When it came time for the water park, Henri helped Izzy change and put on swim trunks himself. In the park was a wave pool, a fountain garden for kids, a giant crashed pirate ship (fake and plastic, of course) with slides and flooded innards, a kiddie pool, a pool for adults, and 4 sprawling hot tubs. The lazy river drained into a rock-surrounded (again, fake) cove where people floated in tubes.
All that aside, Henri counted 24 lifeguards. Which was awesome.

Zach slipped out in his swimming trunks, followed by Rene in her suit and rosary. she never took it off.
"Ooooh! Pirate ship!" Zach pointed. "See, Izzy?"

At least she seemed to plan on going in the water. If Henri went in higher than his hips, he knew what would happen, and he didn't much relish the idea. He did, however, stand and watch the kids, moving a couple of feet this way or that. Izzy laughed and ran scampered up to Zach, looking at the ship. A lifeguard was regulating the kids going down the two small slides, and most of the kids seemed bigger. It would be okay with Zach, though, right?!
"Oooh. Is sink'd."

Izzy took his hand, careful to not get herself stung, and ran with him, giggling. When they reached the stairs leading up, she pointed.
"In or up?!"

"Up!" It was fun to climb!
"So, no swimming for you, then?" Rene asked, watching people walk around, eyes hidden behind her sunglasses. Ugh. So many preteen whores.

"Kay!" Izzy said. She liked climbing too, especially when she could use her sucky-hands and sucky-feet. Rather than climb the stairs, she scaled the side of the boat, giggling. Henri watched her to make sure she wouldn't hurt herself before responding to Rene.
"Not today, unfortunately. I don't swim when there's...other people around. Not that I don't love to."

Zach followed beside her on the stairs, smiling. Would protect you, Izzy!
"Mmm." Rene 'said', looking about. "Good thing, for you. I'm sure a few girls would be attacking you in the water."

Izzy got in line behind a few bigger kids to go down the slide. Was the first thing she wanted to do!

"Sure it is. Expecially when you're pretty." Rene stretched and pointed towards the lazy river. "Can you go on that without getting fishtailed?"
Zach padded behind her, feet squishing on the ground. Hopefully you wouldn't sting anyone by accident, Zach.

Rene thought he was pretty? That was nice!
"Uh, yeah, as long as I don't fall the Hell over."
Izzy shifted her weight back and forth until it was her turn to go down, and she did so squealing with her arms up. It was a small slide, but very wet and fast! She splashed down at the bottom and ran around and away a bit to watch Zach come down too!

So to the lazy river the adults went! Rene offered Henri a tube before she climbed into one of her own, lazily floating along.
"It's nice to not have to worry about drowning anymore.
Zach slid down on his jelly belly, splashing into the water loudly. He popped up his headpoof, swimming underwater towards Izzy.

Henri gladly jumped into his tube and floated beside her, giving a happy little sigh. His butt and feet dangled hopelessly in the water.
"Yeah. I can imagine those chains must have been awful."
Back in the water, Izzy shrieked and started to half-run, half-slosh away from Zach, which obviously startled some of the lifeguards. When they saw that she was simply among the happy screamers, she got no more attention than the other children.

"It was kind of a b***h." Rene agreed, spinning. "Nearly drowned once. Didn't get near large water after that." Spinning!
Zach reached out and grabbed her foot. GOT YOU!
