Richard smiled, almost longingly, at her question. He got a distant look in his eyes as he replied. "It's the most amazing place you'd have ever seen. Around every corner there's something new, a home carved into a stalagmite, crystal gardens, gloing with the light of the greens and golds and reds and blues because of the torches. There's always new smells, because every torch in every hall is dfferent, burning inscense in the chapel, made from the minerals we mine. Deep caverns with stairs that never end... Playing in the concert hall, feeling the music as you play it, reverberating against the rock walls. Singing with everyone you know at the end of a counsal meeting, learning something you never knew about your own history..." At first he had started with a soft voice, but building, and finally using his hands to describe the picture-esqe scenes he described. You could tell how much he admired his underground world, how much he wanted to tell her about it, and how he did so.

His words definitely did seem dreamlike to me -- How could such a place exist? -- But at the same time, the way he used his words made it real. I could almost hear the music that he spoke of. "Sounds nice... I'd like to see it, but... You know my deal..." I rubbed at my eyes.

"And what exactly is your home like?" Alesea asked him suspiciously, her peach-colored cheeks changed to a bright red when she felt his hand squeeze her's slightly. "You know we've only met....." She whispered to herself hoping that he didn't hear her say it. She still felt rather strange about leaving home with someone she just met but there was just something about him that made her want to be with him no matter where he lived.

RIchard tried to will away the thoughts invading his head, the ones that told him to take Jubition with him weather she wanted to come or not. He couldn't do that, could he? "Your deal?" He questioned, wondering if she meant corresondance from his home to her own, or perhaps the traveling between. That couldn't happen, the stone doorway would be sealed at dawn for the next three-hundred and sixty-five days. There would be no travel back and forth. Unfrtunatly.

"Yeah. I want to see my family again..." I stared up into the sky, trying not to meet his eyes. I eventually failed and turned my face towards his. "I'd like to see yours, too, though. Why does your home go through the trouble of bringing back women from the surface, anyway?"

Well, that's hardly a problem... Richard was suddenly very hopeful, maybe, just maybe, he could convince her now, to come with him. Only her next question distracted him. "That's always a question we're asked..." He smiled at her curiosity. "Down in the caverns the only children that are born are of the male gender, all boys, not a single bouncing baby girl ever..." He trailed off, there were ledgends in the caverns of one such baby girl, but that was an old wives tale. "So, to keep the comunity alive, additions to the cave population are needed." The question answered, he bit his lip. Now all he had was one more chance, at least only one he wanted to try, and so, he played his final card. "Jubilation, what If I could bring you back to see your family, even if it would take time to do so..."

I looked at him in surprise, then flipped over so I was on my knees, so I could lean tolook at him better. "...Really?"
I thought it over. From how he spoke, I wouldn't be able to leave his home for quite some time -- Though he did say I would be able to eventually. If I refused, I'd be stuck in this town for the rest of my life. Normally, that wouldn't be so bad a thing, but this chance would hound me for the rest of my life. And if this was the wrong one? Well, at least I would know that I acted instead of stagnated.

Richards face lit up with his smile and he immediatly reached over and wrapped his arms around Jubie, not thinking about it, and once he let go he sort of wandered away from that little mishap, instead, he took her hands. "You can bring anything, anything you want... But we should hurry... No one likes getting back last... It leaves less time for everything." It was easy to see how happy she had made him by saying yes, and it even suprised him, how much he had been depending on it, at least now kidnapping wasn't involved.

My face went bright red when he pulled me close, and stayed that way as I felt his warm hands hold mine again. His happiness was contagious, and I felt myself grinning just as brightly as he was. "Lead the way, then."
"It's... It's not perfect..." Nathaniel admitted. "But nowhere is..." he sighed. "It's hard to explain... I'm not great with words..."

Richard began to pull Jubilation toward his horse, the large animal had already begun to walk over to them, ready to leave as well. "Is there anything else you need? You have your guitar but do you want anything else? You can bring whatever you want, as long as Dark can hold the weight." He smiled again.

Richard smiled, his mouth molding easily to the expression. "That's a good thing I suppose, and maybe now I can teach you on that suprano grande..." He held out a hand for her, the other holding onto the horses reigns, and looked up at the sky. It must have been earlier than he expected, because the moon wasn't out of sight just yet.
