About 300 people per Officer and that's just police. Now that they're bringing the national guard into these things? And let's not forget the fact that most people will do whatever they say to avoid getting hurt or in trouble.
The point is that this isn't Iran. That kind of thing is not supposed to happen here. We're supposed to have the right to protest and walk down the same street where people are protesting without getting attacked.
Then there's all the other things they're doing and getting away with that most people say "they could never do that blah blah blah".
My boyfriend's father told him it was unconstitutional and they would never make a law where they could force people to take vaccines. Then I e-mailed my boyfriend the page about it on the mass.gov website.
There are efforts to pass bills every year that would curl your hair with how reprehensible they are. Last year alone I believe there was a "Make homosexuality a mental illness again" bill that got shot down.
There will be no mandatory flu vaccinations, it simply isn't going to happen. The Supreme Court would laugh that s**t right out of the law.
The National Guard and the military are fully entitled to act as a police presence here, as long as they don't force us to let them live in our houses it isn't unconstitutional.
When a protest turns violent, for whatever the reason, personal rights are revoked for every single person who is protesting. Yes, it's true.
And you know what?
It's a good idea.
Back during the Civil Rights movement the police officers were ordered to not draw a weapon at any time, and when the crowds hit bloodthirsty levels officers would get injured and killed, and because it is damn near impossible to PROVE which side started the violence what it boils down to is ten people per cop and they're all REALLY MAD.
Not every cop was "in on it", a majority were probably just trying to keep the peace, because if left unchecked that protest would have turned into a riot, like they all do.
I'm not saying anybody is in the right or the wrong here, but I AM saying that there is way more than just one side to this, ad that people's irrational fears of "omg the guvernment" are clouding their minds to hearing out the opposition.
