It's Just beneath the skin...
Ichi remained looking at the girl as she healed the wound on her foot; but didn't seem to bother with the one on her face. Ichi felt really bad about the fact that it was her reaction to the sand he was controlling that made her fall; and that she had hurt herself on the sand that again; he was controlling; so in his mind the facts he was hurt' was Ichi's fault. "A-are.... y-you sure?" Ichi asked looking at Kiko; Ichi couldn't normally read Kiko's emotions seeing as how she was almost always one heightened, Really happy, really sad, ect, but that didn't seem to be the case at the moment.

 Tsukiko licked the blood from her lip, tongue curling lightly around the silver ring she had in. She paused for a moment, and sighed-the place she'd bit was too close to her lip ring to heal directly, so Kiko cleansed her hands, scrubbing them vigorously with a foul-smelling liquid from one of her pouches. With a slight turn, she pulled the ring out of her lip, and laid it in her lap, healing the spot she'd just bitten. "Yeah...I'm fine..." she mused softly, twisting the ring slightly in her hand, before looking at Ichi, giving an awkward silence to the situation. Kiko almost never took out her lip ring-or at least, not that Ichi had seen, but it was odd to not see it there on her mouth.Tsukiko Theme

"O-okay.... If y-you say s-so...." Ichi said still looking at Kiko before sighing slightly and flopping backwards; the sand on the ground seeming to catch him just moments before he landed on the ground. Ichi remained there looking up at the leafs in the tree's above him; most people didn't think twice about them but to Ichi they where amazing even if he had been around them non stop for the last year; he spend the first 15 years of his life seeing nothing but Cactus's plant wise. Ichi remained there and took a deep breath; He had seen Kiko take her lip ring out; it was slightly odd, not what he was used to; but it wasn't really anything that strange.

Wiping the blood from her lip, Kiko set to healing the small puncture wound she'd made earlier, making sure not to heal the hole for her lipring. She smiled a tiny bit at Ichi, looking a tad nervous, and quite shy. "Um...you think I should leave it out for a while? Or keep it in?" she asked him, face flushing a bit.Tsukiko Theme

"I d-don't know" Ichi said looking at Kiko confused; he didn't know how piercings worked; all he knew was that they where chunks of metal people put THROUGH there skin on purpose; he didn't really see the point in essentially stabbing yourself and not letting it heal correctly. "U-up to... y-you i guess" Ichi said sitting up from his resting position on the ground.

Kiko gave Ichi a soft, flustered smile-she wasn't used to this at all. She slipped the ring back in, and sighed. "Can't hurt to keep it for a few more years at least, right?" Kiko turned her attention back to her foot, staring at it. The swelling had gone down a bit, and she might be able to finish her training later. "Well...now what, Ichi? Do you just want to talk, while my foot's resting?"Tsukiko Theme

"I d-dont now...." Ichi said still looking at Kiko; watching her put the lip ring back into its place. "W-we c-cant go to the leaf..." Well they could but then again Ichi didn't think that Kiko would want to; seeing as how what had happened the last time the two of them had been there. "I d-dont really know... w-what we cant d-do while.... we w-wait on Lu" In truth Ichi didn't even know if Lu would even show; up but this was really the last option he had; he has had two different seals on him; one backfired BIG time; and the other was in no way determinant. So Ichi was going to wait as long as he needed to' even if he had no idea what he could do in the down time.

She shook her head a bit, thinking. "It's too bad we can't go into Leaf. I'd like to put some fresh flowers on Yukito's grave." Kiko twiddled her thumbs gently, trying to figure out what they could do. "Um...well...maybe...you can tell me some more about things you like and don't like?" She sighed a bit, and went back to massaging her foot gently-it still hurt, and there was a dark outline of a bruise showing. But, knowing Kiko, she could probably heal it, and make it better than before...Tsukiko Theme

His eyes were glaring at the two as two similarly dressed men dropped from his tree to land next to them both, one wielded a hunting knife while the other wielded some sort of hand fan. The by no means seemed trained but they looked desperate. "Give us your money and any valuable items..." The main stayed in the tree waiting to pounce in if the other two were attacked.

Ichi let out a loud yelp and looked up at the two men who had suddenly appeared. At first Ichi noticed the weapons that the two men where holding; and the sand that was on the ground under Ichi slithered slightly in its place. "W-who... a-are you?" Ichi asked looking at the three ho had just appeared. Ichi was startled for sure; but he wasn't necessarily scared. The men looked more like civilians who had picked up weapons; then ninja. The Sand was ready to react in case something happened but seeing as how Ichi controlled it; and not Shukaku; it waited for his command...

Tsukiko raised an eyebrow, and looked over at the men who had just dropped down. "Um...valuables...right. Well, the only really valuable thing I carry is the tent, and as for money, there's a small amount in my coin purse that you can have. I don't carry around a lot of money." She tossed the small blue bag to the assailants, letting it land at their feet. "Besides, there's not really anything of value to a few desperate men that I carry, and he's only got the clothes on his back." Kiko pointed to Ichi, turning carefully so as not to provoke an attack.Tsukiko Theme

The two men were completely on edge, each one sweating profusely as they looked intensely from the two ninja to the coin purse before one quivered down low enough to grab the bag before falling backwards into a run away from the scene with their prize in their hands. However, the third stayed in his hidden spot in the tree, hoping that he too would be able to make off with some of the ninja's money.

Ichi looked at Kiko as she gave her things to two of the people, his gaze quickly darting some Kiko to the men; back and forth a few times before the men vanished. "K-kiko... s-should y-you r-really do that?" Ichi asked slightly worried; he didn't say anything; but he did actually have money with him; he had had a fair amount when he had been kicked out of the Sand village; it was running low now seeing as how he had been gone almost a year; but it was still enough to get by. Ichi then looked around for a bit; that had been to... well easy' it they got here and left; things never tended to be that simple.

"Yeah, it's fine. It's only a small amount of money, and they looked pretty hungry. I don't carry that much money around with me, so why not give it to them? It isn't like I can't go get more if I need it-I just don't need it right now." She looked at Ichi, then back to where a certain smell was emanating from. "Is there someone else still here? Yuzuki was on her way back home, still not having any idea where her 'partner' took off to, but she had had gone back through the gates, gave the card back to the Gatekeeper and then moved on, her mind in too many places to strike up conversation or snippy come-backs to some poor sourfaced flunky at the gates. She planned to wait a few more hours for her partner before leaving fully to head back home. She wasn't sure if this was going to be continuous thing and if she should seek out an actual apprentiship to someone of more abilities in the village. Being an apprentice to a senior member of her village might actually be benifical in more ways than one, she could get the power she desperately needed, and she would learn the skills to survive alone if need be. Such abilities and power... she could possibly bloat herself on the power learned and still be able to greed for more. That was the problem with Greed, it matter little if was ryo, personal riches or power... one always wanted more. There was one problem though, and that was obtaining it, maybe she could pull her favour that the Raikage owed her. He must have had someone give him some more personal training.
As Yuzuki broke threw the bushes she caught someone out of the corner of her eye, someone familiar. Yuzuki turned her head to see that there was another familiar face and someone she hadn't met before, she tilted her nose up and retreated slightly behind a tree to get a better observation of the situation. It was the Mutt and her dog. Kio.. Kikyo? Her name was at the tip of her tongue, but apparently she was from the village where Yuzuki was from. Yuzuki's bi-coloured eyes trailed over to study the boy that was with her, it wasn't long before they came to rest on the head band and the alleigence that it held. Sand-nin... the girl was traitor after all. Though, perhaps it was the otherway around, the sand was the traitor and she was collecting infromation. She would hang back to see what happened before she made her move and decided her course of action. But.. why here? What were they doing here and why was someone like her so far from home all by herself? She doubted that the Raikage would send anyone alone on the mission if he could help it. So either there was more cloud and sand nin around here or she was AWOL. Yuzuki leaned against the tree somewhat, her eyes narrowed in suspicion while she listened in as best she could. If there was treachery involved, she best report it to the Raikage, it was something that could serve her well. A little spy-work would be well and good, though it was likely she was already discovered, she wasn't exactly expecting to stumble upon them, and Mutt had her doggy, it would have likely picked up on her scent by now.
