Nina giggled softly when she was pulled up, then clutched her hands in front of herself. "Hurry?" She tilted her head. She had been looking for someone. "Lookin' for..." She turned another circle. The other kids, their daddy, her daddy, the lady- daddy! "I was lookin' for daddy!" She said excitedly. Without thinking, she reached for Raine's hand and tried to drag her over to Blake. "Daddy! Daddy!"
Blake perked his ears, turning and grinning happily at the sight he saw. "Nina. Did you find a new friend?" He asked, scooping up the child when she let go of Raine's hand.
The home owner chuckled. "It's a pleasure, Miz Raine. Sounds like you're taking over my way of getting the kids outta the house!" He said, before his own children followed Nina's example and tackled their father. "Oy! Away with you beasts!" He shouted, though play mixed in his tone as the children ran off laughing again.

Raine laughed lightly as she was caught up in Nina's excitement. With out hesitation she allowed the child to drag her over to Blake. She had almost forgotten the other male until he spoke to her and Raine nodded politely. "A pleasure myself, sir." She grinned at his comment, "What ever works will work."
Her hand still warm from Nina's grasp laid against her hip as she glanced after the retreating children. "Pfft. Adorable beasts they are." She commented lightly as she grinned back at Nina and Blake. Water blue eyes softened as she looked at the family - could she really claim that word with them? Maybe one day.

"Ay, adorable when they're sleeping." The male laughed. A strong, feminine voice called from within the house, something about helping with dinner. The male shook his head. "Well, sounds like if I don't get back in there Greta'll skip my plate." He gave Raine a nod, clapped Blake on the back and tickled Nina's cheek before disappearing into the home, shouting back at his wife, making himself obvious. "Hey Gret! Wait'll ya hear this!"
Blake nodded to the male before petting Nina's head. "Nina. This is my good friend Raine. I think she could be your friend too. She's going to... help me take care of you." He brushed Nina's bang to the side, watching carefully the girl's gaze. "What do you think of that?"
Nina cocked her head, looking closely between Raine and her father. What was this? "Fwend?" She asked softly. Take care of? Why? In natural child form, her thoughts turn to her affects. "Do I have to shawre my bed?"

Raine smiled and waved after the male wolftaur. An interesting character that one. She nodded at Blake and looked down sheepishly at Nina. Worry turned her stomach before the wolftaur let out a surprised laugh. "Oh!"
"No, you don't." Raine laughed as she shook her head at Nina, "I'll sleep on the floor if I have to so I won't take any space, Nina." She joked though at the same time wondered about exactly where she would really be sleeping.

Blake flipped his ears. "Raine, you are certainly not sleeping on the floor," He poked at Nina's tummy. "and not in your bed. When we get home today, we'll find her a place. She'll be doing chores with us, and playing with you, and living with us."
Nina smiled, secure with the thought that her bed would remain her own. She bit her lip, trying to compare Blake and Raine to the couple who watched her while Blake was away. Would they be like that? Suddenly, she perked her ears. She had always liked the connection between Greta and her husband. Maybe daddy and this lady would be the same! To Blake's suprise, Nina leaned forward and reached for Raine to be held. "Yay!" She squeaked. Her birth mother had loved babies, and that had morphed into a supressed love of family life in Nina. Right now, that love poked it's head up. Who knew how long it would last.

"Really I wouldn't mind." Whispered Raine before shrugging, "The forest floor it is then. I rather do like the feel of the grass beneath my paws-" She held up her hands against Blake, "I jest! I jest." She laughed softly before lowering her hands.
Raine blinked startled by Nina's movements but reached down to hold onto the child. The warmth was a familiar comfort and the wolftaur sighed softly. "Nice to meet you too." She murmured into Nina's hair before looking up at Blake, "I guess we should leave now?"
She was curious about the new arrangements to her living style. Already she was enjoying the feeling of this 'family' of sorts. Raine snuggled Nina at the thought.

Blake was ready to give Raine a look before she held her hands up. "No floor at all." He said with a laugh. Seeing Raine holding Nina, he felt a wave of relief. Relief that he would no longer be the only one with Nina. relief that Nina would have a female influence now. Relief that he would have an adult to talk to on a regular basis now instead of just the child. "Sure thing. We can have dinner there, then you can take as much time as you need getting things from your place." He wagged his tail as he headed home.
Nina settled her chin onto Raine's shoulder during the hug. This was far different from when daddy held her. It was even different from Greta. Gentler. Sweeter. It was nice. "Wa-raine." She said, kicking gently as she still worked on her "r" sounds, the only thing about her that was delayed. "You don't need ta carry me. I'mma big girl!" She held her head up, peeking over at Blake for confirmation, who nodded with a smirk.

"Oh the air for me then?" Replied Raine with a laugh. Her tail waved eagerly, "That sounds good." She flushed lightly, it really wouldn't take long for her to get her things. There wasn't too much after all.
With a sigh Raine let Nina down, "Oh, alright." She giggled and held out her hand, "But can the big girl keep me company as we race Daddy home?" She whispered with a playful wink.

Nina's eyes went wide conspiratorially. "Wace?" She whispered, peeking over at her father, then back to the female. Giggling, and being far too obvious with her tail wagging and hunched posture, she grabbed Raine's hand, constantly looking over at Blake before yelling "Go!" and running off. She knew the way home.
Blake rolled his eyes. "Close. I'm going to rent a cattaur who's going to make you stick to the ceiling for sleeping." When the girls started whispering, Blake instantly knew they were planning something. Nina usually acted like that with the other children before all four would tackle him. He cocked his head, about to "scold" them for keeping secrets, when Nina tried to run off with Raine in hand. "Hey!" He called with a laugh, moving to just below a run.

"Oooh? I guess I better get prepared for that then~" Raine grinned teasingly as she gave him a soft nudge. Really her eyes were dancing with life as she began to settle in with the 'family'.
Her gaze went back to Nina and a silent yes left her lips before both of them started running. Raine laughed loudly, "Go Nina, go!" Her paws thumped against the ground lightly as she tried her best to keep in step with the child. It was almost as if she was a child again.

Nina ran as quickly as her legs would carry her. "Come on, Wa-raine!" She yipped.
Blake growled playfully as he chased, his hands opening and closing in a 'grabby' motion. "I'm going to get you!" He teased, reaching and ticking Nina's haunched as though she were just out of reach, listening to her scream with triumphant laughter. Caught up in the game, one hand slid over and brushed at Raine's side as well, though he snatched it back about as fast as the blush on his cheeks could turn a dark red. It was what he could to just keep running. He cleared his throat. "We're almost there." He said, cheering his voice up again and batting at Nina's tail. "Better hurry!"

"Coming~" Raine giggled as she pounded after Nina. Her laughter grew as she listened to Blake behind them, "Hurry, Nina! He's gonna get us!" Her eyes closed, only to open in shock at the fleeting touch.
Her cheeks flushed lightly as she shook her head. It was just part of the game after all! Right? Raine shook her head and seeing what she took to be Blake's home in the distance bent over to scoop up Nina, "Last jump!" She cried out as she tumbled with Nina towards the house.
"Ma-made it~" She whispered looking down at the child who she had tucked into her arms during the roll. With a small grin Raine backed up to give Nina room. "Right Nina?" She watched for Blake from the corner of her eyes. She hoped she hadn't scared him with the play tumble!

Nina shrieked when picked up, howling with delight as she rolled home. "We won!" She crowed, attempting to get to her feet and run to the house at the same time.
Blake ran after the girls, though nearly leapt forward when the two tumbled on the ground. But Nina's laugh and Raine's smile said it was no accident. He let out his breath in a whoosh, shaking his head, his hand tugging on his ear as he walked over, holding out his hand to help Raine up. "Well, this is it." The yard had two buildings on it. One was a storage/smoking room. The other, bigger building was the main house made of logs. It looked well maintained and cozy.

Raine laughed, "We did!" She managed to say the reply at Nina in between breaths as she lay down for a second. More laughter as she watched Nina, "Don't rush, now~" She whispered lightly as she started to pick herself up.
Slight surprise crossed over her face as she took Blake's hand for support, but it disappeared quickly. "Ah, hah! So I finally get to see Blake's home." She commented lightly as she glanced around, "Not too bad, sir."
Her eyes softened. So this was what another's stable home looked like. It seemed cozy - far cozier than a temporary home would be. Raine smiled, she remembered having something like that before becoming a part of a pack again.
She smiled over to Blake, "Well... care to show me around the inside?"

Finding her paws, Nina grabbed open the door and ran into the house. She wanted to make sure the house was "tidy" and pretty. With that blue coloring, Raine was sure to like things pretty!
"Thanks." He said, proudly smiling at his home. It wasn't big, but it wasn't tiny either. "Not at all. It might be helpful for you to know where things are here." He walked up and held open the door for Raine to enter first. "After you." He said. Walking in, Raine would first be greeted by a living room with a love-seat covered by fur and a wicker chair in front of a small stone fireplace. Cool-orange coals covered by a grate gave the room a subtle warmth compared to the chilly air of the outside. The dining/kitchen area could be seen from here as well, a wooden table tucked in a corner across from another, slightly larger fireplace for cooking.
