Added some more information on marriage, infidelity, a few new traditions etc. etc.
Some of it is liable to change, as the pride has some odd ideas on faithfulness.
The borders may not always stay so strict, especially during dire times. . . I'll mull over that and poke Nux and Pao on how the rules work exactly. :3 It's also late and I'm kind of sleepy so my brain could be melting. . .
Might be getting a new thread with an actual mule for the pride.
Will also work on cert art/colours/etc. soon-ish too. n.n

Alright so at long last and in living color here they are.
"Grave Digger" aka Letšwa Moêpi

and his twin "Grave Robber" aka Letšwa Mothopi

So. Grave Digger originally started out as a Soquili design, but I'm transfering him over to SOA instead and because he's such a cool design I then decided to make him a brother.
Kind of looking for judgment to be passed on these two as far as if they'd be acceptable for the pack. I've got a lot of ideas and venues for them. So please don't be afraid to tell me if they don't quite fit into the pride ideal. Given their questionable nature I understand that they might not fit well into calm, civilized and/or more structured/rule abiding pride.
These two are definitely a force to be reckoned with and any pride leader would definitely have to carefully weigh the pros and cons of keeping this duo around.
They are violent. Have shown cannibalistic tendencies. Will disregard rules not in their favor. Can be belligerent, stubborn, rebellious and resentful when reprimanded. Lack compassion for outsiders. And are independent minded amongst other flaws.
However, they can also be unerringly loyal to a pride that doesn't try to restrict them from being who they are or tries to control their every move. Will fight to the death for a cause they believe in, including sustaining/protecting their pride. Would give their lives for any and all members of their pride no matter their age or rank. Are surprisingly good with cubs (inside their pride). Not to mention they are both skilled warriors/hunters.
They're definitely quirky boys and I have no doubt they'd probably cause their share of trouble, but I think they'd also add a lot of character to the pride if you're interested in having them.
Positions I'm interested for them would be master hunter/warrior or hunter/guard depending on if I made them sick or not.

Now they'd be wild dogs, right. . .?
Either way, honestly the rules are slightly less restricting upon those that are non-lions. Non-lions can come and go as they please through the pride lands and are good companions and members within the pride. They're treated as equals and are depended heavily upon, thus they are well-respected.
The only rules that they would obey is any orders the ruling King or Queen might set for them, especially if one of them was desirous of a Warrior position. The future King would eventually rule over head and assign various hunting parties or what not, so they'd have to understand the responsability that would come with guiding other members in the pride.
So if the King said 'don't hunt those bucks because ________' and they did, they might get in trouble. Though they're fairly peaceful and try to keep things quiet and safe for the Pride, I'm quite sure not every member is happy nor necessarily harbors the relaxed and laid back attitude of others.
They certainly would add some character dynamics to the pride. . . . Be both a blessing and a curse, something that may come to haunt them should leadership change and the new rulers NOT find them favorable to stick around.
Honestly though, their flaws outside of bending some rules (in which case they'd probably just be kept in line by their superiors) aren't anything that can't be dealt with. . . They would be respected and treated equally; they would great protectors especially with their current numbers so low.
So long as they didn't stir up too much trouble with their pride members (or start an out right war with a neighboring pride x___x; ), or pick upon the sick ones or those close to death. . . . There is no reason why they couldn't stay. Might make for some fun plot and some fun dynamics with other members. . .
And unless Nux or Pao have objections, I'd be willing to let them join as new members OR perhaps they were born in to the pride recently and were little hellions to be dealt with during all that chaos and plague.

Nope. They're lions. I just happened to like that line art and it was particularly easy to color. lol. So that's what I colored them on. x3
-Wonders how much of her previous post that changes-
**lol. For some reason while writing that post -points above- I kept wanting to write "pack" opposed to pride.. probably because they are on wolf/dog line art. lol. So any spot where I did slip up and put pack I meant pride. I caught myself a number of times but it appears to me like I might have missed one or two. XD;;

That's probably where I got confused. As you did refer to pack so I figured they were wild dogs. . .
But lions huh. . .?
Hnnn. . . . Well, once again, they'd probably have to be held on a tight leash. Especially as there are some rather strict rules when it comes to lions. They're really not supposed to leave the borders, though I'm sure that should the pack grow, stepping outside for a wee-bit is probably something that some are sneaky enough to do. . . (Just don't get caught, mind. >: )
The reason they're so strict at the moment is because their name is still kind of smeared due to previous rulers, and furthermore, the current queen isn't going to want to spread the disease to others or their neighbors. It's best to keep the lions in and maybe allow the borders to open at a later date, once things have cooled down. . . .
Violence can be dealt with so long as it isn't turned on other members of the pride, especially the sick. If they could still be loyal to the pride, they'd still make great guards or a Warrior type. . . Cannibalism isn't something the ruling Queen and King would cringe too much about because there may have been lion Secret Keepers in the past. . .so long as the two aren't found nibbling on any pride members, of course. >(
Honestly, again, can't see that changing too much. They might be in trouble a lot, but then again, they also may be forgiven their slights. Especially if one or both are diseased; they need every lion they can get at the moment and might actually fit with future-future-future meta-plot pride ideas I've got rolling around in my head.
So I'd still say they'd be very interesting lions. A little different, but if they can be loyal and protective of their pride and its members. . . well. . .their flaws can be dealt with for a time. :3

I don't know how well they'd take to being kept on a leash. xD I think it would really depend on what sort of things they were restricted from doing.
They'd probably get in trouble A LOT. XD I won't even pretend like they'd follow rules that got in their way. To them pride rules would be more like preferable guidelines.
They're pretty merciless when it comes to outsiders... any stranger that came with unsavory intentions wouldn't make it past them alive... and then they might use said outsider's intestines as a tug-toy.
As such.. I'd rather them be in a pride then outside of one. God help the savannah if they were rogues. Loyalty that extends only to the members of their pride is far better than them not having any loyalty to anyone. ^^;;
I'm considering making them the sons of one of my god concepts, but that's still iffy.
They would probably come and go from the pride as they pleased, though I couldn't see them being able to stay away for long. They'd be too concerned about what might happen in their absence. So occasional day trips.. maybe a few days to a week at most they might disappear for.
They'd be good for cub napping and herding in new members when the pride had need for it.
Anyhow. If you like them/think they'd be acceptable pride members you can add them to the list. :3 I'm currently questing for them.

I say let's do it. : ) The current rule is for diseased lions to stay within the pride's borders and they shouldn't stray. It's just too dangerous really, and their current reputation isn't so hot.
But there are certain rules and times when such restrictions are lessened. A need for new blood might force that rule to step to the way side so others can find new mates or new members. . . And honestly, the guards and warriors probably have the highest likelihood of wandering.
Technically they're meant to keep lions in and threats out. But I always figured if you made friends with a guard you could disappear for a little bit with out word reaching the King. . . .
And seeing how there IS no King at the moment, well. . . The Queen has other things to worry about, though she might send scouts after them if the days drag on and on. . .just to make sure they're all right (even though it's painfully obvious they can handle themselves).
Not everyone is bound to abide by their rules. . . but this pride is pretty accepting. Other members might look down upon them, or gripe, or mention that it's lions like them that got them in Pestilences disfavor last time. . . .
But they are crafty and could be useful. Especially to help protect the sick and weak. . . Guards, and good strong ones at that, are especially valued because other prides and creatures can easily see that it might be easy to take them down or take over. So the cubs and members too sick to fight or keep up their strength are especially vulnerable. . .which is why they would be tolerated as well as they are.
Even if they are notorious for breaking rules. ;3

Awesome! I'm excited. I think they'll have a good home in the pride. xD I definitely don't think they'll be favored by all the members of the pride, but I do believe that for most part their earnest desire for the well being of the pride will make up for their unruly and inappropriate behavior.
I'd like to put them in a Warrior (for Digger) and Master Hunter (for Robber) position respectively. However. Since I'm not sure how long it'll take to obtain them via customs and all I don't want to steal the spots from other people who are interested.
So if someone comes along and wants the positions (given that they're only 3 available of each) then feel free to give it to them. The boys can just as easily be a regular hunter and/or guard.
My plan however is for Robber to be a carrier and for Digger to be sick. However because it's been dormant for most of his life he was considered only to be a carrier like his brother. As such he would have been able to snag a warrior position in the pride. Wanting to hold on to that position he would have probably hid his symptoms from everyone (including his brother). So Robber will have NO idea that his twin is sick.. which.. will be really sad when Digger starts to get into the advanced--no turning back stages.
For now he probably gets violently ill for a week or two every few months and I would think during that time he would probably keep to patrolling the most barren outskirts of the pride to avoid being seen by anyone, especially his twin. Then returns to more localized patrol once he was feeling better though not without signs of wear and tear.
Sound okay to you?
