After dodging the questions on how he was feeling, Kirk excused himself from the bridge, stating he had to take care of another matter. He was leaving Sulu in charge. First time for everything, he supposed as the lift doors closed.

Kirk sighed. Everyone seemed to take a notice of his change in attitude. It was almost scary how easily he could be read. The captain stepped off the lift, only to find himself walking straight into Bones himself. The man he had wanted to avoid until they reached Vulcan.

Hell, this was going to be interesting. Jim frowned at Bones’s words, of how he could have handled things with Janice in a delicate matter. During this tid bit of a rant from the doctor, Jim noticed a hypospray attached to Bones’s belt.

Temptation and temper rising, the captain unlatched the hypospray without Bones noticing. It seemed once the doctor was in that mood of scolding, it was hard for him to break away from it.
“Bones, I’ve had enough of everyone intruding in my personal matters,” Jim snapped harshly, perhaps more than he had wanted too. His friend meant well but his damn temper got the best of him as he injected the hypospray intended for him into the neck of his friend.

It took a second or two before McCoy realized what had happened as he slumped to the floor. “Pay back is a b***h, you know…” Jim grunted as he hooked his arms underneath Bones and dragged his friend a little ways before someone came along and aided him. He gave the excuse that Bones had over worked himself.

“Thanks.” He said with a smile when the red shirt helped him put Bones in his quarters. Of Bones was going to kill him once he woke up, but hell, that made him feel better. A bit demented but good overall. Leaving the quarters, Jim headed to the gym of the Enterprise. A good work out could do wonders to his mind.

Luckily no one bothered him as he smacked the hanging punching bag. Venting out his anger.

(ATTENTION..just because I'm still unsure if everyone knows..I'm Bones as well..therefore I did not god mod..PEACE)

Lieutenant Nyota Uhura....

Uhura nodded as the man introduced himself. "Well.. it is a pleasure to meet you Ianto.." She smiled. She wasn't sure how she was going to deal with things now that Janice was awake. Personally... Uhura believed that she needed more rest..

".... I.. I think I should return back to the bridge." She stood up, looking at Janice. "I have to return to my duties..." she didn't care if Kirk objected to it or not.

Janice excused herself from the sickbay, she didnt know how long she was laying there, and her body was feeling sticky and sweaty. She decided it would be a good idea to head over to the gym to shower and then relax in the Steam room. She walked to her locker and pulled out her towel. After a couple of minutes she hung her uniform up and draped a towel over chest. After her long shower she walked into the steam room and felt her pores open up. She sat down, closed her eyes and leaned her head against the wall. Oh boy did it feel good. Her mind drifted from many thoughts. Once again she caught herself daydreaming until she heard some banging noises coming from the gym, followed my the sound of a rattling chain. Janice Tied her towel around again and looked through the little window on the door to see Kirk Pounding the Crap out of the punching bag.

She stood on her tippy toes watching him. His punches were intense and the sound echoed through the Gym. IT was obvious he was furious. She couldnt help it but feel bad for him, Shes been selfish and she knows it. All this time she kept thinking of herself and not once put herself in his shoes. She watched him some more contemplating if it was a good idea to walk up to him and try to put his mind at ease. She slipped her heels back on and opened the door. Once again the sound of her heels gave her location away..."Kirk.." she said softly.

Lieutenant Nyota Uhura....

The sound of the lieutenants boots clicked through the corridors.. her ponytail bouncing as she headed to the bridge. The sliding doors opened and to be honest, she wasn't surprised that nobody was there. She went to her seat and gasped when she noticed a flashing sign popped up on her monitor. 6 Klingon war birds were heading straight for them.

"Oh.... s**t...." She mumbled.

Kirk took a deep breath, releasing it as he laid into the punching bag. Each hit more intense than the last. Despite his venting out on the bag, it wasn’t helping his mind in the least. Apparently physical therapy failed this time, though Kirk wasn’t about to sit down in some quack’s office, talking about his feelings.

He paused for a moment, rubbing his knuckles each at a time. He hadn’t drawn blood yet but they were becoming sore from the on slaughter against his target. Frustrated with himself now at the fact he hadn’t changed into gym attire, Kirk removed his almost drenched Starfleet shirt off, tossing it aside.

It needed to be clean anyways, he thought to himself as he continued. Minutes flew by and still he hadn’t tired yet. Jim halted in his assault when the familiar noise of heels and a soft voice carried to his ears.
He flinched inwardly. Jim wasn’t quite ready to face Janice, and he didn’t think she’d want to have anything more to do with him.

“….What?” he asked, glancing slightly over his shoulder to catch a glimpse of her. He had to quickly look away not wanting to stare, at what he assumed her barely clothed self. "...Janice...I said all I had too..."

Lieutenant Nyota Uhura....

Uhura wasn't good with the ships combat maneuvers. She needed someone else with her right now, someone that actually knew how to plow their way through Klingons.
She quickly picked up one of the microphones and spoke into it. "All authorized personnel, please report to the bridge... I repeat all authorized personnel.. report to the bridge.. we are under Klingon fire."
She set the microphone for the intercom down and looked at the monitor.. the only thing she knew how to work was the ships shields. "Set to maximum shield power." She spoke into the ships voice command system.

Janice looked over at kirk seeing he was shirtless, The sweat trickled off his body and glistened with the bright lights of the gym. She shook herself out of her trance and stepped closer. "I know you have, I just really wanted to say that i was sorry.." she kept eying the floor hoping their eyes wouldnt lock yet. "I Just needed to be more understanding of the situation you were in, Im aware that i was being selfish.." she looked down at her feet and let it out. " You are right, we cant let this destroy us, or risk it." She stepped closer putting her hand on his shoulder. Her hand looked so small compared to his shoulder. "Im hoping you could turn around and finally talk to me, I want to fix things." She sighed. "Im not mad anymore...You did what you had to do..I respect that.." she tilted her head to the side hoping to hear back from him.

Normally when a guy tries to sneak away the morning after a long passionate night of steamy love that only Orions can do correctly, Gaila would wake up and at least semi-embarrass them. Not this time though. This time Gaila didn't have the heart to put the poor ensign through any torment as he clumsily put his clothes on and snuck out of her room. Gaila had found the poor man in the bar yesterday drowning himself in Andorian ale over the loss of his brother back home. Half-opening her eyes, Gaila got a quick peak at the ensign before he tiptoed out of the room. He sure did look a lot happier.

Gaila should have been a goddamned Morale Officer instead of an Engineering Technician. Seemed she was continually getting better at raising the spirits of the crew, or at least the male crew. Not very many of the females liked her that much. Green was not a good color women except for Orion women but Orion women tended not to be green with envy like most women.

After a large yawn and a few stretches Gaila took a quick shower and put on her uniform. Gaila had been assigned Gamma shift, the so called 'graveyard shift', down in the transporter room and had hours to go until her shift started. She knew she should probably go back to bed. Keenser, the only other officer that worked with her in the transporter room during gamma shift, absolutely hated it when Gaila came in tired and wore out.

For a minute Gaila thought about going to the gym to work out her excess energy but changed her mind. She needed to go over the calibrations to the guidance thrusters anyway. Once inside the transporter room, Gaila made her way over to console three and got to work. Math always seemed to calm Gaila down. Even though it wasn't in her nature, a little excess work never really hurt anyone.

Kirk bit down on his lower lip as her touch sent shiver down his spine. He was about to turn, to confront this head on until Uhura’s voice broke in. Jim snapped his attention to the com system on the wall.

Janice would have to wait as his nature kicked him. He grabbed his tossed shirt and put it on as he hurried out of the gym. There was no time for small talk. His ship was in danger.
He appeared on the bridge a moment later, having ran from here from the gym. Jim slipped into his command chair. “Status report. Where are the klingons?” he asked as his gaze narrowed on the view screen.

It was the test all over again. This time, the rules couldn’t be changed. “If we’re in communications range, hail the ships.” Klingons out this far? They were in violation of the treaty laws especially since they were close to the Vulcan Colony.

Gaila was able to get about half of her calibrations done before Uhura's voice filled the room. Gala looked around. The transporter room was practically empty. "Crap.", she muttered to herself before letting loose a string of curses in Orionese. Gaila technically wasn't of a high enough rank to go to the bridge, but after looking around it was clear that Gaila was the senior officer currently in the transporter room. Where the hell was Scotty and the other higher ranking engineers? Gaila groaned and quickly opened a comm link with the bridge.

"Technician Gaila reporting for duty. Awaiting orders."

Nia heard Uhura's voice when she was in the cooridors with her sketch book. She wished to help, but as she stated, 'authorized personnel' only. It kind of urked her. It was basically a slap in the face. It felt like there was a party and the VIP section was the only section that got to do anything. When was it her turn to shine? When was it the red shirts turn to have glory? Probably not in this life time. She curled a piece of her red locks behind her ear, continuing silently down the hall.

Ianto got up from his desk on which was laying about various medical documents in separate piles of where they were suppose to be sent in order of urgency, when he heard the announcement of the attack on board the ship.

"Bloody Klingons. Can't sit down for a decent hour to get all the rutty paperwork done with." Ianto sighed as he went around gathering the general supplies he figured he'd need for emergency surgeries on board the ship as well as any minor wounds.

He took a deep breath in and out to let out his tension," Time to get to work."

Uhura nodded. "Hailing the Klingon ships." She brought them up onto the monitor. It seems Jim was back to his old self.. a little good old fashioned combat seemed to fix him up.

"U.S.S Enterprise.. You have come into our territory... who is your captain...?" One of the Klingons spoke. (Dude.. I'm not good with Klingons.. I haven't gotten far enough into the season to even know how they talk.. or what they do. All I know is that they attack things.. alot.)
