If there was ever a better reason why he hated this nature abandoning freaks, it would be now. Trovalius was't afraid to die, his soul was enternally attached to the earth. Even if his body perished, sooner or later he would be reborn...unlike most of these technoplaugers. He knew what these weapons could do to forests, poison them for decades with their radiation, and this made his scowl turn to hate. Not that either of them cared what the other thought, obviously.
"Feh..." Trovalius shook his head, a knowing smirk crossed his lips. "No matter, spartan..." his voice dripped like acid "Your little girlfriend will be out of my hair in no time at all. The Shinigami has his eyes on her..." Just a little longer wait till she would be gone, it seemed, and a new challenge of avoiding this parasite as well would proove a little more difficult.
Turning he followed orders, walking into the house from the back...but instead of going straight for the room he detoured to the sliding door leading to the indoor garden. "Wait here, Spartan. I won't run away. I don't want your filth in my garden." Thankfully the door was glass, so Jerome could see Trovalius walk over to some plants by a pond, picking a flower and returning back out. He thrust the lilly into his armored chest. "She could care less about my appology, but by the sounds of her you're going to need that Romeo." Feh, lets see his damn technology pick that up.

Jerome followed the ever aggrivating fox into the house. All the while the massive rifle was trained on the demon even as he walked from the little greenhouse and back. He was shocked that a flower was thrusted at him, but he figured he might as well go along with it. His inner desires squealed slightly when he had heard that he would have to present this flower, but the rest of him knew that there was a catch.
"Fine then" the Spartan said holding the flower delicately in his left paw. "Now continue!" he said as he prodded the unruly fox again.

Stupid, stupid spartan. Whatever, he'd done his good deed, it would rest on Jerome's shoulders now. He wasn't a miracle worker, nor did he speak stupid. Trudging down the corridors, he reached the door and with a swift turn of the knob he threw the door open, startling the poor vixen inside.
"GET OU-" She yelled angrily, but her voice faded as she caught sight of Jerome behind Trovalius. What the heck? "Jer..."
"Not to ruin one of your little moments..." Trovalius snarled, unimpressed he was being held by god damn gun point by some maniac and wanted out of this rats nest they called life as fast as he could. The last thing he needed was association with either of them when the time came.
"But this wretched brute insisted oh so kindly..." he made no effort to hide his distaste for the spartan, fangs bearing as he jestured back behind him where he knew the gun was still pointed at him. "...That I appologize for pushing you." There. Looking up at Koyuki, who was trying to wipe the tears from her eyes and regain herself he let out a loud, irriate sigh. "FINE. I shouldn't have...used what I said against you. Its your problem. But I will not take back anything else, I warned you." He scowled, before turning in a huff and sliding past Jerome. "Now both of you leave me the hell alone!" He hissed as he made his way back down the hall and into the depths of his garden. Freaks, all of them.
Blinking in disbelief, she watched him so and was quite speechless for once. Had Jerome threatened him to come and appologize....but that would mean he had to have seen what Trovalius had done...so why didn't she see him then or he had come up to her? Dropping her gaze to the floor, she sat back down on the bed and really...had no clue what to say. She ran her paw over her simple green kimono, as her usual one hung up to try by the window. "If I had known you didn't leave...I would have waited longer..."

Jerome watched with discontent while the fox finally apologized, albiet a rather crude one, but at least he followed orders. He sneered as the demon slipped away and vanished from his sights, but then he turned his attention back on the one who needed it most. He sighed as he turned off the powerful weapon and attached it back to the plate from whence it came. He walked over and sat on the edge of her bed, taking off his helmet and fixing his hair.
"I didn't know what you wanted me to do." He said regretfully. He blamed his lack of a childhood for not understanding simple fun. He looked a the lily in his left paw and held it out tenderly, mostly hoping that Koyuki would understand what that would mean.

There was a moment of an uncomfortable silence, one she didn't like at all. It was funny how one event could just ruin the whole day, but she tried desperately to hold onto what she could salvage out of her good mood. Trovalius did a fine job on breaking that down. Out of the corner of her eye she could see him walk over and then take a seat at the edge. She was about to speak when he'd managed to first, and then when she looked up at his silence all she could see was the beautiful lilly. Her favorite.
"How did...." Koyuki whispered, but stopped herself. A part of her knew how, but the message it conveyed was loud and clear.
With a drawn out sigh, her lips curled into a tiny smile as she smelt the sweet flower gently. "No...I'm sorry, Jerome. I'm trying to make you into something you're not, and thats not right of me. I guess I was so excited at the prospect of a friend, I didn't stop to consider you as you are and just wanted to catch up for lost time. I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable..." She eyed the flower, and put it behind her ear tenderly before turning to look at him. "I did mean what I said yesterday, I like you just the way you are, so I hope you can forgive a foolish vixen and her mistake...I'll just have to play catch up if I don't die before Trovalius has kids, or Briareos and by some miracle they let me play with them." Koyuki couldn't help but laugh at the thought, shaking her head with a smile.

Oh well played demon boy Jerome smirked to himself. he looked over and listened to Koyuki's words. All the while just seeming to be lost in her brown eyes.
"You have no need to apologize. What you did is what you did. I don't think anyone is at fault here. Just a common miscommunication" he said rather nervously, realizing he was staring at her too much and averting his gaze to something else..like the floor.

"I suppose..." Koyuki trailed off, she did feel pretty bad about it all...more or less causing more conflict between now her new friend and her housemates. She was sure she wouldn't hear the end of it when Jerome left for his pod and Trovalius deemed it safe to come out of his garden.
As his eyes quickly moved to her oh so interesting floor, her brow raised ever so slightly. Had he noticed her slightly swollen lip, or was her face paint THAT messed up from her tears? a quick glance to the window showed that she still was fine, and her lip's swelling had gone down till it wasn't noticeable. Turning her head back she gave him a concerned look, again for the second time today he was acting strange.
"Did Trovalius say something bad to you, you're acting a bit odd again, Jerome?"

Jerome sighed. He knew telling this girl about his feelings may not have been a good idea...considering he's only known her for a sum of 2 days. He tried to think of a reasonable lie, but his mind drew a blank. He bit his lower lip in thought and had the experssion of wanting to say something. "I...." he stopped knowing that his sudden approach wouldn't be wise. He ran is fingers through his hair and downs his neck. He knew this must have been equally awkward for the female as well.
"I..I..." he sighed in defeat and stood. "I'd think I'd better go." he said reluctantly. He wondered if his actions were obvious

It was Koyuki's turn to not turn away, no matter how much she wanted to...she couldn't. Her eyes searched his face and could see a burning in his eyes, something he wanted to say? She'd forgotten to breathe when that first word came out....but none followed; and of course barely able to get in a breath before she would choke and look like a fool.
"I see..." Koyuki, even more confused now than ever nodded and stood. If he said he wanted to go then she wasn't going to make another mistake and say he should stay. "You should go back to the pod...it might make you feel better after you've had a better...sleep." If that was what he did. "Come...I will walk you out." She smiled, albeit a bit of a forced on as she still tried to read his expression before he put the helmet back on. Down the hall and back towards the front door, she turned the knob and opened it up for him and stood on the steps.
"Will you come see me tomorrow? I have a lot to do around here, but if I wake up early enough I should be done by mid morning." Koyuki's tail swayed slowly behind her, curious if he'd take her up on a third day of 'hanging out' as they called it here.

Jerome didn't want to argue about him being walked out. It was a courteous thing to do. So he followed her, still lost in his frustration. When he got to the door he stood on the porch, feeling rather helpless.
"Well." he sighs and looks at the very distant hill which he knew sheltered his only home. "I don't know. I'm sure I'll be put into Cryo freeze and really nothing could wake me from that unless it was an extreme emergency...I.." he stopped himself and took a deep breath "I'm in trouble" he thought to himself. He had to stop and rephrase his words
"We will see. But if you've finished your chores, I would almost recommend venturing to my pod. It would be...easier to wake up then..." he said bitting his lip again. He felt that saying anymore would only hurt him so he bid her farewell and walked back to his pod, where once again he drifted into a frozen sleep

Nodding respectfully, she had no intention of going to wake him before he awoke...she could see how badly it affected him. Koyuki felt like she could do nothing, as she watched his obvious displays of unease. Was Trovalius right? Was she really driving everyone away like a plauge?
Watching him leave left her with a sinking feeling in her chest, bearely making out a 'bye' before he dissapeared into the woods. Holding her head as it throbbed with a headache, Koyuki convinced herself it would be better tomorrow and headed into the house to get a head start on a few chores before bedtime.
-------------------------------------------------------------- [Major Timeskip - 7pm Day 3]
"I forgot about late ruck marches and how dumb they were...." Briareos mused to himself in good humor as he made the trek up the hill to where a supposed pod containing a 'god damned retarded manic' lived, according to Trovalius. Having just arrived back from a mission with his partner Deunan, he'd gone to the shop to pick up Koyuki as he usually did when she was there (and since Deunan had lived there too) and when he was off duty. Upon arriving to the house he was greeted by an outraged Trovalius who was on the brink of total meltdown when he managed to get out something about a wretched vixen, hose left on, garden in a state of pandemonium and some very foul language afterwards. That and a homicidal wackjob boyfriend?
Briareos missed all the fun stuff, it seemed.
While the job wasn't pleasant, it seemed that even though the forest demon hated the both of them that he did respect that Briareos was head of the house while the chef was away. None the less, he set out to find the young vixen; even if it was to bring her back to a house that wasn't going to be quiet for a long while.
Which lead him to finally climb up the last slope to a nestled pod against the mountian. While he may have not known much about the spartans, he knew they were a near mythical 'species' of intergalactic warrior. While one in the same under the badge of honor, they were a part of two different worlds. None the less, the massive bioroid fox rose to his hind legs in an anthromorphic form which stood well over 7ft; looked over the pod with his multiple optics before clearing his voice. It was worth a shot right?
"Pod, cancel program cryosis, run eject." It was either that or there had to be some emergency outer release hatch, but those things were often a pain in the a** to find, especially when it was getting dark out and fast.

"Who the hell are you to cancel Cryo? Hmmm?" And angry female voice sounded from an intercom on the pod. A small hologram appeared in front of the biomechanical fox. She was green in color and closely resembled that of a Geisha. A strange coincedence none the less. "Who the hell are you?" she asked as she crossed her arms and tapped her foot impatiently
Behind her the pod hissed and beeped a few times as the ice inside slowly began to melt. It would be a bit, but at least the ice was thawing

A hologram...it had been a while since he'd seen one.
"I am Sargeant Briareos Hecatonchires, I need to breif with the spartan in this pod. It concerns the female he has been interracting with the past few days, she could possibly be missing." He bowed his head, since he could not use facial recognition for her to see his expression.
"I don't mean to step out of rank or protocol, but he is the only lead in this case at the moment." He wasn't sure how formal or informal he should be with this AI, and it did weird him out that she looked eerily like Koyuki.
...maybe thats how this soldier had a thing for Koyuki? He'd heard strange stories about Spartans and their AI's.

The AI scoffed. "Don't you pull rank on me Mister! You may be able to boss around Spartan dash oh 92, but you can't boss me!" She said with a defiant scowl. Behind her the pod hissed and opened, and out stepped a very sleepy Jerome, who was surprisingly just clad in the dark under armor that clad his entire body up to his head.
Jerome woke up rather confused. he heard voices outside, one of which was Elysia, his persistant and constantly bitching AI. As he stepped out, he felt gravity catch up to him as he stumbled a bit. "What the hell?" he said as he looked at the odd fox before him. "Uh..can I help you?" he said as he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes

"I did not intend to boss, Miss, and I am not sure what kind of data banks you have access to so I thought formality would be wise. Yet I do not have the time to wait."
As the pod's door opened with a hiss, his attention was immediately diverted to the spartan. If he could have smiled he would have been, but instead he relaxed his posture to mean no harm to his fellow militant. "Hello...You probably do not know me, but I know a lot about you. Spartan dash oh nine two? Unfortunately the only other names I know are 'my new friend' along with 'that wreatched manic spartan' from my housemate, Trovalius. My name is Briareos, Briareos Hecatonchires. I wish we could have met under more convenient circumstances..."
He hadn't time to waste with formalities.
"Anyways, I best get to my point. My partner's housemate is Koyuki's mother. She approached me today when Koyuki missed coming to meet her, likewise she'd not completed her chores today which is out of character. Usually when im off duty I pick her up at the shop to bring her home, yet i've been told she's now hanging out with you and that Trovalius had overheard that you both were meeting up today? Has she come by today, and do you know where she is now? We can't seem to find her..."
