I ain't givin' in, no matter how hard th' fight before me looks t' be!
>{Leon}< Not only was she getting awfully close, but the raven was messing up Leon's hair. Not that he was vain like some others whom were clearly in the force to just look good in armor (he knew a few), but he'd actually tried to look nice in front of a crowd, and there went his effort, right out the window.
No use thinking about that now. She'd asked him a question! "Eh? Tha's Charice. She's under Cap'n Ghis... a fine flier... our... only 'un now." His features grew solemn as he thought of Katherine, but only for a second. If people blinked, they would have missed the frown entirely.
>{Watch Lieutenant}< If ya just bel'eve, then... ev'n if th' world be torn asunder, vict'ry will be yers to hold!

I was blessed with the gifts of the goddess, so show me respect! It's not every day that you stumble across a rarity like me.₪Victoria₪ So after all, the young Hero girl was deciding to be uptight and follow the Hawk King for fashion advice? Not that she minded, but Victoria WAS making an honest effort to try and make Blossom feel like the costume was fine. She looked around to see costumes that were far... not less formal.
When Tristai and Arashe, the two Rangers she was friends with entered the room, she greeted both fondly, eager to catch up with them. "Well." She first winked towards Arashe, a hint of a smirk on her lips lined witht he usual pink lipstick. "Aren't you a sight for sore eyes, Sharpshooter?"
All the while, a sort of sensation traveled through her. There was another magical presence here, stalking through the room as quickly as the shadows were dancing and mingling. The bishop wasn't sure what it was, but she was hoping that they were a friend, and that no one could see the unease Victoria felt inside show on her face.ΘжElimine's LightжΘ If you are my ally, fear not, for healing is coming your way. Become my enemy and you'll be purged, and dead you shall stay.

Shinon blinked and went inside he found a seat and sat down. He closed his eyes and rested. Trying to get a grip on his thoughts. Where am I, what's going on, and most importantly who am I? Shinon clenched his fist and opened his eyes.

Why was there so many people here? Bozo did not understand. Master always told Bozo that when humies gathered in one place dressed up like that, it was because they were celebrating something. Master said it could be a birthday (in which case, there'd be cake!), the day when something big happened, amongst other things Master tried explaining to Bozo. Bozo didn't remember all of what Master said, but Bozo was proud of what she did remember.
Bozo fluttered into the large room through an open window. Maybe Master is here at the party?
Bozo glided slowly through the air, sniffing with Bozo's very sensitive nose (Master always praised Bozo about that, which made Bozo happy). Master smelled a certain way, if Bozo remembered right. However, Bozo couldn't see anyone that looked like Master. But maybe Master looked different than usual.
Then, suddenly, Bozo picked up a scent. Bozo remembered the scent too well. It was Master's smell. But Bozo could not see him. Bozo followed the scent, dodging and weaving through the crowds, trying not to get caught. Bozo can't see Master...but why can Bozo smell Master? Is Master different? Can Master remember me? Bozo does not understand why Bozo can't see Master, but if the smell really is Master, then Bozo can--hey food!
Completely forgetting what Bozo came there to do, Bozo made a loop and dove down onto a plate of various fruits, and started stuffing Bozo's face full of fruit in a cutesy manner, not paying attention to Bozo's surroundings.

((URL's just a link back to the Lance post Ed is replying to, no video and no music~)) Ed scoffed as the entrepreneur counted off a few unusual name-gender combinations, clearly amused by the things he had experienced. She supposed he was right. She got her nickname from her real name, Edina, a name that no one in Learania should know except for her father and two younger brothers. And it was a valid female name, so her alias wasn't that unusual.
Women named Bob and men named Clarisse. Ed was going to keep an eye out from now one for those kinds of people... Maybe she'd already met a few.
Her attention went from the chieftain back to Lance as he suggested not approaching the figure. She nodded, not having really considered it in the first place but knowing the wisdom of his words. Lance was a commoner? Ed glanced over him perplexedly, unable to determine from his clothes, but considering his manner of speech she decided that it wasn't so strange."Better to be safe than sorry."Ed suppressed a laugh, though her face split into a wide and knowing grin. She was never in safe situations any more. No sir, she'd just right into the face of danger first chance she got.
The girl's deep blue eyes followed Lance's gesture to a most peculiar guest, at which Ed gawked in amazement."You see that woman over there? The one that's half reptile? At first glance, you'd think it'd be a Halloween costume. After all, it seems more likely than that she'd be an actual, what do you call them, naga? Nagini? Either way, I've met a group of that creature once, so what if it's actually a real one? Then that would be quite strange, wouldn't you think?""Naga," she repeated rather unconsciously, taking in the unusual creature. Ed blinked in bewilderment and shook her head. "Nuh-uh -- that can't be a costume. The way the rest of the body moves -- how could anyone make that real? I don't think that's magic either. I'm sure of it..." What made Ed believe this so strongly was her studies of animal anatomy. Ed had never planned on transforming into a snake, but she had the basics down of how muscles should move, and she was sure no one in a costume could make their body slither in that way.

LATE! FD was running extremely LATE! He should have left with Nils to go help him set things up, but noooo~, he was too tired from having stayed up the past night carving pumpkins. Pumpkin after pumpkin after pumpkin, all to put at the front of their house in celebration of the festivities at hand. He'd carved pumpkins with dragons, revenants, baels, mogalls and other monsters. Honestly, they only needed one.
No matter. He was here now. As he entered, he realized just how few people he really spoke with very often in Eyris. Looking for Nils, he saw all sorts of people he knew the names of, and had fought alongside with, but never hung out with at festivities and the like. That would have change. Some more searching and he eventually spotted Nils off to the side. As he approached him, he realized Nils looked very emotional.
He embraced him before asking "What's going on?"

I feel like I can face the day... ...and I can forgive. ♦ ◄ALIHI► ♦ ————————————
Alihi blinked a few times. Sophia? Where had she heard that name before...? "Isn't she one of the crew-members?" She tilted her head slightly to the side. "If so, she might be around somewhere... I mean, I think most of the crew is here." Alihi glanced around the room quickly before turning back to Ephraim, holding her arms out to take Amara back. "Why don't you go look for her? You never know... she could be waiting for you." She grinned at Ephraim and winked.
... Apparently, her old habit of teasing couples hadn't died completely after her tacticianing days ended in Elibe...
———————————————— And I'm not ashamed to be... ...the person that I am today.

I shall now demonstrate the Law of Sacae… Tribesmen fighting with all they have for the sake of one another! ~)Sue(~ And there was FD, supposedly awarded the "Tallest FEF Member" award by an anonymous person. It was good to see him, embracing Nils and all, because it reminded the nomad that she was indeed part of the Host Club, and they were slowly coming back together. They were just missing Rei, Amelia, and Rhys, but they all had to be somewhere in this crazy partying crowd. "Ah... FD." Sue had long lifted her hands off the ice dragon siblings, and the nomad gave the flametongue breather a traditional nomad salute, only a brief one. "Good to see you, friend of Sacae... of the Host Club. I'm glad you could make it." Although the stoic nomad girl hadn't spoke so much, she was starting to open up more and more every year. She was hoping that her father would approve, and not think that she was assimilating completely into Learanian culture. She still held the Sacaen vows she made true, and that would never change. ~)Nomad Trooper(~ Tell me, is your reasoning bent? If so, allow me to straighten it with my >--arrows-- > and o=|lllswordll>

Shinon stood up and explored his surroundings. He admired the work of the decorators of the ball. Many people were already there and others were still coming in. His memories were still all to foggy. He remembered that he was fighting, and someone helped him. People were running, then something exploded. He also remembered losing something important and a girl, she took care of him. Shinon shook his head. He spotted Sue and went to introduced himself to Sue. "Hello, I'm Shinon, have... we met before?"

Now I'm stuck here But I don't belong here ~Ninian~"I-I'm alright," Ninian stammered. The stab of pain had gone as quickly as it had come, though it was proof that the bruises on that side were not completely healed. Her left side had taken quite a beating from her eye all the way down her arms, side, and legs. The healers had done their best, but there were wounds only time could heal. Time, and a lot of rest, which she seemed to be getting in large quantities lately. That was part of the reason she had chosen to attend the party this evening. Despite the knowledge that the healers probably would not like her doing something so strenuous just yet, it was worth the pain to see her brother and son again, and even Sue was here, one of the few friends she had made since coming to Learania.
She took Roy's reaching had, smiling apologetically at both the red haired boy and his uncle. Sue placed a hand on her head, and saying that this was supposed to be a happy occasion, so no one should be crying. Ninian knew this, but how could one help but cry when they were reunited with their loved ones after so long? That had been the hardest part about staying in the infirmary--no visitors were allowed to see her for the first few weeks while she recuperated.
"I'll be alright, Roy," Ninian said as Roy tried to lead her to tables she had not noticed before, presumably to sit down. "It's only a little bruise, that's all." Well, it was little now, but it hadn't been a few weeks ago, so she wasn't really lying. Right?
And then someone was hugging Nils. Ninian almost panicked before she realized who the man was--FD. Strange how the dancer had never really looked at him before. She knew what a fire dragon looked like in dragon form of course, but FD was so often in human form here, and Ninian had yet to really see him, thus her mistaking him for a stranger if only for a moment.
"H-hello, FD," she murmured, shy for having never spoken to him before, and also slightly wary of him. Though perhaps that was more of a leftover instinct from her days of being mercilessly taunted by some of the fire dragons on the other side of the Dragon's Gate. Shoving those thoughts from her mind, she smiled shyly up at FD. I wanna be where you are Maybe I'm not so far from home

Crew member? Now that Alihi mentions it, Sophia was part of the planning during Tibarn and Arya's wedding....Guess Ephraim just never knew she was actually a part of the crew. Maybe his chances of finding her were better. " Even if she is here..." he paused, thinking about that for a minute. If Sophia even was here, there's also that chance where she'll be too busy for them to even talk.
"Why don't you go look for her? You never know... she could be waiting for you."
Ephraim turned back to the tactician, nearly flushed at that idea. "T-t-t-t-t-that's highly impossible!" oh how the prince wished that was true. Last they met was at the hostess cafe and Sophia herself barely talked! Though the idea of Sophia looking for him would be nice for a chance. He felt a little embaressed looking for her each time there was a party. "..Well...its..i-its possible" he muttered, still a bit embarrassed..wait, why was he embarrassed in the first place? Aaah, it made no sense. Although, Ephraim can't really deny the fact that he would hope to actually find her before the party was over.

We're part of a story, part of a tale... ... Sometimes beautiful, sometimes insane... ♫ ◄NILS► ♫ ◘══════════◘
"... I-it's okay, Nini..." Nils murmured, though he wasn't sure if Ninian actually was able to hear him. Though he was hurt and upset that she left in the first place, the fact that she was here erased that feeling.
He winced when Ninian pulled away and held her side carefully, as if he were feeling her pain. "Ninian..." The bard looked to his Nephew and then back at Ninian. Concern began to eat away at him again. "Just take it easy, alright?" He said softly to Ninian, worry and other emotions written clear on his face.
Nils didn't have the time to think of anything else to say before a pair of arms wrapped tightly around him. A small smile came to his face and he returned the embrace, feeling content once more. "Hikaru... Ninian's back. And so is my Nephew." He decided to leave out the whole incident with Jaren; after all, it was in the past... It didn't need to be brought up again, especially when another argument or fight could potentially happen. His smile grew brighter as he glanced at Ninian, then Roy, and finally up at his love. "And now you're here, too..."
◘══════════════════◘ ... No one remembers how it began...

Rath looked around the room, noting that it was now flooded with new faces, and there were still people arriving. Not that it was a problem, seeing as how the main dishes haven't even been served yet. Songhua was experimenting with some of the Learanian appetizers, and thankfully he found most of them to be quite satisfying by the look on his face... not that it ever had an unhappy expression, really.
As he scanned the room, he noted Alihi mingling with other guests. Her expertise was well known now in Learania, for the most part, and she had proved useful before, so it seemed like a good idea to introduce her to the Chieftain. With this in mind, he excused himself from the crew table and made his way over to where Alihi was standing. "Excuse me." He interrupted, looking at Ephraim. "It is not my intent to put an end to your conversation, but there is someone I would like to introduce Alihi to." He then looked at Alihi, turned away, and started walking back to the crew table.

"Ah" He turned to look at the nomad. One he hadn't particularly talked to actually. One of the crew members whom Ephraim had actually heard of as well. The moment Rath asked to pull Alihi away, Ephraim shook his head "Its no bother at all" he was still holding Amara. Figuring the little girl might want to follow her mother, he set her down on the ground.
Maybe now might be a good time to scout the area, get a good idea on who was here..possibly find who he was looking for in the first place. But like always, his chances were slim but Ephraim was going to try anyways.

He brought the glass back up to his mouth to take a sip. At that time, there was a little noise to his right, and then a thump. He finished the sip, and looked over. There lay a girl next to a pillar, to his surprise.
He went over, looked around, and knelt down. "Hello?" he began, tapping her shoulder, "You awake?" No response. "Aw great... another thing that falls on my shoulders..." He looked around again, no one was looking. Heath tried another tap on her shoulder, this time harder, and concluding that nothing was wrong, she just had passed out at a rather inopportune time.
"Crud, I don't know how to wake an individual up without being rude about it..." Then, Heath decided to try something a bit different. "There's chocolate cake around...?" was whispered.
