Quote: Name: Senpū (Whirlwind) A taijutsu technique where one launches a succession of high kicks and low kicks. Firstly, the opponent's evasion margin is restrained upon seeing the high kick, thus augmenting the chances for the low kick to hit the mark. So originally the high kick is little more than a feint. Cp cost: ----- Dice Rolls: 2 Damage: Double taijutsu damage. Requirements: Style: Gouken, Taijutsu 11. Training: 2 stages. Stage I: Taijutsu DC 21. Practice arriving in a position capable of performing Senpu - in a brief moment. Stage II: Taijutsu DC 23. Send heavy objects flying using the Senpu. Special: Progress: 4/10DC Needed: Stage 1 of 2: 21 Score: 11+ Taijutsu Skill[24] =35. Success! After he had tried from a standing position, Zentos decided to go to a squatting position to try this technique. From there, he was at a height disadvantage, but it was no matter. He still sprung up with great agility and kicked quite accurately where an opponent of his size would be. He practiced aiming at the head and then the lower extremities to inflict maximum damage. He dropped back to the ground, and decided to advance onto his original plan; the running start.

Walking a little further off from where he was standing, Zentos ran at about three quarters of his full speed and didn't stop, and instead jumped straight into a flying kick, followed by a spinning hook kick with his back leg. Feeling extremely confident, he knew that he had this technique in the bag. He knew how to do it, he just had to flesh out the tiny little details and flaws that he knew he was doing.

Feeling that he shouldn't be so overconfident, Zentos stretched his legs a little and prepared to commence with more drills. He walked over to a certain rock formation about his height, and he made a plan. he walked in front of the rock a few feet, but not enough so that he could kick it immediately. First, he jumped into the air into the high kick feint, and then after the momentum carried him a foot or so forward, he spun and unleashed the devastatingly hard wheel kick to the bottom. He hit the rock, and he felt the force of the impact. It felt stronger than his normal taijutsu kicks, so he was very satisfied. His foot also didn't hurt as much as he thought it would from hitting a piece of solid rock.

Starting from his position again, he jumped up as quickly as he could and tried to accurately kick the rock in very specific places for an example of someone who would be his height. He knew that he wouldn't be fighting anybody that much older than him or taller than him, so he thought that it should be ok to train this way. His kicks hit home perfectly, and his confidence soared as he was making perfect progress with his taijtusu training.

Just as he had remembered his classmates in Iwagakure, so Zentos remembered just how they had imitated this technique when they themselves had first heard of it. As long ago as that was, he had never realized how naive they had been. They had been so carefree and jolly, they had never seen the outside world as Zentos knew now. They thought they had been good because they were the "best in the class", even though Zentos was always the best, and they had thought that they would be great ninja. Without looking at the bigger picture, they had falsely assumed such things. Now, Zentos knew the truth, and they had been purely average ninja, now that he thought about it. As he was reminiscing about this, it only motivated him to train harder and to actually be unique and talented.

Getting tired now, he knew that it only take a few more drills to perfect the muscle memory of the technique. Zentos decided a few more successful attacks on this rock dummy that he had improvised would work fine, and then he would move on to the next step of perfecting this technique. Trying to focus more on accuracy and getting into the perfect position to use the technique, Zentos took another small running start and attacked the rock. Perfect in execution, he got ready to try one more time before he moved onto something else

Zentos knew that in a real battle, the situation was bound to not be ideal, so he needed to kind of surefire way to get the hit in if he tried to use this attack. He tried to use a variation of the technique and spun before starting the high kick, and then bending his back low to initiate the final low kick. With relative success, he knew that he was on his way to becoming a master, not only because his training was coming along, but because his improvisation skills were improving and helping him to become a stronger and better warrior.

Zentos decided to try and perfect his power instead of his form and accuracy now, so he picked up a fist-sized rock from the ground and threw it up. He jumped and hit it with his right foot and it flew across the cavern. From his position, he could see it land into a pool of hot water. Now, he bent back down low to start the low kick and aimed at another nearby rock. With limited training resources, he was just trying to make do with what he had.

When kicking low, Zentos saw wondered if it was better to go in a clockwise direction or in the opposite. First trying the clockwise direction, he ended up hitting the rock with the back of his foot with enough force for it to be knocked out of its position in the ground, b but not much movement after the initial contact.

Jumping up in time at the rate the rock was falling, he kicked the rock in a perfectly straight line and watched it fly. In the split second that gravity was pulling him down, he let loose the second rock that he had picked up from the ground and hit it with his low kick in another decently straight line, though it strayed a little to the left, no matter. He probably wouldn't be using these techniques to move things in a certain direction anyway.

Zentos was getting a little bored just kicking rocks around, but he knew that it was a duty that he must do. He started the training, therefore he had to finish it. He needed to master this technique as fast as he could, or else his carelessness and restlessness would get the better of him and make him quit prematurely. He tried to focus and picked up a few more rocks to hit across the cave. So far it looked as if he was the only one in here, but hopefully he wasn't hitting these rocks dangerously close to anybody else using the cave.

His repetition was working though, the rocks were getting further and further after every kick. His practice was indeed making him a better ninja.

He was in turn learning a new fighting move and training his taijutsu at the same time. It felt good to know that he was doing something productive in his time. At least now, he was able to get stronger while at the same time learning something new. His attention span had recently been quite small, so it was surprising that taijutsu still held it for such a long time. Normally he would have already gotten bored and put very little effort into this, but not today.

He had the idea of going back to square one and went back to that one rock formation that was close to his height. That way, he started kicking pieces of the rock off. With every attempt, he would knock a pebble or two off. Feeling very confident with the strength of his kicks, he proceeded impatiently and struck the rock repeatedly.

It had become common practice for him to simply jump and do two kicks. The high kick wasn't always particularly powerful, but the low kick had devastating damage at the end of it.
