supposed to be a happy time for us. So, tell me about yourself, anything, I'm all ears~" He smiled over at Suki, watching the moonlight glint over her reflective necklace like they were magnificent diamonds.

Suki

Suki sighed, lying down on her back and gazing up at the stars. "There's not much to tell, to be honest." Suki let her eyelids slide halfway over her eyes. She could hear Kricketot in the distance. Maybe a Noctowl, too. "Been in the guild for a while now. Nothing really... interesting about my past."

Serrin & Puer

Serrin charged off after Acer, gleefully unaware of what the pair were following.

And so, as all children do, they played. They played and the played and they played until it was getting on in the afternoon. A sort of drowsiness overwhelmed Puer and Serrin himself seemed to be content.

Puer walked over to Serrin, his feet sinking uncomfortably in the sand. "Alright, come on." Serrin turned sharply and suddenly, kicking a small bit of sand up. "Ahh, alright."

Serrin tensed his legs, leaping up onto Puer. He landed in one of the ridges of his spine where he lay comfortably, his vines wrapped around his older companion.

Puer headed back to town, giving Crown and Chronicler a nod on the way by.

Damon cocked an eye brow and laid on his back, his hands serving as a make-shift pillow. He laughed, "Well that's a shame. Oh, hey, look, the Volbeat and Illumise are out." He pointed to the black background that was the night sky. Several bug Pokemon were now buzzing busily around the sky, some red, some purple. The red ones had small bulbs on their backsides, and were always accompanied by a closely following purple one. Each Volbeat and Illumise pair traced patterns in the sky, their bright tails leaving streams of light that were seemingly connecting each individual star like one big Connect-the-dots game.

Suki

Suki smiled, watching the Bug-type soar through the sky. Damon had been right about not wanting to miss this. "Have you ever seen something so pretty?" She asked softly, her crimson eyes glued to the night sky. Between the light show, the moon, and the stars, the whole horizon was alight with tones of gold and silver. She sat up, suddenly unable to sit still. The night had a liveliness. A natural excitement. She couldn't help but want to move around.

Damon turned to look at Suki and grinned, "Oh, I have. It was earlier this evening, over at the crystal springs." He winked at her. Damon jolted into a sitting position when Suki suddenly got up. "Suki? What's up? Something wrong?" He looked at her with a concerned expression, not fully understanding what she was doing.

Suki

Suki giggled, hearing the compliment. She turned to face him the second time he spoke, her crimson eyes fixing on his dark, violet form. She smiled, and leaned over him, nervous butterflies fluttering up inside her stomach. She inched closer, and gave him a soft kiss on the lips, before pulling away slightly with a smile. Her eyes sparkled with a mixture of curiousity and amusement.

Damon stared at Suki intently, concern flooding his eyes like an incoming tide. That way she looked at him...could it? No... it couldn't mean that sh- and that was when she kissed him. His mind went blank; for that moment, there was nothing but him, Suki, and this kiss. It was a small kiss, and not his first (although he hoped Suki wouldn't find out), but this was the first to actually mean something, the first time he actually FELT something. And just like that, it was over, and Damon was left staring at Suki like a total idiot, unsure of what to say or do. Should he kiss her again, say something, say something dammit! But...what?

Suki

Suki flashed the stunned Sableye a ghostly grin.
"Surprised, Damon?" She asked him, noting the completely and utterly blank expression on his face.
She brushed the grass off his shoulder, still smiling.
She paused, frowning as she realized a few seconds later that Damon wasn't speaking. At all. He looked like he was struggling for words.
"...Damon? Are you alright?" Her voice was ringing with concern, her crimson eyes narrowed.

Damon sat there barely processing what he was hearing. Heh, surprised was an understatement, he was petrified. But that soon began to fade as a new realization was dawning on him. Something he thought he'd never feel in this lifetime. He sat up and stared at Suki, his eyes softening. He slowly leaned forward until their faces were a few inches apart, "I love you..." His words were barely a whisper, and he slowly pressed his lips against hers, a kiss that had a bit more passion than that which Suki had given him, but hopefully enough to get his point across.

Suki

Suki smiled, wrapping her hair-like tendrils around Damon's neck as she kissed him back.
She pulled away for a moment, tilting her head.
Her crimson eyes were fixed on Damon's, clouded with mixed emotions.
"I love you, too, Damon~" She murmured back, kissing him again. She felt shivers run down her spine as they kissed, and she smiled.
This wasn't quite working... "I think a change is in order..." She whispered softly, glancing down at herself.
Seriously. She was just a head and shoulders. Misdreavus didn't HAVE bodies.

Damon gazed back up at Suki when she paused, his body feeling so consumed by emotions he really didn't care what came next. When she confessed her love back it was like it was the only thing that mattered, and will matter, it meant the world to her, and he kissed her back when she continued kissing him. But then she stopped again, disappointment flickered across his face but was soon replaced by a calmer disposition, he didn't want to seem like a creep after all. He cocked an eyebrow when she mentioned a change, "A change? How do you figure?" He really couldn't care less that Suki was much more than a head, she was beautiful the way she was, although that didn't mean he wasn't interested in what she head had in mind.
