I just meant it was a bummer that there was no option to draw a male character.

I like your current avi, but not the one you had posted. That one kinda had the 'Sexy No Jutsu' feel, and if I wanted to draw it, I could pretty much just copy something out of Naruto.
Your current avi is super cute though, and really has a nice feel to it- Elven like, it's cute. -3-

I've posed as a male on the internet for several years. I know how it is, never knowing who is who and what is what. Lawl, for a while I had a boy avi and was internet dating a dude with a female avi. heart

Mei-chwan It's cute to say the least. heart Also I see that Ichigo is reverting to her avie that was used in the art contest she participated in. I vote for the next round we get a male judge so those who need practice in drawing male avatars at least have something to practice on. o.0' Thank you. Sorry, I come off as a grump sometimes. I don't mean it, but I get frustrated by too many people on Gaia. I haven't asked critique on art in years because all I would get was "it needs to be darker". emo
Achh. I might be getting to old for this site.
As for the male judge thing, it would be just as nice if... Say, if all the judges were female? Like now? Have each judge tektek a male avatar, and, I dunno, make it so that the contestants have to draw both characters, together. Or even have them pick a male friend off their friends list.
Just me, I guess. I like drawing both genders, and was a little disappointed to see that there was no option.

@ Hallucinogenic :: Sorry about the no male judges, for this round. Honestly, it would've been nice if I had gotten at least one guy avatar. But next round, I'll make sure to have the judges include a guy character to pick from. ((Also, next round isn't all avatars. It could be an original character that the judges have as well)) So hopefully, it'll be more to everyones liking.
@ Satrevi :: I'm afraid I can't change the avatar for you that's supposed to be drawn. My reasoning being that it would be unfair to others who may have already started their drawings.

@ Everyone :: Yes, it is a qualifications round. But that also means that if you want to be included in the next round, you must participate in this round.
I'm still working out the kinks in this contest so please bare with me. ><

Hallucinogenic Rainbow It's light, it's this, it's that, whatever- Rough draft. Needs suggestions. And I mean real, constructive criticism- not that it needs to be darker. 
My comments ::
The head looks a bit big for the body, and unless you were going for a chibi style, it looks a bit awkward. The body altogether could be widened. The arm on the right is a bit off. It wouldn't jut in so severely like that. Her right hand and forearm are a bit off in position. Raise them a little and I think it'd look better.
Also, I noticed the body seems to be facing the left. Which means that the breast on the right would be overlapped by the arm. Not the other way around.
All around it looks pretty nice. A few adjustments here and there will make it even better. ;D
&& Sorry if I come off as harsh with my critique/comment.

It almost looks like the twirling edges of the wing is a little uneven, or maybe it's supposed to be like that. Ichigo caught the error in torso proportion. Honestly proportion looks, I don't know if to say iffy or not since I don't know how much of an anime style you were going for y'know? Like, the difference between slightly more detailed accurate in proportion anime. Or, the anime with the bigger heads. Don't think I'm talking bad about the picture either though. It's a great picture. It reminds me of final fantasy almost.

It's a great picture. It reminds me of final fantasy almost. I do enjoy critique. It's been a long time since I've drawn a picture. I'm influenced by the art in Hoshi Wa Utau and the art in Hourou Musuko. Basically, since it's been so long for me, I see everything from the neck down as being... drawn poorly, really. I like the head, myself, other than the fact that I made the skull too big and the hair too poofy up on top, giving the character a big noggin. xD
