"Come on! Damn it, wake up!" Sentenel shook the completed and(and unconcious) Horyoku as he was doubled over on the ground. "We are gonna die if you don't!!!"
He slowly reganed conciousness.
"Wha- huh? What happened? All i remember is hearing the Overseer talk about Yugure an-" He suddenly saw the decapitated body of the Overseer lying on the ground. "What happened?!?!?"
"someone killed the Overseer. That was the danger your little friend and he were feeling. Now come on! We've got to catch up to Sabatas Yugure and Taiyo!"
And so Horyoku and Sentenel began the race against time to aid Taiyo and Yugure in (what is hoped to be) the final battle!

The attack felt like a freight train running over his skull. He couldn't handle it anymore, he had enough strength for one more attack and with that, he slashed many times at Yugure. Yugure: 26

"Alright. It all comes down to this last hit. I'm sorry... we couldn't meet a different way." With that, Yugure unleashed her ultimate attack. "Blood Frenzy! The final strike!" Yugure flailed her whip, and blood came up. It formed itself into darts and shot at Lucian.Yugure: 26
Lucian: 11 Yugure saw that her attack wasn't enough to defeat her opponent. "So... I guess... this is it, then..." Yugure prepared for Lucian's next attack, the one that would surely claim her life.

Lucian ran towards Yugure and kicked her a few times."Just die alrea--" He said and passed out from exhaustion.

((umm... I know... I've been keeping up... That doesn't mean Sen and Horyoku know, though!))
"I hope we aren't too late," Horyoku said as Sentenel and he came to an ominous structure. "That's strange... I still feel his heart... Could he be...?"
"Hold up. Are you telling me that you can still feel his life force?" Sen said as tears welled up in her expression.
"If you are right, then we have to hurry even faster!"
"But... I feel two others... And they are dwindling..." As he spoke these words, Horyoku realized who they were; the unknown assasin and Sabata Yugure.
"Oh, no..." They barrelled through the doors, to see two unconcious and badly injured people lying on the ground in a puddle of blood, and heard a maniacal laugh in the darkness.
"HAH! This was too easy! Not only did I play the ULTIMATE prank on All Hallow's Eve, but I got the head of the Overseer, an injured Sabata Yugure, a loyal Sabata Kurayami, and a scared Sabata Taiyo! This is brilliant!" Then the crazed pumpkin-head continued his hysterical laughter. "Oh, and look who just walked through my front door! Sentenel, my dear, how have you been? Have you enjoyed the life of a lowly human? And who is your friend here? This isn't the 'Phoenix' that I've heard SOOOO much about, is it?"

"S... Sentinel...?" Yugure weakly looked up from the ground. "I... couldn't do it... Our goal... it's... all... over..." With that, Yugure fell unconscious once more.

"Yugure... her life force... It's fading! Naomi, Vaan, you wait here! If this is what i think is happening, you'll only be controlled by Kurayami. As for you, Gangu, come with me!"
"Right!" Gangu followed Taiyo toward Yugure, unknowing they were going to meet much more than just Yugure and Kurayami.

"You said you'd give me a reward, Jack O. Lantern. Where is it?"
"All in good time, Sabata Kurayami. All in good time," Jack replied.
"Wait a minute... Taiyo. He's on the move, and he's coming this way! I guess this will be the final battle! Heheheheh..."
"Sabata Taiyo's coming? If that's true, then we may have a chance to finish our goal! Horyoku, can you sense him nearby?"
Her question was answered swiftly by a series of bullets coming in Kurayami's direction. However, the bullets seemed to do nothing to Kurayami. "Hey, Kurayami! Where you looking?"
Kurayami looked at the ground in surprise. "The... the bullets! They didn't do..."
"You said you wanted your reward, right? Total invincibility, all yours. However, know that it comes with it's consequences. First of all, now that you have it, you'll have to call upon it yourself. You have to concentrate on your soul for six seconds. If you are hit, you'll lose your concentration. And it's only active for the next six seconds. A second of concentration, a second of invincibility. Now, I believe we have a battle here?"

"We can't fight anymore. This is just for his entertainment- don't you see? He's using us all as his puppets. Are we REALLY gonna play in on this?"Suddenly, Sentenel charged for the 'great pumpkin' in a fit of rage.

(Just for future reference, it's 2, not 3. Only the first two counted.) Jack was caught by surprise; a feeling uncommon with the master of surprise. He was, however, able to avoid a direct hit. "Do I really have to do this myself?" Jack hit Sentinel across the face.Taiyo swiftly went to Yugure's side and put his hands on her chest. A holy glow came from Taiyo, which seemed to heal Yugure's wounds.Yugure's eyes flickered open. "I... I'm alive?" Yugure looked toward Taiyo, and traced his arm to her chest. A look of rage came to Yugure's face. Soon, Yugure slapped Taiyo across the face. "Pervert!" she screamed."Hey, is that what I get for saving your life?" Taiyo retaliated."Oh. Um, sorry. Now, where's my whip...?"Her question was quickly answereed by a black glow coming from a rose on the whip. The rose grew larger, and continued growing for a long time. "Oh... That's not good..."Sentinel: 102

"Taiyo! Do you remember the demon we sealed away a while back?"
"Yeah, what of it?" Taiyo replied.
"Well, it's awoken, and I'm afraid I've failed to lull him back to sleep. Meiun has returned!"
"Meiun? Meiun Shiboo? No. This can't be good. Kurayami! We need to stop this fighting! Something much larger has come!"
"What do you mean, Taiyo? There can't be anything-!"
The black rose grew to it's peak, then opened to reveal a being with horns and the tail of a devil. A demonic voice came from the being: "Heh heh heh... Doom has returned to this pathetic plane. I will see to it that all life on this world ends. None shall be given reprieve! Fear me, mortals! Fear Meiun Shiboo, bringer of death, lord of tyranny!" With that, the demonic figure disappeared in a flash.
"... Oh. That's what you meant. W-wait a minute! I can't allow hm to destroy the planet! That's my job!" Kurayami turned to Taiyo, then Yugure.
"So, the Sabata Three work together, then?"
"Now this is more like it! Working together!"
"So, what do you say, then? Shall we?" Taiyo reached out his hand.
"I'm glad we can actually work together!" Yugure put her hand on top of Taiyo's. Their hands began emanating a bright gray.
"I hope I don't end up regretting this..." Kurayami walked up to the two and put his hand on top of Yugure's, causing the glow to turn a darker gray.
Soon, their hands seemed to combine into one. Shortly, the three were once again one. The new Sabata opened his eyes. When he spoke, it sounded like a mixture between the three voices. Yugure's seemed the most prominent. "Well, then. Looks like we did it, huh Sentinel? We shouldn't fight between each other. We should work together.
"Horyoku," Sabata said, now sounding most like Taiyo. "I know you wanted to help me. Well, now's your chance. Help me and we will be able to save this planet.
"I'm only going to do this for as long as that Meiun is still around," Sabata said, now sounding most prominently like Kurayami. "After that, we go back to being separate." Sabata turned to Jack. "Jack, I know you enjoy chaos, but this demon will end the world, and thus meaning the end of chaos. Will you participate with us, Jack?"
Jack was prepared to attack Horyoku, but stopped. "You bring up a point, Sabata... Sabata what?"
"Sabata... Sabata Ketsugoo. That's my name. But, what's the point in calling me Ketsugoo? I am just Sabata for now."
Sentinel was also prepared to attack, but stopped as well. "Sabata. The coming of Meiun caused this. That means you'll split when Meiun is gone."
"Yes. We will split. But what's better is that we defeat Meiun so we can continue our goal. Think of it that way."
"Or... we could just not defeat Meiun. You'd stay together."
"Don't even think about it. Now, if you'll let me..." Sabata walked up to Overseer and placed his hand on his chest. A holy glow came from him, and Overseer was healed.
Overseer opened his eyes. "I... I'm alive! Is this your doing... who are you?"
"Overseer, this is Sabata. They've merged into one. However, we have a bigger problem. A demon is threatening the planet!
"What? We'll never get our godship back if that happens! Where is this demon?"
"We... don't know. But mark my words, we will find him! And when we do, he's gone!"

(dangit! you killed my fun! i wanted to roast some pumpkin seeds, if you catch my drift!)
"Suddenly Horyoku began to glow himself; his shape became more canine, and he bent over to the ground on all fours. "Tell me how I may be of service. I will hunt this daemon down myself if I have to." The light burst off into small spirit flames, revealing a white fox- spirit.
"I'm ready when you are."
(Yeah, I shoulda mentioned this a while back... Yugure and Horyoku are COMPLETELY one, which has it's advantages...)

(Although, I'd imagine it's not without it's disadvantages, either.)
"Is it me, or am I not the only one made of more than one being here?"
"It does not matter who is made of more than one being, rather that we find Meiun Shiboo. Shall we, then?" Overseer began to walk away.
"Yeah, there's one problem about that. We don't even know where Meiun is."
"Well, when you look at it that way, we are thoroughly doomed."
"Or, we could wait until he hits the town we will wait for him at, and jump him there."
"Ooh, I like that idea! Let him cause as much chaos as he can before he's so unfortunate as to run into us, huh?"
"Unfortunately, that seems to be the only way."
"Alright then. So, where will we wait? Personally, I would like to wait at Barton Town." The thought of Lucian had come to Sabata, and he approached him and healed him.
"Personally, I've always wanted to visit Isle De Gambino."
"Why don't we go to Durem? I think it likely he'll hit that place first."
"I want to make sure Halloweentown is safe. It is my town, after all."

"To be completely honest, Sabata and I were always one singular being; we, for separate reasons, were separated into multiple conscious 'semi- beings'. I was divided into my own consciousness, as well as Yugure. Sabata was divided into Yugure, Taiyo, and Kuriyami- the 'Sabata Three'." The words he spoke seemed to float in the air and linger, as silence was achieved for a brief moment.
That is, until an explosion rocked the unholy sanctuary they stood in.
"What the hell?! What was that?" Sentinel cried out, seeming to speak what all of them were thinking...
(Oh, don't worry about that. I hate playing 'perfect' beings. Really didn't want to rush the soul-binding until I could post more consistently, but fighting erupted and evil was afoot, so you forced me to go 'supernova' on you... I do like how this is turning out, though! XD)
