 Since this contest is almost over [& I just realized I need to now check this thread daily to make sure no more members decide to be the "copyright police" without even doing any research into copyright laws], I decided to share my thoughts on the graphics that have been submitted with ya'll.
** Don't read too much into these comments, they're just my first thoughts at looking at the submissions. So don't try to decipher the winners of this contest by what feedback I gave them, lmfao, cause I have noooo clue who will win **
@ KittyJun: I love the banner with the black & white striped tights! For whatever reason, that image just seems so appropriate for Burn.
@ RubySlippers: I LOVE all the original slogans you thought of!
@ Lillith: I actually like them, & I think the last banner in your first post -- the big one with the diagrams -- is freakin' awesome.
@ Synch Mosher: I love the 200x40 banner you did, 'cause all the text is like as easy to read as can be. The button is also awesome... I love how you used the slogan: "be unique", it's perfect for a button :3
@ fck_my_username: Hah, somehow that captures Burn so freakin' well
@ blacvamp: WOW... You are a freakin' AMAZING graphic artist!
@ Jessie: You're a freakin' AMAZING graphic artist too! I also really, really love the images you chose to use.
@ Harvey: Kudos for being so dedicated!

Maybe, just MAYBE, if you learn how to spell "dEdicated" correctly I'll throw you a tad bit of gold blaugh ... Because an enemy of man is what I am, & when the end comes you'll hear me laughing...

Thank you. I'm just glad that there is a contest for me to participate in, since many requires drawing skills.

elysia x Regarding concern over violating copyright laws by using pictures from the internet --
AS A GENERAL RULE IN THE U.S. , YOU ARE LEGALLY ALLOWED TO USE A COPYRIGHTED IMAGE FOR AN EDUCATIONAL, RESEARCH, OR NOT-FOR-PROFIT PURPOSE. Of course, just like everything else that Corporate Lawyers are insane enough to worry about, copyright laws are very, very complicated, & currently even the law itself seems to be confused about what's copyright infringement & what's not. However, as it currently stands, AS LONG AS YOUR USE OF A COPYRIGHTED IMAGE IS IN NO WAY CONNECTED TO ANYTHING THAT MAKES YOU MONEY, YOU'RE PROBABLY A-OKAY. ... Because an enemy of man is what I am, & when the end comes you'll hear me laughing...
Uhh. Actually. I gotta say - starbloody's concerns are pretty legit, because how I read it was that he/she had issues with using other peoples' artwork, like photos from dA, which I totally agree with. Common courtesy, there.
Though I now have no qualms about using other, non-dA images for this. Tag folder raid time GET!×××

@Candycoated Toxins: It's almost the same as another person using one of these burn banners(like the picture or background) and making another banner out of it.
I formatted my windows 4times in a month. One because windows got stuck in the welcome screen(on start up) everytime. Cant do anything about that. And then windows asked me for a password before my desktop loaded. I did NOT have a password for my laptop. Then again before desktop loads it shuts down on its own. The weirdness is killing me gonk
Only happy because it can only be fixed by reinstalling windows rather than changing parts of the laptop. I loose software installation files and such, so long and difficult to get them back.
Ah, the contest ends tomorrow.
