The soldiers and mages were rallied and stood atop the walls waiting for the mysterious force to attack. Matt, stood behind the wall clenching his staff. The 45th mage division will have their first taste of battle if there is an attack. Matt himself has never left the palace. He had only stayed and defended the palace. Of all the mages, he had the best magic, though he severly lacked close range combat skills. But no enemy had gotten close enough to him to attack with a blade, so he was well off. At the tip of his staff, a green light charged with wind blades around it. He would shoot the blast when he gave the mages the order to attack.

Tamuril sighed. he wanted to have fun as well. "Intruder, if you betray us if this is a battle, you will suffer painfully. Now let us go, I wish ot have some fun as well." He was reminded of the queen when he was walking towards the window. She ran off somewhere, I'm sure she wouldn't care.

Tamuril jumed out off the window and into the garden. He ran through it to the edge of it, until he jumped off yet again. he had landed in front of the 45th mage division. They look new, and some of them look tense and afraid. One of the mages was so started, he actually sent a wind attack towards him, obviously not recognizing Tamuril. Tamuril side-stepped to the left, dodging the attack. In one swift he dashed in front of the mage, his sword drawn and under his neck. "Don't be so tense, you'll do just fine." The mage straightened his back, he was pretty much in shock. "Master Tamuril, forgive me, I did not know it was you." Tamuril chuckled."It's okay."He turned around and kept running towards his destination.

"Hn."

Takara reached the area where she needed to be, only to have herself being pulled back by the gaurds. After only a few steps, Takara turned right around, walking strait past them. They called after her, only to be ignored in return. She shut a door, locking it so they wouldn't be able to follow her. Takara made her way up to one of the towers where archers should be, entering the room and looking out at what lay below. From the color of their armor, she could tell that it was Ehsar. But such a small army? She raised an eye brow before picking up a bow, putting a quiver of arrows over her back. Without a word, she walked up to one of the lines, scaring the archer who she went up next to. Pulling out an arrow, she knotched it, aiming down at one of their enemies.

"Ignore me and keep on firing." Takara ordered the archers, who were being distracted by her. They jumped back into line, and she let her arrow go. It hit its target, and a moment later she was firing another arrow down. After time had passed by, she pulled out three arrows, firing all of them at once instead of just one at a time.

Karasi flew low, close to the rooftops. She did not want to announce her apperance just yet. The Elvian girl was soon close enough to see that there was an attack on the castle. Quickly dropping down to the street below, Karasi Made the rest of the way on foot, being carefull to not be seen. Ehsar? she thoght to herself in surprise What are they doing so close to the city? For that matter, how did they get so close? It mattered not, but she still wondered. Hiding behind an old tavern, Karasi tried to figure out how many there were. The number was not a large one, perhaps it was a raiding party? But no, it was to large for that. Then... what was it?

"No," Cedric replied, reaching up to stroke the cat a few times, and scratch it behind the ears. He'd always enjoyed the company of animals over humans. The only thing better than animals was Hosvanji, but he was dead. Or my parents, he thought, but the thought died as quickly as it had come, no sign showing on his face. "I understand if you don't trust me, but the offer remains. It will most certainly be faster."

Kirra purred as she was scratched. Shin nodded as he said, "I trust ya. As long as we get there." Suddely Kirra made a long jump to Shin's shoulder. As if she was debating with herself which one she was to go with. Shin petted Kirra and wispered something to her. She stared at him for a moment and then jumped back to Cedric. "Keep her with you. She is a good fighter believe it or not." Shin smiled as he waited for Cedric to lead the way.

He nodded then stepped over and hoisted Shin onto his other shoulder. "Off we go, then." He leapt off the balcony and landed in the garden. From there, he jumped to the top of the wall, pulling himself over the rest of the way with his left hand, his right securing Shin on his shoulder. From the wall, he jumped into the street, startling many. He began travelling in large leaps until they arrived on the scene. A small group of Ehsar troops, hardly a battalion. He set down Shin. "Make your demands," he said firmly.

Tamuril was already there, and he turned around and faced Cedric. "You are not our representative, so do not act like one." He looked around, there was something...amiss with this attack force. It was to small to attack from here. Tamuril was thinking to himself, that maybe there was another attack coming from somewhere else, a hidden one. Tamuril turned around to go back, just in case. "Soldiers, do not take orders from this man." The soldiers all loked back at Cedric. "Yes sir!" Tamuril walked up to Cedric. "You cannot gain trust that easily." With that said, he headed back, only to see Takara as he was going back. "Uhhh, my queen, what are you doing out here?"

Confirming that it was an attack, Matt had the orb on his staff grow brighter and larger. "Mages!!" he shouted as he readied his attack. "Prepare a wind slash! Cut their lines so that they do not reform! Don't let them reach the walls!" He shot the giant green magic bolt into the air as a signal for the mages to attack. Matt was commanding the mages. Matt's magic bolt flew through the air like a mortar and crashed into the ground making an explosion of air, sending wind blades in all directions. The wind blades pierced the armor and flew in and out of the body, making several stabs. As soon as Matt's mortar had hit, green lines raced accross the plains heading straight for the invaders. At the head of the lines were razor sharp air cuts which would pierce their lines. The wind blades forced the enemy to split into different groups, so that they'd be easier to take down.

"Excellent! My mages! Keep up the work! We must defend this place!" Matt continued shouting as he flung another wind mortar into the air. This one was a direct hit, taking out a medium sized group of enemy soldiers.

Shin blushed a little. He didn't think that he was going to get carried there. Shin shook his head and said, "Don't mind him. He's just very alert. I must be off now." Shin toke out his daggers and started running along witht the wind attacks of the mages. This the enemy being cut down fast, Shin didn't need to do much. He attacked 5 enemy sodiers. He jumped away as they all fell to the ground. Something moved to his right. When he looked it was gone. Suddenly something blcked his vision. A hand it felt like to Shin was on his head. Blocking his eyes from seeing. The thing that was holding Shin punched him in his stumach making him drop his daggers. Shin didn't have time to react before his was thrown back in the direction of the mages, or what seemed like it to Shin. A demon. That's must have been what threw him.

He sighed. Again, he was being misjudged. He wasn't giving orders to their men, nor was he trying to gain trust so quickly. He merely wished to know their demands, or their reasons for being here. He said nothing, though. He knew it could only cause conflict with this man, sir Tamuril. Tamuril was starting to worry him, making Cedric think he was a bit stupider than expected. Or perhaps under stress and not thinking clearly. He hoped it was the latter. Despite all the events, though, he drew his weapon, and looked at the enemy. Already they had been divided up by the wind mages and archers were firing relentlessly.

Then let's not get hit, Cedric thought to himself and leapt into fray, cutting down two men with one swing. Several nearest him immediately saw him as a great danger and charged. Cedric spun to the side and grabbed the spear that a man had just tried to stick him with, and yanked it from his grip, using the momentum to spin again, and hurled the spear back at its user. The soldier fell to the ground, impaled.

Cedric parried another sword and eviscerated this soldier then spun quickly to examine those around him. Several were eyeing him, but none were moving, so he waited patiently, always watching every direction.

Shin hit a wall and fell to the ground. Coughing up blood, Shin tstood up as best he could. Shin shook his head to get rid of the sudden dissiness he had. Shin looked to the demon that had thrown him. Instantaniously Shin recugnized him. It was the demon that had spoted him!

Shin grided his teeth. This was geting personal. Shin summoned both fire and wind into his hands, swirling them both into balls. He ran towards the demon and throw one after an other at him. Running in circles to distract the demon even more.

Karasi looked on the battle from her corner. It was no good, she couldn't see much of what was going on from here. Looking up at the roof top, she made a quick decision and jumped up. So this was something of what she had to look forward to, huh? Looking around, the Evlian soon spotted the man in charge of the ranks. True, he was hard to miss. Should I join them? she asked herself. Or would they even accept help from me?

"What does it look like?" Takara retorted to Tamuril, pulling out three more arrows and shooting them down. "I don't care what you think, but quite frankly I'm not about to sit back and watch my men fight and die alone. If they fight, I will as well to my best extent." Takara spotted a soldier who was being surrounded by enemies and took a few of them down. "There is only one person on the throne, and that is me. I play two roles, both Queen and King. Thus it is my role to fight as well. And even if it wasn't, I'd be here even so."

Now ignoring Tamuril, Takara was now set upon killing those who was coming in. 'Such a small party, they'll all be dead soon. It makes absolutely no sense why they decided to attack now.' Takara's ice eyes flickered over to another enemy, and she reached back for another arrows. 'Unless.... Ah, very good king of Ehsar.' Takara stopped, lowering her bow as her ebony colored hair flew back from one of the blasts that Matt's mages had just created. 'However, your plan wasn't grand enough to fool me.... Tsk. That's almost a shame.'

"Continue firing." Takara ordered, glancing down at the wind mages briefly before she turned away. Their wind blasts were effecting how well the arrows were being fired, but as long as the archers didn't fire in the mages direction there wouldn't be too many problems. Takara exited the room. She stopped once she was out, pulling her shoes off and leaving them as she dashed down the hall. She held the front part of her dress up so she wouldn't trip, weaving her way through the halls and heading down. Eventually she entered her old room, stopping as she did so. Takara could see the rivers of crimson swimming across the floor and.... She shook her head, pushing the memories away as she advanced. It chilled her to walk through the room again, but she had to. She came to where a statue was, and pulled on its foot. The wall opened up, and stepped in, checking to be sure that there wasn't anyone behind her.

Heading down the stone hall as the passage shut behind her, she heard the sound of men laughing. Takara reached back and grabbed an arrow, putting it into place. It would be very difficult to fire with such short range, but she didn't really have much of a choice. Rounding a corner, she saw six men of Ehsar walking down the hall; one of them holding something in their hand. They weren't even looking up. Takara held her bow up and aimed, getting ready to set the arrow on fire after she'd let it go. No time to waste. Takara released the air, and with a blink she set the tip of it on fire. As the arrow flew, fire flew off of it, scorching the walls as the fire stretched out far more than it would have normally. Surprised cries and yells erupted, and a moment later as the bow hit the man she'd aimed at, coughing.

Takara lowered her arms, strapped the arrow on her back. She waved one hand in a circle, and all of the smoke that had filled the hall pulled back into a ball. The ball floated over to her, being kept together by a current of air. The group of men were lying on the floor, knocked-out from the mini explosion she'd created.

'They sent out that small group to distract us. They knew that we would think that there would be a larger army coming up after it.' Takara walked through the hall and bent down, picking up what one of the men had been holding. 'And thus, more men than needed would come out. Leaving the inside of the castle empty and easier to sneak into. They came in and tried to steal the Fire and Air jewel.' Takara held the small bag, opening it and peering inside. Sitting within it were two jewels, one the sinful color of crimson and the other a sweet clear diamond. 'It's almost a shame that these aren't even the correct jewels. For them. They went through all of the trouble.... Pathetic.'

There was only one way into these halls, so it would be easy to lock the men inside. Takara turned away, exiting and returning to her old room. She shut the hidden passage behind her and laid her hand on the door, sending heat through it and melting the parts together so the hidden door wouldn't open. She now went out back to the hall, her feet hitting the ground soundlessly, the entire reason she'd left her shoes.

"Time to wipe them out completely." Takara whispered to herself as she came out to one of the towers that was high above where all of the action was taking place. Takara shut her eyes, making the image of a dragon inside of her head. Cupping her hands around her mouth, she blew, forming the air into the form of a dragon. It couldn't be seen-at least not yet. Opening her eyes, she snapped her fingers, and the air that she had shaped suddenly lit on fire. The fire dragon suddenly shot down, opening its mouth and the sound of a roar echoed out. It wasn't actually making any sound; Takara was messing with the air and creating it. Hopefully it would be enough to scare those of Ehsar away. They were extremely religious and the forms of mythical creatures to them meant that hell would erupt and destroy them. Or at least, the royals were religious. The fire dragon was now flying over, and she could hear screaming and cursing coming down. The queen leaned against the wall, her eyes lowering as she kept her mind attatched the form to keep it together.

"A tisket, a tasket... in a yellow basket...." Takara whispered softly to herself as she brought a hand up, rubbing a small scar on her neck that she'd gotten as a 'gift' from her dead husband when he was still alive.

The demon struck him again this time on his head. the blow nearly made him pass out from the pain. He spoted his daggers and jumped for them. The demon got in his way and growled deeply. Shin sliped under the deomon and grabed his daggers. He put them away because he had a plan. Before he could set it into play, the demon toke him by the arm and threw him again. He hit a wall and was knocked out. shin didn't know that when he hit the wall a fire dragon showed up. The demon saw this and got scared. It picked him up and threw him over his shoulder. It couldn't kill him here. It retreated into what looked like a black hole that apeared in the air. Once he was through it the demon that made it retreated into it and it disappeared.

((More later. I'm at school now. It's time for class...Goody.))
