Kikyo walked closer to Alex.
"Yeah...what do these bumps mean?" she asked her, looking from her arms to Alex. She decided that for now, Alex was a good person to ask any questions she had, considering that she had answered all of her questions so far.

"They're called goose bumps, or chill bumps, or whatever you want to call them. You get them when you're cold, or when you feel a strong emotion like fear. They raise because then the hair on your skin can imprison heat better that way. I think. I'll look it up when I...we get to my place. Or are you gonna go somewhere? I wouldn't suggest it. There are gangs and stuff around here..." Alex touched her wrist as a reminder. She'd examine it at home.

0oaphroditeo0  Mia raised her thin eyebrow, trying to remember what he was talking about. "Oh, that. Yeah, no problem, I speak the truth, though. That mask is pretty gross," she stated as she stood with her hands on her hips and her head cocked to the side. She couldn't help but notice how they were casually talking in a room with a dead guy, as if nothing had happened. She shrugged slightly smiling at Plague's compliment.
"Well thanks for that. I bet it's because I'm not really wearing anything, but that's the way I roll," Mia smiled, suddenly wondering how young this boy was. I'll figure it out later I guess, she mused when she heard knocking on the door.
"Mr. Reyes, you're meeting is in two minutes. Are you okay?" Mia heard through the door, causing her to move into the other room.
"You better follow me, otherwise this whole building will freak... unless you want to kill all of them. I won't stay for that, though," she rambled as she ducked through the hole that she made and stood with her back to the broken window.

Kikyo nodded a little at the gang explanation. As she walked after Alex, she was looking around in awe at the houses and buildings. When Alex grabbed her hand, she jumped a little.
"Huh?" she asked, looking at the street. "Uh...Thanks?" she said, trying to think of the right word.

"Oh. Yeah. No problem. I was just worried you'd walk out there while there are still cars going. If you got hit, you'd...well...splatter." Alex let go of the girl's hand and blushed, wiping more blood away from her nose. As soon as she got home, she was putting a tissue this. She glanced up to see the signal change as the cars stopped. "OK, now we can go." She pointed across the street and began walking.

Kikyo nodded, and followed Alex across the street. She was still looking around at the houses and buildings around her, and the cars only made it worse. She had wide eyes, like a child at a candy store, and she was taking in everything. She even saw somebody wave at them.
"Alex, what does that mean?" she asked, meaning the wave.
Blade finished his homework, and yawned. He threw everything into his bag, and sat on the couch, waiting for Nali to come over or call.
Nali sighed as she left the classroom. The teacher had lectured her about being punctual and a bunch of other stuff that annoyed her to no end. She had to hurry, otherwise her brother would be getting restless. She was running down the sidewalk, and spotted two girls. She didn't know them, but she waved as she went by.

Cameron woke in her armor, her body sore and stiff. She rolled off her bed and landed on her musky, old carpet. She slipped off her hard, silver boots and stretched her toes. She stepped into her tiny bathroom and took of her chest, leg, and arm plates. She unhooked her cape and it slumped to the floor. She ruffled her thick blonde hair and slipped into the shower. She turned the nob all the way and received a weak flow of luke-warm water. She showered herself quickly, and toweled off in the dim light of her bathroom.
She was feeling quite strong again so she slipped her armor back on and grabbed her sword again. She left her cape behind and sprang out of her window into the cool, crisp air. She frowned at the clouds and they parted quickly, revealing the glowing sun. She touched down in front of the police precinct and frowned, it was closed down and looked terribly gloomy. She strolled down the empty street and glanced around for anything interesting.

Bobby had to decide what he was going to do about his latest brush with death. Had anyone seen him? Did he leave behind anything that might make anyone think it was him? He hoped not. It was the last thing he needed.
Should he call the police? No way he could do that. What would a young, homeless, high school educated adult be doing wandering around in an office building? they'd ask. And how would he explain not being caught on camera? No, best to just act like nothing happened. With that, he went on his way to the pawn shop.

After taking her on a trip to Rome, Italy using his "jumping" abilities, as he liked to call it... And having the most splendid italian lunch, he jumped them to the top of one of the highest buildings in the city... A building that he found to be quiet and lovely for the view.
"Was lunch alright, Hikari?" he asked her as he continued to hold the umbrella above their heads.
Hikari smiled and nodded her head gently, holding the jacket tightly to her body. "Yes, it was amazing," she said to him with a nod of her head. "I remember going to Rome the first time... That was fun... Even though I can't see, you always paint the pictures for me, Hikaru," she said to him, taking a step before pausing.
"There's someone else here," she said in a soft voice, scared, a little, for she did not know whether the person was good or bad... Only that he... or she... Had powers. "Hello?" she said, waiting for a reply...

When they reached the apartment building, Alex sighed. "Finally. We're here. I'm beat." She considered going through the rotating door, then thought better of it. If they weren't in the same pocket, Kikyo might get stuck in there. She entered via normal door and held it for her friend. "So, stairs or elevator?" Remembering the girl's cluelessness, she added, "Stairs are like elevated steps, and an elevator is a box that you go up and downstairs in."

Mia had to hide the blush that painted her cheeks as she turned around and stared out down into the alley where her bike was. After she calmed down, she peered over her shoulder at Plague and stared into his eyes momentarily before smiling.
"BOSS!" a co-worker shouted as he busted down the door and stared at the dead man in the office chair.
"Oops! Time to go friend!" Mia exclaimed with a smirk as she grabbed Plague by the wrist and jumped out of the window with him. A small laugh flowed past her lips as she fell feet first through the air, allowing the rush of wind blow her ebony hair up behind her.

"Why would people willingly trap themselves in a box?" Kikyo asked, trying to wrap her head around the concept of the elevator. She looked at Alex with her head tilted slightly, and her green eyes looked confused.
