I got 16.5 out of 40 on my last playing test. Suprisingly, it was one of the highest scores. -Laughs-

LadyTwilyte I do pretty well on them. ~!!! I played the first 1/2 of the song really well for jazz band and then suddenly i got realy nervious and played the second part really badly sweatdrop

Gah, when I tried out for PRC in eighth grade I got SO stressed out that the judges thought I was psychopathic. Seriously, I was berating myself and my horn right there in front of them, speaking in third person... I BOMBED it I was so nervous... At the end, I left them with the words, "Thank you for judging us... ME! I mean, ME! Thank YOU for judging ME! Gah! You're so stupid! (talking to self.)" I ended up getting first band, second chair, though... I guess they were scared that I'd murder them otherwise... heh. sweatdrop

i play clarinet and last week i was taking a scale test in front of the whole symphonic band(i hate those kind of tests) and i was suppost to play the chromatic scale and i started on C# instead of C and i was like whoa, this sounds weird. it only took me like three trys before stupid me realized that i was starting on the wrong note. geez, and i only play it for warmup every frickin' day sweatdrop i had three other scales that i had to play after that, but i was so embarassed that i didn't do as well as i could've done sad ...

i did for a site reading for auditions... but its alright cause he lost his scores on what chair everyone was and he had to give us another auditon and i got 1st chair... would of gotten 3rd if he would not have lost it...

I dont think I've ever done horrible on a playing test, but I did try out for a percussion ensamble and have no idea what I was doing and make a complete fool of myself. redface

erm.. our band has no playing tests.. sweatdrop We don't have chairs either, the older you are the higher part you get.. *Shrug* so erm no never bombed a playing test...

Yep, a wire on my flute came out so I couldn't warm up, so before the test the director fixed it but I kept squeaking cause my flue wasn't warmed up.
