"Very wise indeed." Ander didn't think much on the subject. Her jobs were her own busyness. "I was meditating, as I do every morning. It keeps me calm and at peace."
With all the things that had happened it was something that kept him sane. Also it was something he had practiced for a very long time. It kept his muscles flexible.
Ander moved under the tree and took a seat. He wasn't sure if they were in for a long conversation, but he grew tired of standing. His back leaned against the tree as he looked out toward the desert. "I assume you did not come alone either. How is Catastrophe doing? Has he gotten over out last encounter?"

Marcia folded her arms and chuckled staring out at the desert. "Catastrophe." she moved her head in the direction he was hidden. "Is quiet, ever since the attack he's been much calmer..." It was almost eerie her zoid wasn't behaving as though it normally would.
"It's strange really..." She still couldn't figure out what had caused the Zoid to turn around at the camp a week ago. Normally Catastrophe would have continued and charged right in, making a massive ruckus..
"Catastrophe is alright for the most part, but he still hasn't said much..."Marcia was perplexed about what her zoid was thinking.

"hm..." Ander tapped his chin. "Divine intervention?" He laughed, it was an inside joke he had with his old gang.
"Sounds like something Saga went through a long time ago."
Though Ander had seen the dramatic change and was well aware of why his own ZOID had become tame. At least for him. No one else has ever been in the cockpit of the Chimera ZOID and Ander was convinced no one will ever.

Marcia couldn't help but laugh along with Quin. That sounded about right... what other explanation could there be.
"Must have been, he was ready to charge but for some reason he stopped midway and turned around." It was really the strangest thing she'd ever seen the mysterious Zoid do.
"I hope it's normal... I don't understand what changed his mind." she hadn't given him any commands to turn around and in that state he wou;dn't have listened to her anyway.

"ZOIDs change over time to fit their pilots." Ander shrugged. "Perhaps Catastrophe just changed a little quicker than a normal ZOID. He is unique..."
Ander got to his feet with a quick jump. "Would you permit me to take a look at the ZOID? Perhaps we could figure out what was going on." Ander withdrew his eye-patch and placed it over his left eye. "If there is anything."
The patch clicked as the lenses rotated than settled.

"That he is..." Marcia agreed, perhaps it was just a simple change in his personality and maybe it was starting to trust her more then. Marca looked back in Catastrophe's direction and then gave a nod.
"Yeah, you can look at him, I do hope it's nothing but him simply adapting." she said as she motioned for Quin to follow her. "This way."
Marcia let him to Catastrophe who was laying down behind the cliff.

Ander remained silent throughout the entire walk. His mind drifted from the 'vision' he had and the previous event. It only formed a very complicated mental puzzle in his head, one that seemed impossible to piece together. However impossible it seemed Ander tried to fit it all together.
When they reached the resting ZOID Ander paused and looked over its massive form. The eye patch rotated as it took images and sent them to the not so far off Saga. "Hmn..." His arms folded behind his back.
"Interesting." Ander commented as Saga sent information back.

A low growl came from Catastrophe as the pair approached, through the great Zoid didn't move and inch.
Marcia smiled walking up to the Zoid and placed her hand the Zoid's skeletal head The rumbling stopped as she got closer "You're pretty quiet again." she whispered to the zoid.
She turned one hand still on the zoid.
"What is?" she asked Quin curiously.

"Saga would like to note that he thinks your ZOID is a moron." Ander cleared his throat. "He also has noticed a familiar presence inside of your ZOID, becoming active."
The eye patch clicked again.
"It is hiding to keep you safe... Saga's having a hard time communicating with it as it is..." He paused and waited for Saga to finished the message. "Shy? No, scared." He rolled his eyes. "Make up your minds Saga."
Ander shook his head. "In any case, there is something stirring in your ZOID. Give it time is what Saga is telling me."
His arms folded across his chest as he waited for a response from Marcia.

Catastrophe growled briefly before growing silent once more.
Marica chuckled and raised her brow amused. "I don't think Catastrophe thinks highly of Saga either."She said with a slight smile at the behemoth. There was no doubt still ill feelings between the two Zoids. Marcia listened nodding occasionally.
Me safe? Catastrophe? Or both? Marcia wasn't sure, and what ever it was. "Then if it is protecting that goes without saying what exactly was it afraid of?" Marcia couldn't help but think aloud as she looked back at the Zoid.
"Perhaps it's a mix of being both shy and scared.." Marcia suggested then gave a nod as Quin finished relaying the message. Something was stirring inside the great Zoid though it seemed neither Quin nor Saga knew fully what it was...
"I'll wait then till it ventures out on it's own." She turned back to Quin. "Thank you, and thank Saga for me as well."

"Its afraid of people." Ander continued to look up at the large ZOID. His own ZOID still communicating with Catastrophe's 'conscience'. There was a reason it could do this, but Ander was not ready to give out that secret just yet. "It keeps your ZOID from going wild. Which would be another thing it is scared if."
Ander finally looked back at Marcia when she thanked the two. "It might be a while before it comes out. It is, unsure of what will happen." Ander sighed. "Saga will continue to communicate with it and figure out if his fears are justified. Until than I would also suggest that you do not pilot your ZOID and let it sleep. That seems to be when it, the conscience, is less active. In the mean time you are welcome to follow me. I have yet to finish my morning routine. Saga will let us know when he his finished."

It was afraid of people, and Catastrophe itself? Marcia couldn't help but feel sorry for it and wishing she could help more in some way. Maybe id she'd known earlier? She frowned for a moment but what good would that do, she couldn't talk to it. It was probably afraid of her like everyone else.
"This Zoid can do some real damage, hand has. I can see why it's afraid..." It had undoubtedly gone though many had times involving people. The more I find out about you the less I know it seems Marcia thought before lifting her hand from the zoid and turning to face Quin. Marcia gave a nod.
"I see... well there's nothing else to do but wait then until it feels safe enough to reveal itself." Marcia heard Quin off for her to join his morning routine. "It'll pass the time while we wait."

Ander begun to walk back toward the woods where they had emerged before. "That is why you have to be careful when you pilot that ZOID. It picks up easily on your emotions and affects the ZOID accordingly. A bond a pilot shares with their ZOID can evolve it or ultimately destroy it."
A flock of birds flew overhead toward the north. Their calls broke the calmness of the morning.
"With your ZOID especially. Though I do not think it will evolve past what it is. Only in mind."

Marcia followed Quin back through the forest listening as he spoke. The last part of his sentence was almost ominous. Marcia Hadn't known the to the full extent of how her emotions would effect the zoid, she was never usually angry and did her best to stay like that. Most of the time there was no point in getting angry.
A flock of birds flew over head, Marcia's thoughts were cut off once again and the silence of the forest disturbed.
"I've never heard of a Zoid physically Evolving before.." Marcia said slightly surprised. "Marcia could understand why it was important to keep her emotions under control for the unstable zoid.

"It happens to pilots who share a very strong bond with their ZOIDs." Ander paused in front of an odd looking tree. It's round roots peeked up from under the ground more than the other trees around it.
"The ZOID will try to keep up with the skills of its pilot and eventually evolve. I have only seen this happen once before. It's not common sadly."
Ander turned to face Marcia as he spoke. "Some people do not realize that ZOIDs are alive. They may be mechanical, but there is more to them than most know. Many pilots treat their ZOID as they would a regular car, and those pilots will never see their ZOIDs change for them."
He looked back at the tree, finding its odd shape amusing. "Your emotions can determine how well your partner performs on the battle field. They can pick up on any hint of change... especially if they share a bond."
