Ni kishi was impressed as he looked around a bit in her den, clearly she'd been realy good at digging them since there was more room in this den then there was in his, "I'm not sure what I want to do but I do have to say this, I was kinda waiting tile sun rise but since I don't see that happening anytime soon, Masie.." he said as he turned and gazed into her eyes one snow white and the other blazing red, he moved in close and kissed her muzzle softly as he spoke, " I love you, you saved my life I would have drowned back in my den for sure had it not been for you. thank you. I would hope you would do me the honor of bearing my young, they would be honored themselves to have a mother as strong and cunning as you are....." he finished with another kiss more passionate then the last upon her muzzles lips.

she blushed as he spoke and blushed more when he kissed her. she was happy that he said he loved her cause she loved him too " i love you too" she said with a smile. " i bilt this den in hopes of having a family sme day and this seemed like the best place for it. it was pretty and nere to many water supplies and there is or was a plentiful supply of food" she said a little sad for she feared what this flood would do to the food suply. sh kissed his cheek and then headed for the front entrance again to watch for the rain to stop but it looked llike it would rain for a much longer time.

Ni kishi moved up next to her sitting down to watch with her, "don't worry there will be plenty to feed our young, if I have to go all the way down to the oceans shores to get it I will, I won't let our kits sufffer thats a promise." he said as he leaned in close and kissed her once more before returning to watching the waters.

the rain continued for a few more hours till she finally decided to go to sleep it had finally began to lighten up a little but it was still storming bad. " lets head in and lay down there is nothing more we can do till morning." she then turned and headed for the inner rooms of the den.

Ni Kishi turned and followed in after agreeing that it was time to get what little rest he could. he was still worried about the flooding even as he lay next to his new mate warming up to her as she slept.

she woke sometime later and went out to the main entrance and it had for the most part stopped raining so she walked down the hill to get a drink. as she walked she looked around at the damage from the storm, it was bad there was debree everywhere but she new that time would heal the earth. she went to the edge of the nearest puddle she seem there was a couple of fish that had gotten stuck there so she went ahead and caught a couple for breakfast for her and Ni Kishi. she took her fish back to the den and stuck them in a safe place before laying back down by him as he still slept she did not go back to sleep just lay there with her eyes closed thinking about what he had said the night before both how he loved her and how he would have drowned and she new that it was very true he would have slept till he was dead for the water would hve filled the whole den and the land around before he woke to it creeping the leaf he had had blocking the enterance. it was only a matter of time now till she would have a family and she worried that they would have lost the one she truely loved. she gave a small sy and she lay there trying to sort out her mind she did love him too. she loved him very much. but only time would tell if they stayed or if they left each other and went there seperate ways.

Ni kishi stured in his slep as she laid back down he opened his eyes and looked at her, "something the matter dear?" he asked noticing that she was only half awake.

she sturred a lttle and looked at him and smiled "no nothing is wrong was just thinking about things. i love you " she said with a smile." are you hungry? i caught some fish earlier."

Ni Kishi's ears perked at the idea of food, "yea I'm a bit hungry I could use a bit if you don't mind. and I love you to darling." he said as he nuzzled her neck.

she got up and went to get her stash from earlier " here you go." she said as she gave him a fish and lay down with ine of her own. she new she would have to eat more for she would have a family of her own soon.she smiled and looked at Ni Kishi and nuzzled his neck with a huge smile.

Ni Kishi nuzzled her back before eating alittle less then half of the fish and then pushing it over to his new mate "you need to eat now to I don't need you starving because of me now, eat." he said loveingly.

Ni Kishi nuzzled her softly as she ate glad to hear the good news, abit excited at the same time, he would have to start hunting down prey for his new family immidetly and hopeful before all the prey thats left from the rains disapear or die.
