He turned to look at him, seeing him in the chair. "Limited as you are, I'll take any pair of hands I can get. I've seen people play basketball in wheelchairs, so I won't mind that. And if we do find a body of water in our travels, then we'll have the upperhand no matter what."

He turned back towards the mass, building aura energy into his hand, holding it over the mass to see if there was any reaction, his right hand on the hilt of his sword, just in case.

"It's pretty complicated," Yen said to Alex. "The reason I mention doppelganger is due to its timing and behavior. Wolfy showcased a display of elements in its positive state back there, and a clear pond appeared as Theo mentioned it. I wouldn't be surprised if this dark liquid matter turns out to be a combination of the two, but are in its negative form instead."

"As for behavior," the turtle pulls out the vial and empties it back into the pond, "I would have preferred it if it didn't act exactly like me. ...Sure sure, I misunderstood that Wolfy's intention, and I kinda went off a bit of a tangent back there."

The turtle turns to face Theo this time. "Well, if these doppelgangers are basing themselves off of our most recent event, I wouldn't worry too much if we're not well equipped for it. It'll just mean that it, too, won't be ready for us."

Turning back to the pond again, the turtle ponders for a bit before speaking up again. "If anything, we should try to stay as calm as possible. The more energy we show to the matter, the more it'll feed off from it and use it against us." The turtle shrugs after having thought of something amusing, "Hehe... Well, who knows whether my speculation's correct or not. The pond can come up to us in our most powerful form."

Tender swaying breezes perhaps believed formed through natures whim sped with gradual increasing spurts suggesting something was amiss. Across lush green lands streams mere eyes may see washed over their parameters, stopping for collective purposes at its focal point. Upon firm grounds where needed each part of a merging whole spiraled counter-clockwise and with increasing density hastened. Flourishing skyward yet remaining anchored created one colossal sphere which withdrew debris giving a dusty white shading within its entity; this ensured whatever it housed remained shrouded.

Abruptly dispersing creating sweeping ripples ebbing afar from their channeler, they whom enacted a ruse concealing the instantaneous arrival took brief glances by subtle eye shifts. Spanning two enormous archangel-like wings, they attired in monochrome fashion said nothing believing the entry suggested arrival of another enough. Weaving sleeves from arm crossing partially closed the gap of the long white coat worn; this exposing less of their undershirt and loose black jeans which gave vague imagery to foot attire. A slight head tilt swayed long snow tinted strands; them showing slight confusion regarding why another suggested coming forth. unto another realm with another dead end pursuit. "Surely they'd best know better locations than aimless finger pointing" thought within while gracefully approaching complete strangers, they kept his slender frame stiffened in case one sought an early grave; two sheathed blades strapped from behind surely granting such malice wishes.

Dismissed until now surrounding ethereal energies seemingly harmless struck wonder given its source wasn't resonating amongst any whom conversed amongst themselves. Perhaps a spirit intertwined with this nature or nature itself being ethereal mattered little; they'd cease its being should conflict arise amongst it and he. Still . . . during their stay within this vicinity peaceful measures would be enacted; after all senseless destruction wasn't befitting for an ethereal. Until closed gaps were adjourned, allowing civil conversing, they paced onward without much worry for matters to unfold.

Alex clenched his fist, the aura dissipating, lowering his hand back to his side in an open state. "I'm not gonna worry. I've sparred with people stronger than me, so it'd be a lot easier fighting myself." He smirked into the pond, then began to think of the size of the pond. He let go of the hilt, looking straight up into the sky.

Captain Aramis Durai braced himself for the crash.

The airship had practically been running on fumes for the last hour or so, and with the last terrifying sputter the engines let out a frightening groan of defeat. He and the rest of the crew of the HMS Salamander prepared for an emergency descent. Unfortunately for them, they were no where near any port of call or open water---they would have to descend into the forest, lumbering, very resistant and not-at-all pliable trees and all.

The landing was rough, but survivable. Several deckhands were jostled and a sail was torn, dirt and sod was kicked up, but nevertheless they were unharmed. The captain ordered his men to disembark. They had to find fuel, any fuel that would power their ship and get them back to the nearest port. He had an enormous order of spices he was to unload at Sanodacci, and if he was unable to meet his deadline, his reputation would be severely tarnished. Aramis retrieved a map and tried to get his bearings as he and his crew disembarked, he was confused. The map didn't seem to make note of a garden anywhere near his supposed route. Yet here it was. Right before his very eyes. At the edge of the clearing there was a garden, enormous and magnificent. And no matter how tough the crew of the Salamander proved themselves over the year, the audible "Oohs" and "Aaahs" proved to him they were utterly in awe of the garden. Of course, Aramis was impressed as well. But being impressed wasn't going to feed his men or provide fuel for his airship. He'd have to see where and from whom he could get some fuel for their trip to Sanodacci.

...On the other hand, it couldn't hurt for the men to take an unscheduled shore leave. They worked hard enough.

Noxy hadn't been paying that much attention to the others in the garden for a long time, she had let her 'children' run around and play as they saw fit. Perhaps that was unsafe but she was a daemon, at the end of the day she didn't really play safe. Besides she knew they were smart, they kept away from the portals, often they would just play at hide and seek in the trees. All of them had gone apart from Anabelle. She sat happily beside her 'mother' in the shade of a tree watching the clouds.

"It's very beautiful here, isn't it mum?" Noxy couldn't help but smile, no matter how many times she heard one of the kids say that it made her smile. The daemon let out a small contended sigh while she nodded. It really was nice here. The peace was broken when she heard a smash in the distance. Just what was that? Was someone messing with the portals, had one of the trees fallen over, had a giant carrot started rolling down a hill? Instantly she was up, helping Anabelle to her feet and heading towards the sound. Imagine her surprise when she saw an airship! Or she thought it was at least. Who on earth had crashed an airship into or near the garden! The garden would not be happy, the residents would not be happy but it might give Noxy a chance for a little fun... 'No, no your possessing days are over, you can't just jump in and out of objects now you have the kids.'

"Who does that belong to?" Anabelle questioned moving to take Noxy's hand in her small one. "I don't know but we're going to find out." She spoke softly but there was a firmness to her words. Just who was trying to 'attack' their garden!

A loud crash echoed in the distance, the dark mass growling softly. "Thaaat can't be a good sign." He looked into the direction of the crash, a trail of smoke leading from the sky. "Change of plans. We can find out more about this stuff later, right now we need to find out what happened in that forest." Without hesitation, he began running towards the scene. The location being easy to...locate...he didn't feel the need to wait for the others to keep up, the urgency superseding that. Any that decided to join up, would reach the site and the right time anyway.

Theo turned his head and watched as Alex ran off to investigate the source of the cacophony. Furrowing his brow, he turned back to look at Yen.

"Well, Yen...today is turning out to be a bit more than I bargained for, for sure. As much as I'd love to stay here and investigate this strange pool of ooze, I can't help but agree with our intrepid new friend; we've got to find out what's going on over there. Wolf, Rune and Sapphire are over there somewhere...let's hope they're not involved."

He turned his wheelchair around to follow Alex, looking over his shoulder at Yen for a moment before taking off.

"You know, if you're coming along, you could always hitch a ride on the chair; seems like it could be quite the trip for a turtle to take. Not that I doubt you'll have any trouble keeping up, of course--just offering."

Standing still in the dense forest, Coute let out a sigh of acceptance. She was absolutely lost. She remembered the event that took place right before she came to consciousness. A large battle between the force of maniacal Iddo yves and the army of Noche Order was reaching its climax. The tides were in the Orders favor with the aid of the kingdom of Inglenook. However, to Coute’s horror, a dangerous rumor was confirmed in the final moments of the battle. The 4th reincarnation of the weapon of dark user, Neba Canaza, had joined the forces of Iddo. Using his Black liquid, the flooded the field with the strong weapon and scattered all the forces throughout existence. Coute ended up in this forest, but she wouldn’t allow herself to think about the horrible fates her allies may have been met with.

Conversing internally with by herself, the two presences of her symbiotic pistols made an entrance. ‘We were so close to victory me lady.’ The old voice of Leopold mourned. ‘We should have ripped his heart out the day of Ebbenhine, he was weak then, now I fear he will never be touchable, especially considering he now has Ferro with him.’ The beast barked.
Swallowing her emotions from her companions and hiding them in a part of her soul not eve they could reach, Coute walked on. She had to get back to her land and finish her conflict.

Snapping her neck around at the sound of a large crash behind her, Coute quickly lunged to the left and rolled in the underbrush to avoid the massive airship that came bellowing down from the sky. With her heart pounding and adrenaline pumping through her veins she pulled out her pistols and approached the crash site.

From this distance she could read the ships name. It was the Salamander

Yen whipped around when she heard the crashing noise in the background. The noise could only be one thing. Another. Freaking. Chore. It lowers its head so its hand can reach and touch its furrowed forehead. Eyes are shut tight since darkness provides little to no distraction. The turtle is really lost for words. Knowing that doing nothing isn't going to fix anything, the turtle opens one eye while slowly open the other eye halfway. It watches Alex run back toward the direction of where they first met each other. When Alex is a good distance away, Yen let out a huge/long sigh.

Yen tries to put on a smile face, remembering what Rune tells her, but is unsuccessful with turning her frown upside-down. Remember to keep calm, everyone is important, family sometimes get into an argument because it makes good times that more valuable. ...Oh, if only there were more fun times than there were bad.

The turtle took a glance at the pond before turning her gaze at Theo. "I was thinking of staying here for while. Since... well, everyone's over there, and..." Yen tries to come up with a good reason why she wanted to stay behind, but she couldn't. She decided to give up on it. It'll only be wasting more time. "I'm going to take your offer. ...And Theo? I am so ignoring that comment about turtle turbo speed." Thanks to the chair having wheels (which acts like a lever/ladder-steps for her stubby legs), Yen was able to pull herself up and crawl on top of Theo's arm.

Entering the woods, he lunged into the trees, jumping from branch to branch, as if an animal leaping. Quickly reaching the crash site, he stayed up high, using it to get a better vantage point of the area. It seemed a few others were already in the area. It would soon be time to sort the bystanders from the crash victims.

Wolf hears the crash and sees smoke at the distance, he wonders a bit. "Rune....sapphire.......i wonder what that nois-" he stops as he sees debris flying at them. He quickly summons a scythe and cuts down all the debris he sees. He sees one looking like it will hit Rune and Sapphire, not having a chance to cut it to pieces he quickly pushes the two out of the way and the big hunk of dirt and what ever was in it hits him.

With Rune and Wolf, Sapphire led them off to explore the garden. However, there was this loud sound that distracted them, Wolf beginning to speak out loud about it, but was cut off when chunks of debris came flying towards them. Wolf deflected most of them, but one came towards herself and Rune that he did not have a chance to block. Before Sapphire was able to block the flying debris, Wolf was pushing the two of them out of the way. She managed to land on her feet, catching a hold of Rune to keep the other upright as well.
"Wolf!" Sapphire exclaimed, running back over to him, "what are you doing!? I'm not helpless, you know. What is it with men and defending women?" She sighed. "Are you alright?"

Wolf just lays there for a while not shoiwng any signs of life. He then makes a groan and talks to sapphire. "Sorry......but..hey...can you get this......off....i think....i feel someting not right....at all...."

Theo smiled broadly and let out an audible chuckle as Yen climbed up onto the chair.

"I meant nothing by it, of course; after all, without this chair I wouldn't be able to get around at all up here--let alone keep up with you."

He waited for Yen to settle on a sturdy spot and then began to roll the wheelchair toward the large ship which was now in plain view, even from a distance. As they traveled, he glanced at Yen for a moment out of the corner of his eye with a much more serious expression.

"Just because we have more pressing matters at hand, don't think I've forgotten about the dark mass back there. As capable as he is, I didn't want to worry the newcomer with anything too serious. I know there's something more to that stuff than you were letting on; you've got a much better sense of the garden's equilibrium than I do, and if I was feeling that sinister energy, I know you were, too. Just how big of a disturbance are we dealing with, Yen?"
