Zoe looked at Rogue, the to Terrion. "no way, Ben is my brother, so i have to take care of him." She said, and flew past Rogue, shifting to a jaguar and lunging at Ben. oh no you don't!" She shouted as Ben tried to run, but she was faster. Ben looked back pleadingly. "don't kill me Zo. you know you cant do it, you love me to much." He said, a smile spreading across his face. he jumped into a tree and held out his hand. Zoe jumped and bit it. "fine, ill do this the hard way." He said and started to change, he changed to a large animal, but she couldn't identify it. He lunged and pinned Zoe in the snow. "you're coming with me, whether you like it or not." HE growled. "no i WONT!" She shouted, pulling out her sword and sticking him in the side with it. He howled in pain and jumped off, his wound bleeding horribly. "i don't want to hurt you Ben, but your asking for it." Zoe said, standing and walking backwards, but she stumbled over Nova. Ben lunged, but she rolled out of the way.
((perfect, so its agreed, were all connected to Ben's "Master"??))

"Zoe!" Rogue yelled after her but it was no use. "Damn it!" She cursed dropping Terrion on the ground as Nova burst through the trees on her left and lunged for Zoe. "Oh no you don't!" Rogue snarled and pounced at Nova, who summoned his blade with a flash of flame. She lunged, swinging her own broadsword and a wave of indigo and red exploded from the impact of their swords.
"You could just make this easier and come back with us...." Nova hissed.
"Us?? Don't tell me.......Ben's with you?!" Rogue forced him back, readying her blade. "He's working for him?!" Her grip slackened but became tight again. "No way I'm coming back! Ever! And you're not taking any of us with you!! I'm finished with being your pet!" She screamed, her blade glowing a stormy dark purple mixed with black sort of aura.
Nova frowned briefly, but readied his sword. "You leave me no choice. I'll bring you by force if I have to." His pupils became a bloody red. "You and the rest of them." He hissed, a snake-like voice.

Terrion groaned and shook her head to clear it. She got to her feet and placed a hand on a tree to steady her. Something poked her in her back.
"Oh, don't tell me. He sent you again?" She whipped around and drew her swords. There, standing before her was yet another boy. "Go back, Elia. You're not getting me again. You know what happens." She pushed away his sword with hers. "Go back before I'm forced to kill you."
"No, no, dearest Terr. You come with me, or I'll be forced to hurt your friends." Terrion snarled and jumped at him. Soon the air around the two rang out with the sound of their masterful dueling. "You've gotten better, dearest."
"Only to be expected after two more years alone," She spat the word like it was a piece of burnt bread. Elia's short dark hair was matted with snow. His deep green eyes burrowed into Terrion's blue eyes. She shivered. "What happened to the Elia I knew? The one who trained with me those years ago? Before he found us."
"He's dead. But my master made me better! He made me more powerful!"
"You are a fool, Elia! A stupid, stupid fool to believe him!"
"No, dearest. He made me smarter, faster, and quicker to my talents! You can be that too!"
"And I'd be a silly little puppet for him who wants the world! You don't know what you're doing, Elia. Come back to the world of light and forget about him!"
"Come with me, love. Come and be powerful!"
"When fish fly and birds swim!" Terrion locked blades with Elia. "Never in a million years."

Rogue's blade once again clashed with the fiery flames of Nova's weapon. She jumped back and felt her resolve crumble for a second. What if we can't beat them?! She panicked, but then shook her head, face set into a determined scowl. No. Never. We will prevail! She hopped back and her back found Terrion's. "For your information, Terr, some birds actually do swim." She joked, trying to give her friend a friendly gesture, but Nova was back on his feet. "Where the heck is he getting all of you from??" She muttered and lashed out with her blade again.
Nova gave her a sadistic grin. "Oh, we've existed for a very long time, Roux dear.....You just never had, excuse me, you were never given the time to find out."

Ben lunged at Zoe, but she jumped to her feet, drawing her own sword. Ben snarled and drew his own two swords, large curved swords, glowing an errie green, and Zoe knew those swords to well. The green was some kind of poison, that wont kill you but it will knock you out for a good time. "Come with me Zoe. ill take you somewhere safe, where you wont have to worry about the police and government. ill take care of you, and my friends here will make sure that yours are taken care of." He crooned, then lunged. Zoe also lunged, and they clashed, Zoe holding up her sword while Ben hit it over and over with his own. "fine Zoe, but you brought this upon yourself." Ben said, jumping back and his swords grew long chains at the hilt. "were not going anywhere. and you and your friends are going back to your master with this message, 'YOUR CANT HAVE US'" Zoe shouted, then shifted to a large wolf, bucking Terrion, Rogue, and striker onto her back and jumping into the trees, from tree limb to tree limb. Zoe felt a searing pain in her left leg. She looked down at it and saw one of Ben's swords stuck in it. Ben laughed evilly. "your not getting away that easily." He laughed. He tugged the chain, but Zoe jumped to another tree, only to be pulled out of the air, and held by her leg on the chain, over the tree limb. She howled with angry, letting her friends drop to the ground. She was losing her strength when Ben walked over to her, her vision fading. "i told you i didn't want to do this, but you left me no choice." He whispered, touching her face as she slipped into unconsciousness. Ben turned to Terrion, and lunged, slicing her arm with one of his swords. He looked to rogue. "sorry, but your just out of luck princess. your coming with me." He said, then lunged at Rogue.

Terrion glanced at the wound and smiled. "Not so fast, I won't let you take them. I'm phsycic, remember? I'm strong." She stumbled forward but regained her balance as fast as she had lost it.
"And I'm here, remember?" Elia pushed the flat of his blade onto her throat.
"Elia, you have a chance to be good again! Fight him!" Terrion gasped. He's just trying to distract you, don't give in, Terr. she scolded herself. She felt weaker.
"Sorry, sugar. Maybe you can join me, and you'd realize how much you love me."
"That's it, Elia. It was a simple crush for about a year, big deal. There's nothing more to it. Your master can't make me love you again, Elia. You got to give people time. Come back, Elia. Come back to the light." Terrion struggled. Don't give in, keep fighting the poison!
"No, no, dearest. You and I are meant to be together!"
"Fool," she spat, "He's twisted your mind, Elia. He's tainted you. You will never come back. You have left me no choice but to finish your pitiful existance." She slipped to her knees. "You were always a stubborn fool. Always a stubborn fool..." She shook her head to try to clear it of the invading fuzziness. "Fools. All fools to their last breath..."
"Come on, sugarplum, time to say 'hi' to your master," she heard Elia say in an almost singsong voice. Then the world went black.

"I'm not your princess!" Rogue back-flipped into a tree and surrveyed her surroundings. Zoe was down. Terrion was....Also down. Oh damn was the only thought she had before she ducked another attack from Nova. "Oh come on!!" She rolled out of the way and bounded back up. "Three against one is hardly fair!" She made a wall of darkness erupt out of the ground, pinning Nova to a tree before she flipped again, landing next to the unconcious Terrion. "But then again, I've never known anyone from your brotherhood to ever play fair." Where the heck are the others?!
Nova slammed against the tree but cut through the weak shadow with his blade and wiped the blood from his mouth. "Give it up, Roux. You can't beat us. Not with the weak powers you have now." He gave her grin. "You know you want to.....Deep inside, I know you still want to be with us......"

I've... failed... again. Surprised at hearing her thoughts as if she spoke them aloud, Terrion tried to glance around. Strange... It's almost as if I'm still awake but can't move...
"Come on, Terr, don't give in!" She opened her eyes to blackness. Maybe I'm dreaming and still in my cave in the Westland Forest... It's all so... strange... Meeting one Nightshade out in the forests was unlikely enough, but five? Near to impossibe.
"Come on, don't give in! Keep fighting!" She recognized that voice. Elia...? She looked around. Still darkness. "Keep going." Light intruded on her vision. She was standing a few yards away from a younger Terrion and Elia. It was one of their training sessions. "Keep on going Terr! You've almost got it!" As the younger Terrion finished gappling with the stuffed dummy, Elia cheered. "Great job, Terr!" The image faded away to another. Two emerald green eyes glowed in the darkness. Hystrical laughter filled Terrion's ears.
"I've found you, my love!"
"No!" she heard herself scream. She ran, but the eyes followed. A giant hand loomed in front of her.
"Come to me, child... Come and be completed..."
"Never!" She broke down, crying. "Just leave me alone! I hate you!" The hand came closer. "I hate you! I hate you!" she chanted until she could feel her throat go raw. Then she slipped off into a blissfully dreamless sleep.

Rogue was holding out as hard as she could but she alone was no match for the trained three. She fought, muscles tired, speed decreased, when she was finally cut by Ben's blade. She dropped to one knee, supporting herself by stabbing her sword into the frozen earth. Darkness was closing in on her vision. She squeezed them shut. She hated it. She hated being so god damned weak! Even for a Nightshade. Her whole body collapsed into the snow, blood trickling from her mouth. I need....To....Stay....Awake...... And all was dark.
Nova kneeled down next to Rogue's still form. "I'm sorry, love. But I had to...." He gently pushed the stray hair out of her face. "You didn't give me much of a choice....."

Zoe still hang, silent and unconscious from the chain on the tree. Ben snarled, but stopped. He turned to Zoe and touched her face. "we didn't want to do this Zo. you all left us no choice." He whispered in her ear, not knowing if she heard. Ben jumped up into the tree, and carried Zoe with him. he pulled the chain from over the tree, then he pulled his blade from her leg. he walked up to Nova, bent over Rogues body. "we need to go. i hear the police on their trail." Ben said, Zoe`s lolling body hanging over his shoulder. "Elia lets move out." Ben said loudly, looking over at Elia.

"With pleasure." Elia smiled and picked up Terrion and gently threw her over his shoulder. "We gotta move fast though, Terr's liable to wake up faster than the others, and she's almost my better in swordplay." He glared at Striker who had fallen into the snow. "Leave him, we're fast enough." He signaled to Nova- "Come on!" - and started to run through the forest, carefully supporting Terrion's head along the way. "We've got a ways to go, my love," he told her, even if she was unconcious, he knew she heard him. It must be torture to her, being trapped like that...
"We've got a ways to go, my love."
"Shut up and leave me alone, Elia." Terrion spat through clenched teeth. In her prison of darkness and memories and nightmares, Terrion spoke freely, even trying to communicate with Rogue and Zoe through telepathy, just because she knew a phsycic Nightshade could do that, even when unconcious. "Come on, Terr. Think." She scolded herself. She wrapped her arms around her knees. But what about the blood-red haired girl?

Zoe shook slightly as Ben ran through the forest, Nova and Elia on either side of him. "ha, she probably is Elia. and judging by the looks of it, Zoe's gonna wake up soon too." Ben said, looking wearily at Zoe.
Zoe heard what Terrian was thinking. " oh no!! we forgot her! ugh! im so stupid!!" Zoe thought to Terrian. "owww..." Zoe moaned in her head, unable to wake up, she felt like she was in a room full of drakness, with no walles, ceiling, or light. Zoe screamed agrily. she fell to the ground, pounding her fist angrily against the black floor. "HOW COULD I LET THIS HAPPEN?!" she screamed.

Zoe? Terrion perked up. It worked, I can't really believe that worked! She got up and walked to the black wall. Maybe I can find a way through. She scratched her scalp. I've never actually done that before... Where's Rogue? She paused and put her ear to the wall. She heard Zoe faintly. "Zoe?" She shouted at the wall. "If you can hear me, shout back!" Strange... Didn't think this was possible...

Zoe ran towards the soft sound of Terrians voice, when she ran into a wall. She stood and pout her own ear to the wall, and shouted "IM HERE TERRIAN! ILL SEE IF ROGUE WILL RESPOND!" Zoe ran to the other end and found a wall. "yes!" She whispered as she pounded the wall. "ROGUE! CAN YOU HEAR ME?!" Zoe shouted at the wall, then ran back to Terrian. "hey we need to get to each other." Zoe shouted. "gat any ideas?" Zoe said when she got an amazing idea. "STAND BACK TERRIAN! IM GOING TO RAM IT!" Zoe shouted, shifting to an elephant.
