I'm first chair in clarinets.... ^ ^" though Idk how it all worked out... see I play bass clarinet and our band director disided to put us all together as the 'clarinets' well by doing so I'm first chair and almost every Clarinet is ticked at me... doesn't help that I've also made 2nd chair in the all-region band and will be going to tryout for area.... ^ ^"" so yea I think I'm gonna be hated for a little while by some of the section... but yea... > >""" They'll get over it ^ ^"""...

I'm first chair trumpet out of six people. Not to mention I'm in 6th grade. My only competition is a girl named Emily, I'm not going to lie, she's really, really good. The only reason I'm ahead of her is because I took extra lesons over the summer sweatdrop . I've always wnted to play the piano, and the violin. But I have'nt been able to because my family has either not had the money or the resorces cry . I love "Weird Al" Yankovic, he's awsome! If there are any older trumpet players here, I would love some tips. I beleive even though you may be the best, (which I'm not) there is always room for improvement!

Well I'm in 7th grade middle school band right now and our band has like 100 people in it so they had to split us up into two seperate bands. one band is band A and the other is band B. I'm in band B And i just found out that they put all the REALLY good players in band A and put everyone else in band B. I play clarinet and I am third chair out of 20 clarinets! but after reading all that above it's not really that big of a deal sad so I'm like really mad at my band teacher! BANDS NEED TO BE BALANCED!!!! NOT HAVE ALL THE GOOD PLAYERS IN ONE BAND AND EVERYONE ELSE IN THE OTHER BAND!!!!!!!!!!!!

BANDS NEED TO BE BALANCED!!!! NOT HAVE ALL THE GOOD PLAYERS IN ONE BAND AND EVERYONE ELSE IN THE OTHER BAND!!!!!!!!!!!! why? if you put good players with mediocre players, you're stunting the musical growth of the good players. if you put mediocre players with good players, the mediocre players will get discouraged because they aren't as good as the good players. the mediocre players will then become depressed and not practice, which means they won't get any better, and they will continue to hold back the good players. if you think that's fair, you certainly are one cruel person.
