Edgar Allen Poe and some of Walden Emerson's stuff such as those on immortality, morality, life, and spiritual existence.
Pretty much all the dark and philosophical people. Emily Dickenson has some too. And Mark Twain creeps the hell out of people so he's cool.

I quite like Carol Ann Duffy. She isn't the best of poets and I acknowledge that, but she is really good at symbolism and making the unimportant or ignored by society be seen in a better light.
There are a few others I like, but it's two in the morning right now and I don't particuarly want to think razz
