Nani_Lupin I'm imagining Zenigata ending up like Fujiko... xp I liked that one for the most part, though. How would Evil Zenigata act? Would he try to kill Lupin? Would he just not care? What if Evil Zenigata was an Opposite Zenigata, and was sorta like a James Bond-Zenigata? Ookay, that just a little too weird... Zenigata ending up like Fujiko puts a disturbing picture in my head. xd sweatdrop He could be like Lupin and start stealing stuff. xd Except be more evil and gun happy than Lupin. And then good Zenigata and Lupin could get together to stop him and then in the end good Zenigata would be faced with having to kill evil Zenigata. That would actually be kind of cool, I think. 3nodding

But he would be very annoyed that his twin/clone would help Lupin. xp And I can't see Zenigata ending up like Fujiko! That's just weird! confused

First he'd steal Fujiko, then he'd steal everything Lupin was after just to frustrate him in the same way he had been frustrated for years, then he'd stop acting goofy and just kill Lupin sweatdrop

Rinu-Yasha Ice_Moon Twonk Ice_Moon At some point, isn't Zenigata called Detective Keibu Zenigata or Inspector Keibu Zenigata? So it would be either Detective Inspector Zenigata or Inspector Inspector Zenigata xd xd xd It wouldn't surprise me. xd Is he the only one that they get the name wrong on? And it's not really all that hard to find his name. What I want to know is, why not just "Inspector Zenigata"? In one dub of CoC, (There are two) Zenigata introduces himself as "Inspector Keibu Zenigata". Is his name Keibu?? I mean it's like saying "Hi, I'm Inspector inspector Zenigata"! Or Detective Detective depending on how you'll translate it. Either a mistake or there just to give him a first name. Or just one of those things like people saying "ATM Machines"

I think DVDs come out about 2-3 months after that. I'm not really sure, though. The one draw back to the Lupin mailing list is that disscusion on Bootlegs get's you on a mod' list for awhile. I could ask about when it's coming out in Japan, but those wouldn't have subtitles. Just be on the look out in October/November. That would be my best guess.

I figure it would be in the months. They will put you on a mod's list? How stupid. Yeah, I'll just look for them during those months. I don't want you to get in trouble asking about them. 3nodding

You could always check on Funimation, Pioneer, and Genoen (not positive about them) websites,... they usually have some information. I have a friend working at the store where I buy all of my Anime, so he tells me stuff too. Next movie for here comes out the 28th.

Here is some info on this year's Lupin TV special. I got this from the Lupin mailing list: This is the title: Angel's Tactics ~The Fragments of Dream are the Scent of Murder~ And here is a summarry: CuteBoyNick Desslar, from Toon Zone, provided a really good translation of the summery. "The 17th Lupin the 3rd special features the series' strongest female team ever! And Lupin's stolen treasure holds a secret... "Original metal," a UFO fragment, is being stored in Area 51 at the Graham (sp?) Lake Air Force base in Nevada. As it's an alien metal that doesn't exist on earth, Lupin sets his sights on it. It's so strong not even Goemon's sword can cut it. However, Lupin's not the only one after the metal. There's also the Bloody Angels terrorist group led by Lucky Clover: Jikundo (perhaps this is the Japanese way of saying Tae Kwan Do?) master Jo, heavy weapons expert Linda, bloodthirsty swordsman Kaoru, and poison expert Sophie. With the wacky duo of Inspector Zenigata and investigator Emily joining in, an incredible struggle for the metal begins!" And this is the Japanese website for the special: http://www.ntv.co.jp/kinro/lineup/2005/0722/index.html

It sounds cool, but it made me laugh and also wonder why it took them so long to involve Area 51 in a Lupin movie. I'm still waiting for them to do a whole Noah's Ark thing or something like that, if they haven't already done it.
And for when they completely run out of ideas, which will most likely never happen but it made me think of this bizzare scenario, they can have Lupin face the tough shopping crowds at the nearest wholesale bulk shopping center only to find that there only one remaining item that he and everybody else wants and it's a race to get the item and then survive the trip to pay for it and get to his car. 3nodding xd Ahhh....I love my mind.

I'm imagining Jigen and Goemon sitting on top of the aisles, telling Lupin which way to go, to beat and avoid the crowd. And Fujiko Jijacking a forklift for herself to beat off any body. And Zenigata wants it too, while I'm adding to your scenario. blaugh

xd Fujiko and the forklift. That would be awesome. And Goemon gets mad because they make him slice through the aisles so Lupin can better escape the people. And to make it worse it's during the holidays so the shoppers are really stressed and angry. I'd pay to see that. 3nodding xd
I showed my brother some of the FUNimation dubs and when he heard Zenigata's voice his response was something like "Uh......yeah.........that's pretty bad" xd
