Shrugging, he decided they must have gotten scared off and decided to go by foot. He didn't really mind the sentiment, as carrying them was rather taxing. Letting a rather large portion of the sand fall away he slowly lowered the platform to about three feet above the ground, and sat on the two comatose boys. If he was going to have to carry them, he was going to take the free ride for himself too. "You guys better still be close, cause I ain't looking for you." He said in a slightly confused tone. "Did those two leave on their own?" He questioned, glancing around the forest as if it would give him his answers. No matter though. The sooner they got back, the sooner he could lose the other two morons. Maybe the kazekage would send a search party back. But he sure as hell wouldn't be on it. He would be coming upon people soon, and wanted nobody to see him. As he walked, he kept an eye out for the docks, and any ambushes. There were undoubtedly some who would try to lower the competition before it could begin. As luck would have it, he quickly spotted a side trail leading down to the docks, and turned down it.  Zin heard a light hiss from Nagi as he hissed back,"The Uchiha man? Hmmm.....Guess he was accepted also......"Zin stopped and looked back to the gates of Konoha in a distance,I hope Hiniko nee-chan and Vincente hurry. Unless they are already there...... He sighed and shook his head before continuing onwards,trudging his luggage slowly as he used this time to train his body a little after much training of his mind.[Exit to Docks]

As a Genin, you'll be more or less restricted to the village, excepting to run a few prerequisite C-rank missions. But after that, when you become a Chuunin, you should have all the freedom you want, so long as you are serving the Iwagakure in your travels." Continuing their conversation for miles, sharing his own views on risk vs. tactical thinking, which would differ greatly from hers. He was always for charging in and asking questions later. It was more dangerous, but if you lacked the ability to think things out, the least you can do is force others into a situation where planning would get in the way of surviving the onslaught.
By the time they had reached the forest, Shinji was already beginning to feel his heart rate increasing, his body screaming at him to stop as it sent wave after wave of pain through his body. Several times, he would actually fall several paces behind Riko and be forced to catch up, but Shinji pushed through the pain... he would not be late. As they approached the forest, Shinji didn't quite know if Riko would be able to climb trees as he did, so instead of teaching her at the time, he simply found a small route through the trees, jumping up to consecutively higher branches until they were traveling at a good rate near the top of a canopy.
It had a been a long day, and even Shinji was beginning to feel the wear on his body as his movements started to become more labored and sluggish. He probably should have slept before leaving, or eaten, but he hadn't seen the need for either at the time... not counting on the effects of another journey on his system. As his body continued to pulsate with anger towards him, outweighing even the relief he felt from another Konaga, at the very least, the site of the waters nearby where the docks would be gave him enough energy to spur on. "Alright, there are the docks. Once we're on thr ship, we'll be able to rest. Just a little bit further..."

Jubei had never been outside of the village before, so he had to admit that he was a little confused. He had expected some trees, sure, but not a complete forest that would obscure his vision of... Everything. Still, it wasn't as if it was a serious problem. He shrugged the backpack into a more comfortable position on his shoulders and followed the road signs, his mind wandering on what it would be like. The Exams had to be difficult, only those with talent, skill, and a pinch of luck could actually make it to the rank of chuunin. Jubei hoped he had the right combination of those three factors, or he might come home shamed. Or he might not even come home at all, since death was a likely possibility at the exams. If things were hardcore enough, or his opponent was just that crazy, he could die. It was a sobering thought, one that took a lot of the fun out of the exams, but Jubei just soldiered on as he always did. He would do this, he would not be defeated here, not after all the work he had just gone through to get here.
He was tired, hungry, and a little angry, but he kept on going. He could rest on the boat, if he didn't miss it first.

 Konaga Riko Iwagakure| Konaga Clan | Academy Student As the pair continued to travel through the dense forest of Iwa and into the lush forestry of Konoha, Riko found herself enjoying the company and as well as the conversation. 'It makes me realize just how deprived I've been of human interaction. Usually I would have mom and dad constently talking to me that I just realized how lonely it can be to travel alone...' Taking in Shinji's words Riko also stated some other opinions she had in regards to risk vs. tactical thinking.
As they continued to travel, Riko could feel the effects of her bloodline waring her body down slowly and from what she could tell Shinji was suffering from the same effects. There were several times where she noticed him fall behind and worried if he was gonna be alright but seeing him catch up, Riko felt relieved to see him still capable of travelling. 'I wonder how much longer. The pain is starting to become unbearable but if I slow down my pace anymore, I'm sure he'll notice. I would hate to become a burden...'
Following Shinji's example on jumping up various branches till they were travelling by the higher branches. Riko was reminded momentarily of her mountain home and the large forest below. Smiling since this could be considered familiar territory with her, Riko allowed herself to relax and jump casually from branch to branch while allowing the risking branch swinging every now and then. Not allowing herself to think of the pain pulsing regularly throughout her body, Riko tried to focus hard on enjoying this little journey of theirs instead. Relief washed over her when she finally heard Shinji mention the docks. 'Yes! Finally, a chance to rest!' Feeling rejuvenated, Riko continued to push on dispite all the pain she was currently feeling.
