Wow Chaos that sounds great.
I pmed my lesson overview to doistu but I forgot to mention the experience afterwards. Well, I did a rune reading the day afterwards and it said my past present and future were all about awakening to the purpose of the banishing spell and that I was well on my way for the future. I have also stopped thinking so much on the topic, so I'm guessing it's slowly working it's charm on me. I was surprised at how the runes confirmed that the spell was in motion in such a positive manner. I'm feeling better now.
Okay, thats all for now, can't wait for the next lesson.

Lesson 5: "The Bounce-Back" Now I bet everyone can guess what this one is hehe. This'll just be a short lesson after having already described what and "active" protection is. So, The bounce-back or return-to-sender spell. I have used this in situations where I feel that someone is inturding on me and they need a taste of their own medicine. I know people who use them a lot actually but you need to be careful when performing a bounce-back. It sends nasty stuff back to the person who sent it to you in the first place. The clear-cut purpose of a bounce-back spell is to return negative or hurtful energy to someone who has sent it out to you. BUT...I feel its important to stress the need to properly evaluate the situation. Does the person upsetting you really, really deserve a bounce-back? In the heat of the moment we often get upset and slightly, everso slightly, lose grip on our own reality. Its in this little window that we might get so upset we perform a spell that isn't deserved or needed. I'll go over how to decide when this protection is necessary in another lesson but for now will urge you not to use one in the immediate future. Instead I would like you to write me a bounce-back spell incorporating 5 of the following things. I would also like you to explain what time of day/week/month you might perform such a spell and why: A black candle A variety of dark ribbons An incense of your choice Moon image Mirror A feather A blue cloth Two or three of the following herbs: Ginger, Unicorn root, Agrimony, Nettle and Rue String I know this one seems a bit complicated but I feel its important to understand how you work your magic and what you feel you can use or is necessary to perform your magic in a way that works for you. I hope you enjoy! XX

You need: A black candle for banishing Moon phase- waining Mirror to reflect the negativity [or whatever you're trying to send back] back at them String to bind the energy to the person I would also use a piece of paper and a pencil
1- Light the black candle and set it opposite the mirror.
2- Write what you want to return on the piece of paper, fold it up and tie with the string.
3- Hold the paper to the flame and imagine what you want send back being bounce from the mirror to the person. Be careful not to burn your fingers in the flame.
4- When the paper is burnt, say three times Return to sender
5- Blow out the candle and clean up the ashes from the paper in any fell on the area you're working and throw them away. I would try this one myself, but my parents are paranoid about a teenager with candles in her room sweatdrop So I hope it works if anyone tries themselves.

I've tried one where you bury the paper in a garden instead of burning it. I figured that burning would work too and it's easier for some people.

Moon phase- Waning. Time of day- Before sunrise is best. It's when the darkness and negativity disappear into a bright and positive day.
Materials- Agrimony- Used to banish and return negative energy. Black candle Blue cloth dark ribbon potpourri (Well it smells, like incense) I can't pick a type though but something to represent banishing.
Method-
Set out the blue cloth on your altar or working space. Place the potpourri in the middle and envision that each piece is the negative energy you have been receiving. Light the black candle nearby while you begin to fold the blue cloth over the potpourri, making a bundle. Wrap the dark ribbon around to make sure there are no gaps and nothing can fall out. Then either tie the agrimony around or (if you have a power) sprinkle it on. Imagine throwing the bundle back to the sender while chanting;
I catch all negative energy and seal in black Now with agrimony I send it back
Snuff the candle and get rid of the bundle by throwing it out or leaving it outside as a toy for a pet. (I can't think of many ways to dispose of it that won't be harmful to the environment or stop the spell.)
This one was tricky, especially as I wanted to do something different.

[boo's guild]
    I'm back!
For Lesson 4...
I can not do that because I don't have enough money to keep buying candles and incense... D; So, until then, I'll just mention the first banishing spell I tried, which I'm quite proud of making on my own. >.< I wrote it down somewhere, but I didn't have my BoS with me, and I've misplaced it.... anyways! I'll stop rambling about it.
The spell: First, I wrote down some words that I've forgotten, and some that were very specific to my needs at that time. As I said them, I lit a candle and wrote what I wanted to peacefully let go of [on a different piece of paper]. I let the second piece of paper burn, while saying some other words that I have forgotten. Then, I took the ashes and let the wind carry them away, gently [representing letting go ^-^] What stuck to my hand, I took and burried in the earth.
That worked very well for me, I'd just like to find the paper soon... The fire, air, and earth worked well for me because my sun, rising, and moon signs are fire, earth, and air signs. So it is something that was made to fit me... but yeah.
That's about it.
I think I'll try something more like yours soon, and then do lesson 5 x] thanks!

Homework for chapter 4 ---------------- Whats imposing: A negative energy that drives me down into depression, I believe it is because of my empathy( still not sure if i have it or not, other than i absorb other people's emothions)I tend to absorb negative or positve energy-((which happens alot to different people, when surrounded by crowds)). i feel that sometimes i hold this energy either within myself, or end up pushing that energy into an object somehow (mostly this has happen within the past)then i cant pick up that object without feeling sick (happen to my guitar...)
the only banishing spell that i knew before was a visualization my father taught me: before sleeping, imaging you are breathing out negative energy, dark black mass cloud that escape like air through your mouth, then imagine you are breathing in light, its golden and radiates the white light of protection
results for this banishing spell: less nightmares XD
for the banishing spell: ======================== if i cant get a black candle, would a white one work as well?

Mirror shield spell
props: A black candle black strings reshly picked jasmin Moon Mirror
I shall sit in the moonlight and gaze into the moon. placing the mirror infront of me, the black strings tied at my wrists before the start, jasmin fragrant from twilight exhaust, black candle infront of the miror, between me and it.
I light the candle. and as it is night the area is lit up. I sit on my heels and knees in the direction of the moon. and I begin by saying:
"Goddess, she who is there in the dark sky, hear me now as I begin my work. As you see i am bound by threads of others, those who wish and will bad for me. I will will them to break now."
I start biting and gnawing at the strings until they break down.
"I am free of them, but I will need to remain so, let I be as a mirror, like the one before me, reflecting the lights."
I countinue praying:
"Goddess as you are of death, and therefor of balecing, I will that the essence of you be brought down into me, so that I may combat these evils with your strength."
I visualize the moon focusing in my mind, effloresent in my existance. I then visualize it dripping silver onto my flesh. "as thee are of silver, let my mind and shield and weapon be, as thee be seen, so shall I be. and as payment I leave thee my pain."
I but my hand in the candle's flare. after five seconds, I use that hand to pick it up and pour the wax onto the other hand. Eliminating the flame, and if not I brsh it out with my fingertips.
Visualizing a silver over me.

Brilliant efforts guys!! I'm very very impressed hehe.
Loveblackbutterflies, thank you for the effort. What would you have preffered to do?
captains bootie, you don't need to worry. If you can use visualisations or find substitutions then please go ahead smile
ummei, white is fine. It can be used as a substitution for everything else because it's all the colours. Thank you for your input smile
Ephemeral, I strongly suggest you do not burn your hand by putting it into a flame or by dripping wax onto your hand. You don't need to be invasive when performing a banishing or any kind of spell. I like your concept though.

doistu Loveblackbutterflies, thank you for the effort. What would you have preffered to do? Oh I meant I wanted to do something without using the mirror because that's what my first thought was. I wanted to challenge myself. The effort was no problem, you've gotta try in a class, right?
