Sitting in a generic black SUV, Katarina leans back and links her fingers, closing her eyes and assessing the other recruits thoughts that were in the vehicle. Mostly it was just impatience and annoyance, nothing of importance that she wanted to hear about.
Dismissing them she glances out the tinted window to her right as they pull to a stop in front of the main doors at the Keepers Outpost. Opening the door and sliding out of the vehicle, Katarina straightens her jeans and walks around the car and through the main doors pausing to look around and wait along with the other recruits.

There was a naked man, tazed on the floor, with guards dealing with him. But aside from that things looked relatively normal, or at least in the sense of a keeper outpost. Linc walked down the stairs to meet the recruits, a smile on his face. He knew the names of most, using that name as he greeted them. "Katarina," He said, pausing by her. "You were originally from St.Eva, weren't you?"

Burning Disaster As he convulsed on the floor Dimitri thought to himself "Still better than actually bullets. OHGODTHATSTINGSWHYWONTTHEYSTOP!" Linc walked over to Dimitri and pulled off the ski mask, crouching down to look at him. "Are you one of the new recruits too?"

Still twitching on the ground Dimitri nodded, showin Linc the green stone embedded on his necklace. "Yessir."

Raising an eyebrow at the convulsing naked man, Katarina raised her attention to the man that had addressed her. "Yes, I was." she said simply, holding out her hand. "You must be Linc?"

Linc nodded at Dmitri, "Get up, and get dressed, we've got work to do." He then turned back to Katarina, taking her hand and shaking it. "Lincoln, or Linc, either works, but yes. When you lived in St.Eva where were you stationed? We need someone slightly familiar with the city. It'll help keep things organized."

"I lived in the middle class area so I know the city well. I've spent time walking on the streets." Katarina says, letting her hand drop back to her side.

"Good," Linc said, simply. "We may have you start remaking connections, getting to know old friends and such. It will help us keep an ear to what is going on in the city."

Katarina nods, acknowledging what Linc had just told her. She didn't have many friends but she could make them quickly, if that's what was needed of her, by picking their brains for some similarity or weak point.
"Okay. Is there anything in specific you want me to listen for? Someone we need to find?" She asks, letting her control slip enough to listen for any of his thoughts.

Linc's thoughts remained particularly simple as he looked Katerina back, though there was a single question in his head that echoed louder than the others, are you peeking? His smile broadened. "Then make some friends, there is one in particular that I would like to get into the mind of. A Marcus Shipp, he's a black. And I'd like to know in what way."

About then, the vehicle that Crane had left in returned, a window shot out and front end damage, presumably from running things over. Crane stepped out, running a hand through his hair, inhaling sharply as he made his way towards Lincoln and Katrina

Shock flitted across her face, before she composed it and narrowed her eyes at Linc marginally. How can he can tell when I'm doing it? "Got it. Any idea of where I can find him in the city?" Or what he looks like, she mentally added keeping an eye and ear out for a face to flit through his mind.

After a moment it was clear that Lincoln couldn't tell. He just knew katarina's power, and was guessing. "Look for the Guard, they're an organization of his creating. Other than that, you're on your own."
He glanced over at Crane as he walked in. Renae was following after, though a few guards had to help her, the blood loss pretty bad.
"Things didn't go well, I take." Linc said, without emotion.
