Ellandra squeaked and rolled over, turning away - not quite ready to view something like what was likely about to happen, despite her attempt at peeking some time ago. Peering through the door was one thing - especially considering she hadn't actually seen anything -; being in the same room and just watching was. . . . another entirely.

Faolan leaned on the dresser, watching her. "La, girl. You gonna lay there while I change or you gonna go get some fresh air?"

Ellandra's only response was to squeak again and scramble outside the vardo, face aflame.

Faolan chuckled a little, though did feel guilty at how quickly the girl had run out. He changed pants fast and laid down on the bed, relaxing on his back. Elle probably needed some air, so Fao decided to wait for her to calm down and wander on back on her own.

A few minutes later, Ellandra crept back inside, a look of sheepish embarrassment spread across her features. "U-umm...." She mumbled, a blush still present on her face.

The young man gave her an easy smile when she came back, lounging in a casual sprawl on the bed. Clearly he was comfortable with his bare chest and feet, even wiggling his toes a little at her. "You alright now, lass? I wouldn't get naked with you in here, not unless you wanted me to. Don't need to go subjecting you to my scrawny self before you're ready."

Ellandra nodded a little, still looking incredibly embarrassed. " I - I'm sorry, Faolan," she whispered as she moved over to the bed - not quite managing to look at Faolan, though this was due to her embarrassment at her frantic reaction rather than anything the fortune-teller had done.

Faolan sat up, catching her hand in his. "Look at me, Ellandra. You get so shy sometimes and I think I've done something wrong. I didn't mean to embarrass you or make fun of you. I just ain't use to people who aren't so guarded."

Ellandra bit her lip and looked at Faolan. "I - I'm sorry, I am. . . I didn't mean to - to hurt you. . ." Tears rose in her eyes as she spoke, guilt flooding every inch of her being. "I'm so sorry. . ."

The brunette nodded, just a little, and lay down. She still felt like a horrible person for hurting Faolan's feelings, and she didn't think that was going to go away very quickly, but she would try to feel better. . . "S-still, I'm sorry."

Faolan rubbed her back reassuringly. "Told you, lass. It's alright." He moved to sit up, scooting around Ellandra to get off the bed, then headed for the dresser. After some rooting about, he got a t-shirt out and tugged it on. Laying back down, he wrapped his arms around the young woman. "There. Does that make it easier for you?"

Ellandra said nothing, but snuggled close to Faolan and closed her eyes, nodding again and curling up a bit. She probably would have been okay had he remained shirtless, but nevertheless this was a thoughtful gesture that she greatly appreciated. She would have to deal with her timidity at some point in the very near future, but for now. . . this was good.

Faolan sighed softly, liking the closeness. "Elle, you gonna be okay with all this? It's a lot to adjust to in living here." And he didn't just mean with him.

Ellandra thought for a minute, and then nodded. "Yes... I... I know it's going to take some time, but. . . I'd much rather try and adjust to - to life here, with you, than to - to hide away from everything in my apartment for the rest of my life."
