Kat looked at him a moment. "You know, to actually work, it needs to have a little bit more sharing of fluids. But that will do for now, I suppose. I at least know you have no intentions of killing me." Her smile sparked slightly, "And you really shouldn't look at your sister that way."
She looked away from him to check out the message on her phone, assuming it was Rook being overly paranoid.

Ruby St.Claire Kat looked at him a moment. "You know, to actually work, it needs to have a little bit more sharing of fluids. But that will do for now, I suppose. She looked away from him to check out the message on her phone, assuming it was Rook being overly paranoid. The message was short, stating Rook was on his way- He had rested and was in shape to go.

"I'll try not to. But if it helps you relax some, the kisses aren't personal. It's just a thing I have to do to get information. May as well be a handshake." She watched the movement of his hand in his hair, and gave a slight nod. "You passed the intitial test of aggression, yes. And as far as I've seen, no one is explodable, though you may want to watch out for one of the sophmores. Sounds like he may be a firestart."

Rook entered the school, disguised as a teen in a loose mexican hoodie, long hair pulled into a ponytail. He spotted Kat and Jeffery at the end of the hall, and made his way down to them, shoving his hands into his pocket.
"Howdy Kat, Coach. How's it going?" He said, stepping up to the two, fiddling with his hoodie so the large Rook he wore around his neck was visible, hoping Kat caught it.

"It would probably be best to hand him over to us, but all we'll be doing is trying to keep the bad guys off of him...as you so nicely put it." "Am I wrong?" He shrugged, nodding to a door. "This is my class, and lunch will be out soon. So how can I contact you if something goes wrong?" He glanced at Rook, not recognizing him of course. "And that's my cue."

"May not be wrong, but you're still gloomy" Kat glanced at Rook, not recognizing him right off, even when he showed the symbol. It finally dawned on her though, who it was, considering the message sent earlier. She turned back to Jeffery. "I'll slip you a number later. Have fun with your class."

Rook smiled, tucking his rook pennant back under the hoodie.
"Nice mark on your head. Got into a fight on your first day?" He asked, shoving his hands back into the kangaroo pouch, starting to walk down the hall.

Kat gave Jeffery a slightly mocking wave, then turned to Rook with a smirk. "Got a little rough in a makeout session. Possibly had to do with powers, but I'm not sure yet." She glanced Rook up and down, and then shook her head with a slight sigh, "You look like you're going to offer me drugs."
